Dr Ng is amazing at the PDG Delta. He sees my 6 and 4 year olds. The office itself is completely child friendly and bright. TVs on the ceiling, little sunglasses to protect their eyes etc. The hygienists are all lovely and explain things thoroughly. The dentist is friendly, shows you the xrays and explains and procedures that need to happen. I'm happy to drive out to Delta, from New West, for really good service. read more

Highest recommendation for Dr. Christian Wong and his team at PDG Delta! He helped me straighten my very crooked teeth in time for my wedding. Yes, I was an adult with braces. It is a busy office which tells me PDG is highly sought after for their dental services. There is plenty of parking as the office is part of an outdoor complex. Scheduling and re-scheduling due to my busy work schedule was a breeze with text reminders of my appointments made easy to get me to my appointments on time. Dr. Wong always greets with a friendly smile and is professional with children and adults. His goal is to get perfect smile and make it as comfortable and painless as possible. We took our children here and it seemed to be good at the time however after our routine checkup the dentists here told us our kids needed some work. This was fine, and so we asked for a quote on the work. To my shock, the quote came in at over $2500 for my 4 year old. The reasoning was they wanted to remove a couple teeth, one because it needed it and the other for "symmetric reasons". They also told us this work could not be done in their office, so we would need to pay $500 for a stay at a private hospital (cambie). The quote also included "possible fillings and sealing", which meant that they were going to fill any cavity and seal every single tooth, on all baby teeth. When we called to discuss our options, we were told it was "All or nothing" and that the dentist would "Not bother" doing ANY work if they were not doing ALL the work quoted. Needless to say, we went to another Pediatric dentist in Langley and was told our child had no fillings and sealing was not needed on baby teeth. As opposed to a $2500 quote, we paid $160 for the one tooth to be extracted. I have also heard from other parents with similar experiences. We will never go back to this place. Dear Doctor Nouri of PDG dental group. Why will you not tell me how many caviities my two sons have. You rudely say "count them yourself". Why will you not tell me why they have all these cavities.They are 5 and 7 years old and have approximately 23 cavities, many deep to the roots, absess, gum recession, teeth pulled and a upcoming life of dental pain. My oldest wants to know what the white stuff on his two adult teeth is. What should I tell him? I found out about you in 2009 and have produced my very explicit divorce order that gives my rights and responsibilies to my sons health. Four years later and still I am pushed to the side and kept from my sons information except for your sloppy notes and med speak letters.Do you have something against fathers. Why would you let Sunlife insurance keep paying tens of thousands of dollars in dental costs and not let me mitigate it or keep me abreast of the situation in simple terms? By keeping me at bay, I have now been alerted to my five year old having ten new cavities. When are you going to respect my parental rights? After my many letters and emails have gone anaswered to Dr Nouri, I am making a plea to other PDG doctors to step in and do the right thing here. read more

My 4 year old daughter required a filling that she was not able to get at our regular dentist, and they recommended we take her to a pediatric dentist. We brought her to PDG, they took some xrays and sent us over an estimate. Surprisingly, they advised that she actually needed work on 11 of her teeth and that general anesthesia would be required. The estimate did not give us an exact amount that the work would cost. When I received the preauthorization from my benefits plan, the information that had been submitted to them did not match the information on the estimate. Needless to say, I convinced my ex-husband that we needed to get a second opinion. A coworker recommended Dr Patton with Vancouver Pediatric Dental so we got the xrays sent over there and brought her in for an appointment. At the appointment - which was supposed to be just to take a look and see what was needed - they were able to fill the one tooth (no general anesthesia required) and advised us that the extra work that PDG wanted us to get done was not necessary. I will be spreading the word to everyone I know with kids to avoid PDG - and to never feel it is wrong to get a second opinion. We saved hundreds of dollars -- and my 4 year old avoided general anesthesia. read more

took my 8 year old son there after being referred by my regular dentist ,they had trouble doing the x-rays. Had some x-rays done told he needed 4 teeth capped. Unsure if he really needed them done? I was told he needed another cavity filled, so when I called back the dentist that had done the work was no longer there and I would have to pay another examination fee to get the work completed because I would need to be re assessed. I decided to go back to my regular dentist because I do not want to pay there over inflated fees. And found there was no other cavity and the x-rays that were no good to blurry to read. So I think the work done was probably not all required. There was actually an issue with the work they performed at PDG ,when I called to inform them I was told I would have to pay another examination fee. Because the Dentist that original did the work was no longer there. Talk about standing behind the work performed by there business, they are more concerned about the cash not the kids . I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO THERE THE WORST SERVICE ON THE PLANET AND THEY DO POOR QUALITY WORK,AT AN OVERINFLATED PRICE. read more
