It was as if it was cracked already and the tag was just enough to hold things together. I stopped by today to explain what happened and exchange the pipe, It cost $25 and obviously had not been used. The staff there was helpful and called their boss to find out the policy on exchanges and was informed that they do not accept returns or exchanges on any glass items. I was floored, so the policy at Area 51 is if you buy any glass item without giving it a professional inspection before you leave, " Oh well customer, don't come back if you notice a chip on it or it falls apart on you! ". That's bad business, especially in a small community, word tends to travel fast. BP gas station at Red Lane and Anderson Hwy sells the same pipes and stuff for half the price with no hassles. Being a retired fireman, a military veteran and a small business owner I'm used to excellent customer service and things being done fairly and professionally. Selling customers products that are inferior and broken and then to say "To Bad" when they return an item says a lot about the integrity of a company and the policies put in place.

Since this is a college town, I'm not shocked. They have a lounge where you can sit and smoke if you want, which is awesome to find. Since we were just passing through I didn't stay.
