She was very patient since I had extra long dark black hair with a previous grown out balayage. Alicia worked fast and has 10 years of experience. She has a great sense of humor and is easy to talk to. I loved the vibe of the cute salon and the fact they had a white back drop with great lighting to take photos! TIP: When I used the yelp GPS link it sent me across the street to a different plaza and I had to call to ask where they were located. They're located right behind the 7/11 next to race trac. One tip they said is to find their salon via google maps instead of using the yelp link.

I was very relaxed from the moment I arrived on property seeing a beautiful and serene courtyard with a fountain. The spa itself has a no shoes policy (thank you!) so shoes are removed upon entry and the place smelled like lavender ! Milena was my massage therapist and she was very attentive to my body's needs and trouble spots and educated me on how I can help relieve tension at home. She did a total body massage including facial/jaw (I have jaw clenching and tmj issues) which was AMAZING. She also used gentle cups to help relieve some of the more difficult areas with knots and I left feeling like I was on cloud 9! I was offered a delicious and beautiful valentines cupcake on my way out with water which was a nice treat. Milena was so generous and even gave me a cup to bring home!! (Thank youuu!) This Spa also offers Pilates training and other salon treatments. Booking online was easy and fast and communication was great. I was given a discount for being a celebration resident, which was a nice benefit! There is side street parking and the building is very easy to find on GPS. I have complained about it before... long before the merge and many other customers apparently have as well, yet nothing seems to improve. Even some staff members have acknowledged that customers frequently complain about the weak beds and overdue bulb replacements. Despite this, the prices remain the same. If you're paying for a tanning membership, you should expect properly maintained equipment and consistent results. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience at this location.

I flew in from California, got sprayed by Lauren when I arrived, then decided I needed a fresh glow before heading to Miami for my cruise. Enter Lisa! Lauren was out of town, but Lisa swooped in like the tanning fairy goddess she is. She had literally just gotten home from her own vacation, I don't even think she'd made it home yet, and still squeezed me into her schedule before my long drive. That kind of customer service is impossible to find. Lisa was every bit as amazing as Lauren. My tan is flawless, natural, streak free, and has me looking like I actually spend my life on a yacht instead of surviving airport layovers. She made the whole experience so comfortable and easy. These ladies don't just give incredible spray tans, they genuinely care about their clients. If you're debating where to go, STOP LOOKING. Southern Tan is absolutely worth it, and I'll definitely be back the next time Florida calls my name!

For the price of it, I expected at least a paraffin treatment if not a shoulder or hand massage. NOTHING. She didn't even talk me through the stesp so I had to ask what she was doing. Very disappointing and wickedly overpriced. The pedi was very lackluster well - the polish was caked on so much that it took 15+ hours to dry - I waited for 45 minutes to leave for fear of smudging it because it was so taky still. Read old polish that needed to seriously be thinned out. Additionally, it smudged 10 hours later while I was in bed. Save your money and go someplace else. And tip included was a good thing for them because it would have been FAR FAR FAR FAR FAR less than 20%. Total ripoff.
