The reason I'm giving this rating is because of how pricey I feel it was. Perhaps I am just not used to it as I would always go with my family as a child but it was almost $19 for each of the adults. There were four of us and that price didn't include the pumpkin. You have to pay for the pumpkins separately by the pound. We were also disappointed to see that all the pumpkins were already picked and just stacked in sections on the ground. We have come to find out that is pretty normal in Texas. Overall this location has a lot to offer families but we just were underwhelmed as a group of adult friends. For their pricing: "Adults" are ages 3-64 and for individuals over the age of 65 their tickets are $14

Great time here. Kids loved it and we'll definitely be back. I do believe it's a little pricey at 18.50 a person 3 up. Quite a bit to do and friendly staff. Loved the option to pick your own flowers , that was really fun. The barrel train was fun and the kids really liked the slides as well as the adults. The kettle corn is a must

My family really enjoyed the corn maize and will be back next year. I liked the fact that they were cashless

Wow, I had never been to the Maize, and what a great time we had! At first you're thinking, omg, look at all those cars parked in the field! Yes, it is packed with families, but they really know what they're doing. The lines were long to get in but went relatively fast. Once, inside, there was so much to do and see. A variety of barbecue plates to satisfy your hunger and to quench your thirst--non alcoholic beverages and those adult beverages for the over 21 crowd. Where to start? How about a horseback ride or a slide down the huge slide? Maybe a ride on the tractor or hayride? How about checking out the pig races? Who knows how to squeal like a pig? Ah, you want to try your hand at escaping from the corn maze. Better find your way out, because you'll want to find a good seat to enjoy the fireworks show!

A decisive political statement on top of one of their attractions.

Be careful where you spend your money. They sure don't mind the cheaper labor they get to run this place in the fall.

This was a great adventure for fall time! We took our 2 and 4 years old along with some friends hound and old, and we had a great day! There was something to do for everyone. Everything was well maintained and spaced out. We didn't have any lines or waited for anything. Lots of photo stations to snap a great pic! The corn maize was great with a group with clear paths and 7/8 feet corn stalks, and fun question and answer cards to navigate you through the maze. The giant tube slides were a blast! The dairy goats were fun to feed. There were bounce pillows for the kids. The dance hall has a wonderful bathroom. There were ample hand washing stations too, loved that, especially with little ones. A great selection of pumpkins and flowers to pick. They also had pony rides and hay rides, we just didn't get that far. We had a great time and would definitely comes back again, especially for the delicious kettle corn.

Very fun place, even if you dont have kids. I was even able to bring my dog. I only did one of two corn mazes and it took us only 20 mins, but it was made for little kids so that makes sense. I liked how almost everything was included with the ticket (which was free for military --at least this past weekend, yay). The food was kind of pricey, but that's common for festivals/fairs/attractions. The French fries were really good! I also got to watch the last half of the "cowboy show", which was pretty funny.

We were greeted by the same friendly employee when I visited the prior week, and she gave us each a stamp punch card - after so many you get a freebie coffee. FYI they also serve smoothies, not posted yet, and they can make them dairy free! My friend and I shared a Rueben sandwich and chicken salad croissant. Great flavors, but for me the Rueben shined! Lots of flavor. $1 more. My decaf latte with oat milk ($2 extra) and sugar free Belgian cookie syrup was nice. The price for the oat milk was steep, I don't think I've ever paid that much extra. I may skip it next time and go for the caffeine free teas. I ordered a hippie bar and honey glazed pecans to go. I really enjoyed the hippie bar- peanut butter, gluten free oats, chia, seeds, and dried cranberries. Lots of seating inside. There's a conference room- free of charge for ministry meetings and a mic area up front. The owner stopped by our table and greeted us, I just love supporting this local fam owned business. Oh and when we visited the women's restroom... I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful sky ceiling and bird sounds. So soothing and relaxing... I felt like I was transported to a gorgeous serene garden. Big smile on my face!

At that time, there was nothing going on and nothing growing so we decided to come back around when spring was happening. So this time around, definitely more popular, more cars and people wanting to check the place out. Essentially I was expecting this to be more of a field of flowers. But, it's basically that (although there wasn't much of it yet, just some flowers to see) and garden decor, pots, gifts, wine, pickled things, plants and LOTS of wildflower seeds to plant at home. The plants, some were decently priced, most were a little pricier. Just depends on which ones. Majority of the ones we wanted were a little better price wise vs going to home depot, at least we think so! We walked around the adventure trail (since it was free) to get some steps in and have the kids burn some of their energy out while roaming around (minus my toddler, she would want to run away and fast haha so I changed my mind on that idea). The trail itself was open, spacious and a great way to get some fresh air. You can be lucky enough to catch some glimpses of some flowers that could be sprouting out even though there's not much! The shops: they had different types of store fronts, one for food/snack/pickled items alongside a small cafe where you can order beer and wine, another for more accessories, clothing and some planting items too! They had standing wine tasting area near the trail walking area if you want to walk around with some wine. Parking: so much parking, so definitely not to worry although I can image it being more difficult when the flowers really bloom in their field.

They are attached, all one building. They are really responsive! I accidentally booked a reservation for 14 instead of 13, asked for a refund, and received it within a day. We arrived 10 minutes early for our appointed tasting time, and spent it wandering around the shop. We were led to the back tasting room on time and seated with a delicious tasting set of 6 olive oils and 4 balsamic vinegars, along with some bread as a palette cleanser. Our host was very informative and each olive oil and balsamic were noticeably different. The Sicilian was a great tasting Olive Oil x Italian Herb type of feeling, and most of the olive oils had the authentic black peppery aftertaste. I ended up going home with some of the Terra Verde to share with people, as well as the fig balsamic vinegar. We ended up eating at the bistro here, too (Order-to-entree: ~25 minutes-35 minutes for the entire table of 13). The flatbread was very sharable among two people. Everyone did comment on how the olive oil notes stood out in their dishes! The prices were extremely reasonable and they set aside a long table for our large group, great service all around. Overall, we had a great experience here and would definitely recommend the tasting for a unique nonalcoholic experience in the area.

I've known that the rocky soils in the Texas Hill Country are good for wine producing, but recently learned that it is also great for making great olive oils. With many misleading brands in the grocery store, extra virgin olive oil includes a high percentage of seed oils as Texas does a poor job of regulating what the label says. As we are constantly looking for better options to prepare our foods, finding a healthy olive oil has been on our minds recently. Texas Hill Country Olive Co. is not only producing authentic oils, but is also an award winning brand for doing such. During the tasting, we not only sampled a variety of oils and balsamic vinegars they produce, but also learned the history of doing so. The 4 s, sniff, swirl, sip, and swallow was the process to get the true taste to come alive in our mouths. We ended up buying the Sicilian olive oil and Blackberry balsamic vinegar to take home, as they were our favorites. There are many to choose from, so it's worth doing the tasting. If you have an afternoon free, desire a new experience, and want to view the beautiful hill country landscape, then this may be just the trip for you.
