I had great vanilla lattes, cappuccino, breakfast bagel etc. Service is very very friendly and fair prices (I live in berkeley so everything costs more). I would gladly return and would suggest that all employees cover their nose especially if preparing food. Like that there are games and comfy indoor seating for when I feel that I can do that comfortably. Otherwise they have wonderful outdoor seating. read more

Love this Coffee Shop ! I only try to go to local shops and never Starbucks or chains .They have great coffee drinks and teas and have a iced coffee flight ( or something like that ), its like a little flight you can buy .All kinds of toast and avocado toasts ,bagels ,quiche, etc and yummy pastries that seem good quality or fresh baked. Came from Los Angeles to visit a relative. We wanted an American breakfast and decided to stop by. It was a total of 8 of us and the breakfast was amazing, everything is organic and the taste of the food was delicious. We will definitely come back here for breakfast. Must try this place. read more

Went to southside to buy gift cards (2nd time) and the bored response from employee for the second time was, "we don't have any" So now I have to go to Starbucks or Dutch Brothers to get these for my class. Very welcoming atmosphere and customer service. The vibe of this place is very chiqu and unique. Plenty of spots to sit inside and out. If you're lucky, you may get a live band to be playing while you enjoy the outdoors (that's what happened when we were there). If you bring your kids, you can sit outside and they can entertain themselves with some chalk while the adults catch up and enjoy some "them time". Not a whole lot of food options, but the bagels did look good. But don't worry there are SOOOO many amazing options to drink. Great hometown coffee shop smack in the middle of Old Town. Great dark roast coffee "Lompoc Blast" easily beats Starbucks and Dutch Bros. BEWARE OF THE BREAKFAST BURRITO. I stopped by the other morning to grab a breakfast burrito. It contained chorizo, eggs, cheese and potatoes. When they told me it would only be 5 minutes I got a little worried. When I arrived the cashier said they were bagging it up right now. I sat down for a second and glanced over and saw one of the workers pulling the burrito out of the microwave!!! When I got home I opened it up and the paper was stuck to the tortilla from being microwaved. The tortilla was also hard as you would expect from a frozen microwaveable burrito. The menu said it was a warm fluffy tortilla. This was a lie. When I took the first bite it was super greasy. Very dissapointed in what I got for $9. These aren't made to order, they are pre made then microwaved. Worst breakfast burrito I have ever had in my life. I for one do not like to pay to have my tastebuds assaulted. read more

This place is so nice and great! You'll find it on one of the main streets (S H St.) and close to a free parking lot (for those on the road!). Excellent service, clean and really fresh with a lot to order! It doesn't take that long to get your food and it's really good! I bought oat meal, scrambled eggs, bagel with cream cheese and coffee with soy milk! It was delicious!! The scrambled eggs came with a really nice side salsa!! They have good food and drinks. Sometimes the orders take a very long time so don't go if you are in a hurry. The avocado toast is good but very expensive for what you get. It's over $12 for one piece of sourdough toast with a very thin layer of avocado spread on it and a couple of sliced cherry tomatoes. read more

As you walk into Southside, the entry way opens into a spacious interior that still gives off a cozy, home-like atmosphere. The soft lighting makes this a perfect spot for a friendly meet up or settling down to do some work. I grabbed a bagel egg sandwich and chai latte with vanilla for breakfast. Both were delicious! Their signature pesto mayo really makes the sandwiches, and I say that as one who usually asks to forgo any kind of mayo. I only wish they were open later into the day (3:30pm closing). read more

Not only do they have a variety of beverages and pastries, but they also sell super cool local art and support small businesses by selling their goods at their shop. Love this spot! Wish I had found it earlier, glad I found it eventually. It's a hop, skip and a jump from my oil change place so I can kill time while enjoying, an eclectic environment serving yummy sandwiches, great coffee and one of all time faves, Italian soda. Customer service is lovely and there are so many seating options for the academically inclined loner, family oriented stroller pusher, or the old friend coffee drinkers. They showcase and sell local artists' pieces that add to the decor and ambiance. I ordered the $4.25 breakfast wrap off the menu. The cashier asked me what I want in it and rattled off some options i.e ham, cheese, avocado. I told her to choose for me since this was my first time coming here in years. She did and charged me $7.21 instead of the advertised $4.25. (I wish she would have told me about extra charges). I then watched another person make the food and was disgusted when I saw her cook everything in the microwave. Ham, cheese, eggs, even the tortilla was warmed up in the microwave. Community focus with full bulletin board and wall with posters. Shelf with games and books, fun! Convenient downtown Lompoc location. Next to a record/music store and little park. I think there is an antique mall nearby too. This a good launching off / wind down spot before/ after mural viewing ( Lompoc has a bunch of building walls with vibrant, excellent, murals, some depicting local history), and wine tasting. Ah, nothing is perfect in life is it? Sadly their coffee, (to me), is not good. The roasting process is not masterly and coffee tastes burnt and bitter. I really hope they get a new roaster! Fun spot, lots of coffee and food choices. Cool interior and funky wall art. The drip coffee was really good and cheap. They make massive sandwiches and plenty of seating options and a fun balcony upstairs. Not great for big groups over six people as seating is varied and not the kind of place I felt like moving tables around a ton in, but less than that, perfect!
