However, once you arrive on campus, even with a map, it is a bit tricky to find certain buildings. The campus is very pretty and well-maintained. The athletics facilities are very nice, especially the athletics offices and board rooms. Parking wasn't a problem, and the students are extremely helpful and friendly to point you to the right building or directions. One student even followed me to make sure I found the right building which was greatly appreciated.

Pretty spectacular and gargantuan University that anybody born in any part of Nebraska will probably end up going to. There's so much energy and life in this University and it's hard not to love how electric it is when kids are in town, when school is in session, or even better when there is a college football game going on. Absolutely spectacular. There's some good food in town and I had one of my best shows in the whole country in the whole history of my music right here in Lincoln - all because of this massive school. And the school gives Lincoln a youth, an energy, an amazing flavour and spirit and liberal atmosphere in a very Republican state and it makes me love Lincoln even more than I already do. Great support from the people in the career center helping me not freak out so much about being ready for after college jobs! The cafeteria can be hit and miss but there's usually a good selection for everyone to find something they like. If there's something you want to see on campus, you can start something yourself because most activities and groups are student led and staff are always ready to help you get things going. I really enjoyed being a part of the music programs. Dr. Kurt and Dr. Little are passionate about encouraging students to develop their talents.

This was my first physical visit to York University, formerly York College located in York, NE…read more Once you exit the 80 freeway, it's a 3 mile path towards the eastern side of the town. The campus is quaint, older, and didn't show major rennovations or growth. Most buildings were locked down and by the end of the semester, minimal administrative staff were available. Two previous Yelp replies had issues with Athletics. Their facilities aren't the best compared to other private liberal arts institutions in the state of Nebraksa, but it is better than others in other states I have seen. This campus is conducive towards academics and the downtown area doesn't seem to cater to college kids.

Horrible wrestling program-…read more My season fell apart as soon as it began & Head Coach as well as Assistant Coaches were inappropriate, childish, and just not good at what they were hired to do. Cafeteria- Terrible food. The more I ate at the caf the more frequently I got sick. I had befriended one of the cafeteria employees who showed me picture evidence of the molded produce, vegetables, and food they serve. Not only have I seen pictures I have witnessed it, mold in the dessert they were serving as well as frequently raw chicken. I have made multiple complaints since the beginning of fall semester & have yet to see change.
