My experiences at another local dental service was most unsatisfactory. I won't get into it but it left me confused, frustrated, and anxious about my dental care. I knew I needed a second opinion and so I booked an appointment with MMD. From the moment I walked in the expereince was different. Totally professional while still being pleasantly attentive. Clearly the patient was paramount here. I didn't wait longer than 3 minutes and I was in the chair. I was assessed using what I thought was some pretty sophisticated diagnostic equipment. Everything was explained to me using the diagnostic results. The dentist, Dr. Valdes, answered every question I had and provided complete clarity about what treatment plan he advised and why. I am always impressed with the quality of professionalism and care we receive at this dental office. They listen to their patients and genuinely are interested in the best possible treatments regardless if it is in their office or another. I have dental issues and they take their time not to aggravate my ongoing problems like other offices. I can get my teeth cleaned, get dental work and Botox for my painful jaw. Best dental office I have ever been to (and I have been to a few over the years). Personable staff, dentists who thoroughly explain what they are doing before they do it, and they do it with photos (not just x-rays) - these are just some of the positive qualities of this office. Dr.Chahwan is the bomb diggity. Her staff rocks and she will fix you up great! Also as a First Nations man under coverage she handled me with informative care and speed. Keep up the good work! I don't know all of her services but approx 5 fillings a cap and invisiline plus her office set up my 3 wisdom teeth extractions and coronectomy. All done swiftly and skillfully. He explains everything you need to make your decision about procedures, gives you choices, walks you through your procedure, very exacting in his work, AND has a great sense of humor! All the staff here are very friendly and accommodating and the dentists are first class. My husband is picky and was worried when his dentist from another practice retired... the front desk is great, I have sensitive teeth and even though I have had some situations they deal with finding a solution immediately.
