I had a really frustrating experience trying to book a simple massage appointment here. The…read morereceptionist could barely understand anything I was saying, which made the entire process way more difficult than it needed to be. Somehow, she even entered my name into the system as "Ham," which should give you an idea of how off the communication was. What should have been a quick phone call turned into nearly 20 minutes of me repeating myself just to get a basic appointment scheduled. On top of that, she couldn't explain any of the services, pricing, or options available--so I was left completely in the dark. Overall, the customer service was extremely disappointing. If booking an appointment is this stressful, I can't imagine the rest of the experience being much better. I've been here before and the girls that were doing the services were great. But they definitely need to reconsider that receptionist they have.

I've been to a few different Hand and Stones over the years, was even a member for a long time…read more This was my first visit at this location and it was pretty good. I did both a massage and facial. My friend recommended Sarah for my massage, who was very good. I added on the essential oils which made for a relaxing addition. Afterwards I returned to the lobby to wait for my facial-- this to me could have been a better experience. I feel like a room in the back would have been better because going back to the busy lobby made me kind of come out of that relaxing zone. Plus, it didn't seem like my esthetician even knew I had an appt beforehand, which I think would have just made more sense. But anyway, my facial was not something I would have chosen for myself as I've never been a big fan of them. It has been probably at least 15 years since I'd had one because I have very sensitive skin. I tried to explain this to my person (forgot her name) and it felt like she was taken aback by it. The facial started out feeling like a sales pitch, which I didn't like. The facial itself was mostly relaxing as they include some massage in it. However, I would have liked to know a bit more about what they were putting on my face because many times it was burning but I figured maybe it should feel that way. I'm going to wait to see how my skin reacts to this facial before I book another and possibly try to book with someone that knows sensitive skin.

I also booked a facial because I had extra credits to use. I enjoyed the facial until I went to check out. The girl had discussed what she was going to do due to a little razor stubble, I said OK. She never said it was an upcharge much less 2 credits ($159.98) extra for not one minute extra time. So my facial was $239.97 for a 50 minute facial and that was because I have a membership. I was shocked when I went to sign out and they asked how I wanted to pay for the extras, I asked what extras. They said she did 2 things I don't know what they were. I feel I was ripped off for extras that I was not told were an extra charge. BEWARE.
