9/24/21 between 6:30 and 7pm a man that came from this van was at the park. He was in his late 30's, white male with tanned skin, thin build, about 5'10", hair buzzed very short, brown hair, oval face, left black sunglasses on the top of his head. He approached all of the kids, tried playing with them on the big kid toys. He was acting erratic, got on his hands and knees pretending to be a dog chasing after the kids. He picked up some of the kids toys and was playing with them and trying to engage the kids. He asked my 10 yo son to do "pull ups" with him which my son said no. He then went to another child at the monkey bars and picked him up, the kid started screaming and his Dad grabbed his kid back. At this point I took my kids to the little kid toys and he ended up following us a few minutes later. He approached my son grabbed at my son's arm while asking him to go on the bike with him (the toddler stationary bike), I stood up and asked him to leave us alone. He then went towards my little girl. I grabbed her and ran to my car. When I left I took a quick video of his Ford van. He had left both doors on the passenger side open as you can see in the video stills below. Please watch your kids. And call the cops when you see child abducters. Be safe.

    Springtime in the air!

This is another park located in The Vistas village in Summerlin and I run by it quite often. It is right off of W. Charleston and easy to access. Plenty of space for picnics, birthday parties etc. This park is always full of kiddos running around having a good time. I especially like this park in the early morning when no one is around. It is quite and serene with beautiful views of the mountains behind it. Lots of green grass and trees make it a cool place to take a break and kick back. There are clean restrooms and drinking water too. Great location!

I normally don't leave reviews, but parents deserve to know about our experience here…read more We were visiting with friends and their 5-year-old son was getting ready to play laser tag. While we were helping him get set up, he touched one of the laser tag guns and an employee immediately got irritated and told him in a very rude tone that he "doesn't understand" and couldn't play anymore. He's a young child -- kids that age are still learning and developing at different paces. There was no need to speak to him that way, especially in front of everyone. He ended up in tears. When I calmly approached to understand what happened, the employee continued with the same attitude and dismissive behavior. Instead of de-escalating, she became confrontational, which eventually led to security being called and us being asked to leave. The situation was completely blown out of proportion and handled in a very unprofessional way. This is a children's venue. Staff should be patient, understanding, and trained to communicate appropriately with young kids and their parents. If someone doesn't have the temperament to work around children, this may not be the right environment for them. On top of that, the playground area itself raises safety concerns. There are kids of all ages running full speed through a treehouse-style structure with steep stairs and heavy traffic, which feels like an accident waiting to happen without proper supervision or flow control. Very disappointing experience overall. Parents should be aware of how interactions are handled here.

In the mundane culture and sense of life its all about being on task and belonging to the world. We need to take time to regroup and remember. We need to focus on what's important. But sometimes we can be distracted just a little and forget about everything. It's all good just to go play. As we age we realize and regress . I'm figuring out this . The inner battle of oneself. To just do something whimsical and unplanned is epic. We have to adult ourselves enough when we exist in our life experiences, but let's be clear, "go play!" Response Time: N/A Professionalism: (Depends on you and how you treat others) Date: 4/11/26 Dissertation: We came here for Pirate Fest, but the park itself deserves its own little standing ovation, preferably with a dramatic pirate hat tip. This place is huge, beautiful, and surprisingly impressive. It has that rare park energy where you can wander around and still feel like you have only discovered about 12 percent of it. The grounds are spacious, clean, and well kept, with plenty of room for events, families, kids, dogs, festival chaos, and people like me pretending I am "just going for a stroll" when really I am hunting for snacks. For a big event, it worked really well. There was enough open space that it did not feel like everyone was crammed together in one sweaty little patch of grass questioning their life choices. The park gives you room to breathe, walk, sit, explore, and fully commit to whatever themed event you accidentally became emotionally invested in. Overall, this is a vast, beautiful park with great event potential and plenty of space to enjoy. We came for the pirates, but the park itself was definitely part of the treasure

I honestly didn't know much about this tragedy beforehand, but I'm really grateful that this garden exists--to build awareness, offer a place for reflection and healing, and serve as a meaningful memorial honoring all the innocent lives lost. You can really feel how much care and intention went into creating this. Each life lost is honored with a tree and a small tribute area, and it appears that loved ones wrote personal messages for each individual. It was incredibly moving. Walking through the garden made us pause, reflect, and truly appreciate the time we have here on earth. It was especially heartbreaking to see how young some of the victims were--some only around 20 years old, with their whole lives ahead of them. I appreciated that you're able to walk through the space at your own pace, almost meditatively, reading about each person and seeing their photos. Each memorial area had its own unique style, reflecting the individuality of the person it honors. You can learn their age, where they were from, and a little about who they were. Overall, this is a powerful, peaceful, and beautifully done memorial. If you're in the area, I highly recommend taking the time to visit--it's a quiet reminder of loss, resilience, and the importance of compassion and remembrance.
