Dr. O'Neil is amazing. I had been through a recent painful ordeal with new onset TMJ. I had been to several ER's due to excruciating pain and had been "blown off" and told that it was sinusitis. When I first met him, he was willing to listen to my issues and my story as well as offer s solution. I can't say enough great things about the entire office, staff and the way all the patients are treated: Respectfully, kindly and with compassion! Love this office!!! read more

If you're like me, it's difficult to make a decision on dental care, or medical care in general. There's so many options, and many friends and family willing to give opinions on their experiences. Which is helpful, but doesn't always pan out for my needs or the needs of my family. I didn't grow up in the Mobile area. This team has an office in Mobile, and an office in Daphne, which first appealed to me as well as the fact they are in my insurance network. I grew up being self concious about my smile. I had an overbite, and the teeth that were visible during my smile weren't straight. I never had braces, and although I had a good dental provider, the solution was to extract teeth over what my family could afford for proper correction. My youngest son inherited my genes in the teeth department. At 37 years old, and when my son turned 14, it was time on the advice of my new local dentist to have a consultation........I was nervous, but excited for my son. I felt if it came to a financial decision, I would at least be able to sacrifice my own goal, for him to enjoy life with a better smile. It didn't hurt to ask I thought. We started care with a good orthodontist, who ended up retiring early into our treatment. This prompted our search which brought us to SAL Ortho. I regret not starting our treatment with Dr. Langley, Dr. McDuffie, and Dr. O'Neil. This team, and thier staff are incredible. The associates are more than friendly, the embrace you as family. The Doctors are more than experts, they bring professionalism to a whole new level. Each Doctor is meticulous in the treatment, and educate patients on exactly what they are doing, what they have planned, and how they are going to give you the greatest smile you could ever imagine. I was thrilled for my son, but when I saw how affordable, and how Dr. Langley had a specific plan to give me a smile I always thought wouldn't be possible, I was ready to commit. My oldest son just learned he would need treatment, and there was never a doubt who we would consult. Today, my youngest son and I had our braces removed, and we signed up my oldest son to begin his journey. For anyone who has ever considered cosmetic dentistry, but thought it was too late, or too expensive, or if you have a child who may need to consider treatment, you owe it to yourself and your child to enlist the services of the best team in South Alabama. Don't wait another day, week, year......time ticks on, and the only thing that grows is your regret that you didn't do it sooner. While traveling through the area, my retainer came unglued and started poking the roof of my mouth. I called several orthodontic offices, and Strickland Orthodontics was the only one able to get me in the same day. Dr. Grissom examined the retainer, reattached it at no charge, and let me know she had concerns about how it had originally been placed. She encouraged me to return if I continued having issues. Sure enough, within 24 hours the other side came loose. I called back and was seen the very next day. They removed the retainer and fitted me for a new one. Knowing we were only in the area temporarily, the team expedited the process. After Dr. Grissom went on maternity leave, Dr. Stephen Strickland stepped in and was able to place my new retainer in less than two weeks. The entire team went above and beyond for someone who wasn't originally their patient. Everyone was incredibly accommodating, professional, and caring. A special shoutout to Megan and Carley in the Spanish Fort office. They made every visit enjoyable and were an absolute hoot! Ryan (may not have spelled it correctly?) looked into it and even called our insurance company to get to the bottom of it, and issued us a refund check for the difference within a week. Dr. Bennett and his staff still impress me with every visit. I see a different person (tech? assistant?) for my tightening each time I'm there, but they are always very nice and gentle with my mouth and always ask me if anything is poking me or needs adjusting before sending me on my way. Of course Dr. Bennett is the one who tells them what to do and checks me before and after, and asks if I'm satisfied with my progress so far. (I am!) However, Dr…read more Grantham found a crack in one of my teeth and was really concerned about some upcoming orthopedic surgery I had planned. He said my cracked tooth would keep me from being ready for my hip replacement due to the risk of infection, etc. So he quickly made an early morning appointment for me for just a few days later. He extracted the tooth and I didn't feel anything! I never was sore or swollen. Of course, my face was numb for a few hours but other than that I had no problems whatsoever. He did a great job. I have used him for many years and will stick with him forever as long as he practices. I highly recommend him and his wonderful staff. They are superb.

But I did notice a project print in the corner where they will be building and moving to a new building. I've never used this dentist but my husband had a tooth he needed pulled. We sat and watched Matlock while we waited for his medicine to kick in. Free coffee and waters were available in the lobby. A lot of dentists will refuse to pull them and send you to an oral surgeon but Grantham did a great job. The staff is what really won me over. They were kind, caring and in a great mood. You just couldn't talk to them without smiling. Dr. Grantham took great care of my husband and gave incredible instructions on how to care for him. They even sent us home with a little care package with gauze and chicken noodle soup. The Gatorade they gave my husband after his sedation was "the best Gatorade he ever had." It was a new flavor, Intense Blue Cherry and I couldn't find it anywhere. I called the office and the sweet nurses told me exactly where I could buy it. I HIGHLY recommend this office and will definitely be returning.
