I go to the small claim court (CRT)consumer protection tribunal
I believe I got wrong information guide by respondent when I signed the contract,
I paid $1770 called initial payment. The people talk to me is what respondent called coordinator, not dentist. That is why I did not noticed very small printing word in a bottom of the page, "Cancellation will cause $750 fee".
In August 28 I signed the contract. After I signed the contract I ask what
time will start treatment, the coordinator said that it will be start in
next appointment, which is September 12, for 70 minutes. no scheduled for August 28 of any treatment. I went to home after I signed
the contract.
In September 5, I talked to my family dentist, I realized South Surrey Smiles's plan is over treatment, for example, they did not tell me that the baby teeth could be last very long, not two good health teethes has to be reshape and its consequences. My family dentist suggests me doing other simple way, trouble less, cost less. My family dentist referred me go to other Dentist to do that.
So, In September 5, After I met My family dentist, I phoned the South Surrey Smiles, I want to canceled the contract. the respondent refund me $1020, and charged me $750 for some treatment they serve for me which is printed in very bottom of contract paper.
The point is: I did not start any treatment. It is no impression taken by my daughter.
In August 28, before I signed the contract, the respondent did not have
permission to do treatment. after I signed the contract, I just went to
home. It is no scheduled for that day of any treatment.
It is very clear, sign contract takes time, involved lot question, after
that, my daughter is hurry go home. It is no time for both party.Do read more
