I came to Groupon to see about finding a new massage therapist to help me my needs for stress and tension relief, especially in my back and shoulders. It was easy to schedule and to find a time that works for my schedule for my 60 minute massage. Michael immediately addressed my concerns and goals for the session. The location is connected with a chiropractic office, but very easy to find and the front desk was very friendly. The room itself was very comfortable and relaxing with a bit of a woodland/mystical theme. It was a very relaxing experience and we talked about recommendations for some of my tension. He had recommended cupping which I had not done in the past but agreed to try. Within a couple hours I can definitely feel a little more relief and look forward to continued results over the next few days. Overall, it was a great experience. My only drawback is that the 60 Minutes went by too fast! Highly recommend and plan to be back!

I recently had a relaxation hypnosis session with Jonathan at SEE Hypnosis. I was very interested…read morein seeing what Hypnosis was like, and I was surprised at how vivid the memories I had were. I remembered details I had not thought of in years! When I had the session, I was in the early stages of a migraine, and I noticed that I was able to sleep really well that night and woke up without a headache - I'm sure the relaxation helped. I am definitely interested in doing more hypnosis in the future, and as an LCSW therapist, I am considering learning to do hypnosis for my clients. What a fun experience! Thank you Jonathan!

Around October, we had a neuropsychological evaluation done by Dr. Julie. Although she was very…read morebusy, she set aside time on the weekend to help us. That for us for already a good sign. Our son, who has found it difficult to communicate in general, opened up to Dr.Julie very easily. The result of the evaluation not only helped us make the appropriate educational decisions for our son, but also finally got to the bottom of what our son needed. We had consulted with many professionals about our son's fatigue (even his psychiatrist and doctor could not figure out why he was always so exhausted), but Dr. Julie was the ONLY one who recommended a sleep study. In fact, it was this sleep study that revealed he had sleep apnea, which only worsened his sensory issues, fatigue and ADHD related symptoms. A CPAP mask should help alleviate his fatigue, which is such a relief! Dr. Julie is not only highly competent, but she is also kind, compassionate and thorough. We are grateful for Dr. Julie's help!

I could use a lot of words but here's the short version: I don't give trust lightly. I…read moreunreservedly trust Dr. Barta with my life. Okay I will start by saying I did not finish the in patient portion of this program. I decided I…read morewas misplaced and am planning on doing out patient. I checked myself out today after 1 of the 4 weeks completed. I read a lot of the reviews posted and can say my experience is not of that of these 1 star reviews. Now I would like to start off with all positive things. Pros: 1 food excellent 2 caring and sincere staff 3 targeted therapy taylored toward your unique trauma and situation. 4 safe and clean environment. 5 respect given to all needs and privacy within reason. 6 propper facilities and hygiene stuff. Cons: 1 carpet is old but commercial last forever (really didn't bother me) 2 mattress absolute garbage. Warn out and spring style. (Really did bother me but I'm kinda a mattress snob) 3 I felt cornered when I voiced that I wanted to leave, felt they just would not hear it. Continually pressuring me to stay, Which almost envoked violence (had to raise voice and get shitty and I don't like to). I was circled by 2 staff members and 2 patients and grilled for about 15 min on why I should stay. Now, I do not have a superiority complex. When you know your not in the right place you know. I own a home here in Tacoma, have things that I underestimated would run on auto pilot while I was away. I felt I could get the same amount of therapy and sleep in my bed with my dog through out patient. So I think more care should be taken at assessment when choosing if a patient is indeed in need of "IN" patient. I volunteered to do the live in, don't get me wrong. If more digging in to my living situation was done I feel we could have agreed on an outpatient formula which I am planning to start with them tommorow.(Will update review when I graduate that). One question I didn't get an answer to (but we all know the answer) was to my counselor, "Has there ever been one person over assessed and enter in patient therapy when outpatient was satisfactory?". Now I've ran businesses and I understand empty beds don't pay the bills. All and all this was a good experience. They let me go (when I got shitty and a lil loud which I later apologized for). Staff is very caring and related to my situation with empathy. I'm sober AF and staying that way. Thank you prosperity.

The food was great and is made with love by the lovely kitchen staff, Justin and Corbin. There was honestly only one staff that I had any type of issue with, and she was higher up the chain so I didn't have to see her every day. I made friendships that I hope will last a very long time. I'm at 48 days today, thanks to my incredible family and friends, and prosperity wellness center. Would recommend.

I went to this facility with high hopes of getting my depression and anxiety managed - it has been…read morea problem for years. I started therapy with TMS - at first it worked, but when switched to the other side of my head, it made things went wrong. I became wildly suicidal and my depression got much worse. I understand that nothing is perfect, but my objection here was that you see very little of the DR. I told the assistant what was going on, and got a "well, sometimes this happens." The Dr should have been alerted that instant. The Dr. needs to be more involved, I felt as though getting new patients was more important than the seeing existing patients. The problems this created are still with me today. I do not recommend this because of that risk

don't let my rating fool you into thinking this is a bad place. I've been seen there for around 4…read moremonths at the time of this writing and this was in regards to medication management. my service provider has been very helpful, extremely knowledgeable as well as clear and concise in our dealings. why the low rating? it's all in regards to billing and payment. during the initial paperwork for intake I read the whole thing through and found that it stated they'd be keeping a credit/debit card on file and would bill services immediately, without any contact or providing a receipt. I get that no one wants to be left swinging in the breeze without payment but, this has bothered me every time it's come up. I've elected to pay cash with this business and they don't seem to have an immediate problem with that but, here it comes.... when they call to say your bill come to "insert amount here" and can we please have a card number to get it taken care of. I decline and say I'll bring cash over. then I get asked, "will that be today or at your next appointment?" and followed up with I'll add a note to your account. also, my insurance tends to take a few weeks to get the bill through the system and let the provider know what they can charge. this place has collected from me before that process has been completed. all of this just seems odd to me. if it weren't for the incredible interactions with my service provider I'd be going elsewhere because of the billing.

I had been looking for an EMDR therapist for some time and finally came across this company. When I…read morewas making my appointment I was told that if I wanted a female therapist I would have to wait much longer to see one. I honestly couldn't wait as I was dealing with the loss of my son and needed help badly, I just needed someone who could help me. Here we are over six months into my therapy and so much has changed. When I originally came in I had a list of things that I felt I needed addressed, and then we finished the first target of therapy. Something happened that I wasn't expecting. So many layers of my onion brain were slowly being peeled back and unfolding. I could not have made it this far without the help of my therapist James Truesdell. He has a soft, patient tone that is so comforting and easy during your healing process. He made me feel safe every time and was always concerned about my overall well being. I would see him time and time again, highly recommend.
