During the holidays Bates Turkey Farm sells turkeys with all the sides, hams and more. Years ago…read morewhen George Herbert Walker Bush was President, I remember him saying on the evening news his family always enjoyed a Thanksgiving turkey from Bates. That's how I found out about Bates House of Turkey. I ordered a smoked turkey years ago and it was phenomenal. I decided to look up Bates House of Turkey last November. They were sold out of turkeys for Thanksgiving. They had hams on sale and I bought 8 hams I sent to friends for Christmas presents. Those hams were delicious! They were delivered on time so they could be the Christmas meal should my friends choose ham for the main course. I ordered a turkey breast that we enjoyed. It was very delicious. I thought I took a picture of the Thanksgiving feast but I can't find any. If you are in the market for a ham for Easter or turkey with sides, please consider checking out Bates House of Turkey. They have excellent foods. Once when I was headed down I-65, on the right side of the interstate there is a Bates House of Turkey restaurant. I didn't have time to dine in so I purchased a turkey sandwich to go. That was the best tasting turkey sandwich. When I was headed back north, I hoped the Bates House of Turkey restaurant would be open but it wasn't. I still remember how good that turkey sandwich was. Please consider choosing Bates House of Turkey for your Easter ham. Their foods are great! 5/5
