Nearly one out of three graduates continue to seminary or mission work. Concordia is proud of its numerous music ensembles and its athletic programs. There was a little row some years ago about a team captain being disqualified because not a Christian. The people who said it was unfair were the same ones who charged Lutherans higher tuition when attending the non-Christian campus. Oh what webs we weave and all that. Concordia has a good success rate in the natural sciences. I attended several music performances, wandered through a museum, and generally enjoyed myself on their campus. I would be happy to take classes there myself.

The athletics facilities are very nice, especially the athletics offices and board rooms. Parking wasn't a problem, and the students are extremely helpful and friendly to point you to the right building or directions. One student even followed me to make sure I found the right building which was greatly appreciated.

Yesterday, on November 12, 2024, the Hastings women's soccer team faced off against Concordia for…read morethe league championship. While congratulations may be in order for their soccer victory, I cannot say the same about their loss to human decency, respect, and teamwork. My child, who plays for Concordia, was subjected to racially charged comments from the crowd. Disturbingly, neither the coaching staff nor the referee intervened to stop the hateful and offensive remarks directed at her. As a result, my child felt unsafe and unprotected in an environment that, according to the Hastings College website, promotes "Acceptance & Belonging" as a core value (https://www.hastings.edu/about/acceptance-and-belonging/). I strongly advise parents: if you want your child to feel accepted and welcome, Hastings College is NOT the right school for them. This incident demonstrates that Hastings has fallen short of fostering an atmosphere of respect and inclusion. Allowing such vile rhetoric to be directed at any player should have been addressed immediately by the referees, coaches, and other players. The lack of action in this situation casts doubt on the college's commitment to its own stated values. Congratulations, Hastings, on your win; however, how does it feel to lose your morals? P.S. No, we will not be deported. We are, and always have been, incredibly proud of you--you have NEVER disappointed us! I will be filing a complaint!

The Human Performance area has come a long ways from a few years back, nice improvements to help with the curriculum which is a certified NSCA Education Recognition Undergraduate Program. The campus is clean, well maintained, and the parking was not being enforced, allowing me to park without risk of a parking ticket. The athletic facilities look very modern and well maintained also. I was impressed with my quick experience at this private liberal arts institution.

Brittanee and Melanie are great advisors, professor Lang is amazing when it comes to the Microsoft Office course. Credits from my community college in Illinois were easily transferred. I even emailed my upcoming math professor about a calculator and got an answer right away. I have never done an online course before and I am so incredibly happy to be a student at Bellevue and today just found out that they are going to have a masters degree program in the field. I am looking at which is supply chain management. I was going to go through the tuition assistance program Again to get a masters at the University of Denver, but I am going to be a Bruin for life. I love the business administration building ( Mike & Josie Harper Center ) with many new features and designs . I also love the V.J. & Angela Skutt student center . The interior architecture is beautiful. Many corners to study or have a meeting . One level is the hot food restaurants ( Asian and Mexican) and Starbucks . People are very friendly , good manner and respectful. The students have room for self discovery and growth. Pretty spectacular and gargantuan University that anybody born in any part of Nebraska will probably end up going to. There's so much energy and life in this University and it's hard not to love how electric it is when kids are in town, when school is in session, or even better when there is a college football game going on. Absolutely spectacular. There's some good food in town and I had one of my best shows in the whole country in the whole history of my music right here in Lincoln - all because of this massive school. And the school gives Lincoln a youth, an energy, an amazing flavour and spirit and liberal atmosphere in a very Republican state and it makes me love Lincoln even more than I already do. The campus is quaint, older, and didn't show major rennovations or growth. Most buildings were locked down and by the end of the semester, minimal administrative staff were available. Two previous Yelp replies had issues with Athletics. Their facilities aren't the best compared to other private liberal arts institutions in the state of Nebraksa, but it is better than others in other states I have seen. This campus is conducive towards academics and the downtown area doesn't seem to cater to college kids.

Horrible wrestling program-…read more My season fell apart as soon as it began & Head Coach as well as Assistant Coaches were inappropriate, childish, and just not good at what they were hired to do. Cafeteria- Terrible food. The more I ate at the caf the more frequently I got sick. I had befriended one of the cafeteria employees who showed me picture evidence of the molded produce, vegetables, and food they serve. Not only have I seen pictures I have witnessed it, mold in the dessert they were serving as well as frequently raw chicken. I have made multiple complaints since the beginning of fall semester & have yet to see change.
