After the technician followed alternate directions from a telephone help center, I was notified they weren't going to honor the warranty and charged me $179.00. The WiFi module disconnected from my home WiFi less than 48 hours later. Mobilelink know their modules are generally defective, but Generac doesn't honor their warranty for parts or labor. Gulf Shores Electrical should have specified that nothing was covered and they were going to charge me for something that wouldn't last two days. Caveat Emptor when you call them.

I was out of town so these guys were called in to fix it. They charged $377.00. I later found out that the switch is a $50.00 item and is a plugin. They did not even have to remove a screw to install it. Then when we got back in town the switch had come loose from its mount so I called them in to repair it. While working on the switch they broke the one they had installed but said that it was not under warranty since it had been more than 90 days. They wanted to get me for another $377.00 I am sure, but I said no and repaired it myself, which is how I know that the switch costs $50.00 and is just a plugin. They just gouge their customers. Don't call this place!

What is so amazing is that 29 years ago, my wife had just given birth, and we contacted them once again on the 4th of July; however, that time our air condition unit went out. If you live in Florida, you already know how hot a home will get without any AC. This company sent a technician out and saw that we had a newborn and was determined not to leave until he had us up and running again. That repair even had the technician in our attic which had to be over 100 degrees at the time and yet, he was not deterred in anyway.
