We stop by South Side Coffee every year we are in Lonpic for AIDS/Lifecycle. The coffee, fancy-smancy toasts, and service is always top-rate. For this final AIDS lifecycle ride (), we had the almond milk lattes, which are delish as always. They use unsweetened almond milk so you can add sweetener to your taste. I had the pesto fancy-smanchie toast and it's sooooo good! Comes on a lovely multi-grain bread with not-to-much cream cheese, pesto (of course!), tomatoes, arugula, and two perfectly cooked soft-boiled eggs. My friend had the breakfast toast without the bacon, but comes with eggs, cheddar, and avocado. She said it was yum! She also had a yogurt parfait with berries. If you are in Lompoc--stop by! And support the local artists who sell goods on the honor system using Venmo and PayPal to accept your payment.

South Side Coffee is hands down one of my favorite spots in town. The coffee is always great, and their breakfast sandwiches are delicious. I also love that they have energy drinks and other options besides coffee--it's a nice change-up when I want something different. The upstairs area is cozy and open, such a perfect spot to hang out or get a little work done. What really makes this place stand out, though, are the people. The employees are super friendly, and they often remember your name, which makes it feel extra welcoming. It's such a great little coffee shop with a true small-town community vibe. Way better than the big chain alternatives; it has character and heart.

Matcha latte with lavender cold foam!!

I had Southside Coffee bookmarked for a while, since I live near Lompoc, but just got around to coming! The first thing I noted about the menu was how many options there are. I love the various flavors available. Naturally I needed a little bit of guidance so I asked the cashier for some and she was really nice and helpful. I ended up opting for a matcha latte and added lavender cold foam (I believe the cold foam is seasonal!) and a simple breakfast sandwich on a plain bagel. I sat at a nearby table and my drink came out a couple of minutes later. I sipped on it for a bit while waiting for my bagel. It was so delicious! I'm a fan of lavender drinks and the cold foam definitely hit the mark. The matcha isn't sweet but it wasn't bitter. I tend to order matcha lattes without syrup anyway so paired with the cold foam it was a perfect balance -- not too sweet! After a few minutes, my bagel sandwich came out. It was really good! It was hot and fresh. It came with some hot sauce packets so it was everything I could've asked for. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and will definitely be back!

I was pretty surprised when I walked into South Side Coffee. I rarely ever make the trip to downtown Lompoc unless I REALLY have to. Unfortunately, Cups and Crumbs are closed until further notice, so I had to find myself another coffee shop to pick up my daily dose of caffeine. The store is SO cute and cozy. It was definitely not what I was expecting before I walked in. The workers were very friendly and helped me with my order. The food was surprisingly very tasty! I really liked how crispy the bacon was on my avocado toast

    Hot chocolate before sky diving!

This place is wayyyyy cute! We came up to Lompoc from Santa Barbara for sky diving and had some time to kill so we looked up coffee shops in the area and found this place! Simply put, it's magical It's homey, comfy, friendly, had that perfect coffee shop ambience, and great prices. We sat upstairs in the little nook with tables, sofas and windows and enjoyed some hot chocolate, which was deliciously chocolaty by the way. We brought our own food for breakfast since we were expecting to eat real quick before the jump, but then when we came in we couldn't resist all the goodies and pastries. I wish I could take this place back with me to where we live so I could come here regularly to work on papers, hang with friends, play cards with my boo or just enjoy a good cup of Joe and relax.

Super cute and cozy place with a huge menu - all sorts of coffees and teas you can imagine. Charming interior with many tables and even an upstairs cove with a few tables. Great place for a relaxing break or get together with friends!

Met up here yesterday for a meeting and it was the perfect spot for a gathering! The parking was a little challenging, but it was definitely a busy Saturday morning. They have seating options inside and outside. Their menu is pretty extensive and they even had seasonal items. The iced matcha was delicious. Food is brought out to your table, if eating in. I'm a big fan of this spot!

South Side Coffee Co was a cute shop where I was able to have a light breakfast and work on my homework. I loved the atmosphere. Very cute, quaint, and colorful. I would've loved for the food menu to be up on the board as well. I felt a little panicked when I got to the register because I didn't want to hold up the line while I decided on what food I wanted. Overall, I really enjoyed this coffee shop. I love supporting local businesses over chains, so I'll definitely be back to work on more homework in the future!

Great local spot with a fun atmosphere. Perfect alternative to the big corporate chains, and they make great drinks.

I'm not sure how long this little hidden gem has been open but I'm upset that I have not tried this…read moresooner. Hands down best gyoza I have ever had. It is just how I like it. The chicken bento box is also unlike any other fried chicken I've ever had. You can tell it is homemade and the spices set it apart from any other fried chicken around town. This also happens to be where I discovered my favorite boba tea. This has instantly become my favorite gyoza/boba restaurant. The portions are very generous and you will not be disappointed with the quality of food here.

I have no idea how this place has more than 2 stars. I have…read moretwo littles and decided to stop by on our way home rather than go to the other side of town to our usual spot. At first impression I should have known- it was lunch time and empty- you have to self order and navigate their kiosk- no help with two kids and still ask for a tip. There was one younger girl with dark hair in the cluttered kitchen/drink area who didn't even acknowledge us- just went to the back and started rummaging. A second lady showed up and started preparing our sushi order. At that point I noticed the dirty tables and lack of service so decided to change my order "to go." I stood there trying to get their attention and was finally acknowledged. The lady who seemed to be in charge was handing out cash to another younger lady who came in (weird asf too). I finally get my order and bring it home. The nigiri was poorly cut- but edible. My poke bowl had a small amount of tuna that tasted sour and has signs of cooking through citrus, imitation crab, and seaweed salad (extra cost), then I see a whole romaine end, browning and cut up under that making the bulk of the bowl, followed by rice. Nothing like the picture at the kiosk. Then as I try to mix things up for a bite (I am starving at this point) I see a dark black hair. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed and unable to eat my food. I called to let them know and the younger lady who was there said she would let the owner know after sitting down and looking at all the food that was wasted. I decided to call back and ask for a refund. At that point, the younger lady kept repeating what I was saying, as she was relaying the information to what sounded like to be the owner. She told her to tell me that I needed to go back with the food. I let her know that I was unable to do that right now as I had two little kids who needed to nap- that's why I came home. She said she couldn't do a refund- until I went there with the food and my card. I was also told to refrigerate this food- are they going to use it?!? Smh. Ultimately I am out $40, and no lunch. I will never return or recommend to anyone. I'm thinking the reviews are for the teas- which I didn't try.
