Absolutely gorgeous!

This is a must see when visiting this area of TN. It's kind of an unknown gem and worth checking out. The views are incredible and it's hard to put into words how peaceful it it. Breathtaking

The staff was very helpful and attentive to our needs and went out of their way to make this an enjoyable day for us. In terms of accessibility, be warned that there is a VERY steep incline down to the dock from the parking area, and even from the unloading area. Staff provided yeoman's assistance to get my wife's wheelchair down to the dock, but we elected to drop her off at a nearby dock and driving one of our cars to pick her up there to avoid having to push her back up that incline, which was difficult enough for 3 out of shape 69 year old men to climb without a wheelchair to push. That said, everything else about the outing was excellent. Thanks to the group for giving us an outstanding day! The boat was just as advertised!

They used an ATV to take us and all our things to the dock and even loaded the pontoon boat for us. This was not expected but very much appreciated. Lake Douglas is a beautiful lake with nice coves. We had the perfect day and can't wait to rent a boat again with Smoky Mountain Lake Adventures and we highly recommend them!!

Due to an issue with another local canoe rental company, we stumbled upon Riverside Canoe & Tube…read moreRental. It was a true blessing in disguise as it turned out to be an incredible experience. The Owner's were welcoming, informative, and just plain nice! They told us what to expect on the trip, gave us locations to stop the canoe's so we could get out and swim and even gave us a few warning areas. The canoe ride (5 mile trip) was pure bliss and a great way to disconnect from the real world. They bus you to a drop off spot and then you canoe back to their office and where your car is located. Their closing time states 5 but the Owner mentioned that they are open as long as the last boat is still out and if you aren't back by 6, they will come looking for us. The conversation was great and all of their workers showed a true enjoyment to help others, all willingly open to questions and conversation. I would recommend this place to anyone asking. It is a bit further than some other rental companies, but the drive to that location was amazing, scenes were breath taking and I would drive even further to visit Riverside if I had to. Also, they are MUCH cheaper than the other rental company and have better customer service.

This wasn't just a rafting trip, it was one of the most fun days we've had in a long time. Honestly, it felt like spending the day at an amusement park, except there were no long lines, no concrete, no crowds... just an incredible river, beautiful scenery, and a whole lot more excitement than we expected. From the moment we arrived, everything was organized, professional, and friendly. The guides were outstanding. They struck the perfect balance between making everyone feel safe and keeping the trip fun and entertaining. You could tell they genuinely love what they do. The Nolichucky Gorge is absolutely gorgeous. Between the rapids, calm stretches, and mountain scenery, we couldn't stop smiling. It was adventure without feeling intimidating. As for value, I honestly don't know of many experiences that give you this much fun for the money. If you're looking for something different to do with your spouse, family, or friends, this is it. We left exhausted, soaked, laughing, and already talking about coming back. Five stars isn't enough. High Mountain Expeditions earned lifelong customers, and I'll be recommending them to anyone looking for an unforgettable outdoor adventure.

We had a 2p appointment and actually got into the water a little early; it was overcast that day and not crowded. We stayed several weeks back during a holiday weekend (towards the end) all camp spots on the app were booked or closed due to dead trees and storms. We drove in and found a spot on the water side.. I'm impressed with these camping areas friendly folks and quiet!!!! Unbelievably quiet! Than once I realized you can walk around the WHOLE lake!! How cool is that! Just an awesome place! And we live here!!! I've drove by. I've drove through. I've dropped the kids for events here. But I've never experienced the park myself! I'm now hooked! You can be there and not really understand that there quite possibly is 1000's of people around you.. not really noticeable.. pretty awesome.. there's places to go and not far from you where there will be nobody! It's quite amazing!! I like to feel alone and this place works!!! Campsites are perfectly private and spaced as such! Love this place!

No test ride, didn't show me a thing on boat, and didn't even help me hook trailer to my truck. They offered no extras to make my boat lake ready other than cheap life jackets. They told me they would register my engine for me with Yamaha for warranty, that NEVER happened. I had to get service at another marina and they discovered that the salesman at Rockingham lied to me as it never was registered. Not being very wise, and being the nice guy I am, I thought I would give them another chance on maybe trading my boat that I purchased from them new; boy what a mistake! The salesman said he just moved here form out of state and he said he knew no prices. I asked him to just look up some prices for me and give me a call back, to no surprise I never got a call. He treated me and my wife like we had no money and he didn't have time for us. I guess our car was not nice enough for him to say these people can afford a boat, even though I had told him I had purchased a new boat just two years ago from Rockingham. Oh yea, might I mention also that I was not driving POS, My car is only two years old and a high end model of a not cheap brand. This was by far my worst shopping experience ever! Not sad for him or Rockingham Marina, I purchased a $94,000.00 boat from a much nicer and caring marina/boat dealership. I hope my experience will help others.
