The front desk staff checks me in and greets me immediately upon my arrival. When I had braces, it was explained to me how to care for them and after they were taken off how to care for my retainer. With locations in several surrounding towns or cities it is convenient to make appointments that suite my needs. I highly recommend Glass Orthodontics.

I got braces (not from this company) and didn't wear my retainer like I should've. In 2020 I went…read morehere to see what could be done about the tiny space between my two front teeth. they made me a special retainer that would push my teeth together and it worked perfectly, I wore it for a few weeks then came back to get it replaced with a permanent retainer. Less than a week later the wire falls off while I'm chewing gum or sucking on a jolly rancher I don't remember exactly but I do know it was something minuscule. I don't go back but I continue to wear the retainer they made me and it works great for 4 years. 4 years later (last month to be exact) I go back because my retainer is no longer working as well as it used to. I thought they would make me a new one since the one I have is old and I was told by my regular dentist they needed to be replaced every 2 years or so. When I tell the girl how the permanent retainer fell off after barely a week she tells me "well you're not supposed to eat chew gum or hard candy" (that's not true but ok) and the other doctor (not glass) grabs my old worn out retainer, burns a pair of tweezers and quickly without much effort or thought molds new bridges on the retainer not on the same spot they were originally printed on. I wear the retainer for a week and as the days go by I feel my right tooth is now shifted at the bottom, making it seem like one tooth is slightly longer than the other. I go back and I tell the same first girl this and she looks at them and says "looks fine to me". I felt maybe it was in my head it's not noticeable oh well and she puts in the permanent retainer... after a week or so I can't help but notice that my smile IS VERY DIFFERENT and it wasn't until I showed pictures to my friends and family and they all agreed "no your teeth shifted" that I feel I was right to doubt their work. I immediately make an appointment. I just got back from said appointment. I walk in and Mr Glass himself is assisting me, I tell him that the other doctor made my retainer shift my tooth and I need the top of it to be pushed towards the center to even it out again. Mr Glenn Glass tells me "ok here what we're going to do super quick and easy fix, I'm going to SHAVE DOWN YOUR THE OTHER TOOTH to even it out" I tell him "no, I don't want my teeth shaved" he argues with me trying to convince me that's my best option and I tell him "sir your not going near my teeth with a drill, your partner made my perfectly shaped teeth crooked and now you want to "fix it" by shaving them down?" He gets offended and says "well fine, if that's what you want, I guess you must know how to do my job better than me" and I said "yeah..." cause i wasn't going to disagree but I was trying to hold back on losing my cool. He then tells me I need Invisalign (which happens to be the most expensive option funny enough). He janks out my retainer and shaves down the glue, pokes a hole in my gums with the drill and doesn't even remove all the glue. One of the assistants takes pictures of my teeth for 5 minutes while I try to hold in my tears. Then the insurance lady goes over the pricing and prints out pictures of my teeth, "you have a very beautiful smile" she said. I respond back "yeah I used to" I've been sitting in my car crying in pain physically and mentally trying to wrap my head around how a company who deals with children can be so lazy, neglectful and most of all Egotistical, not everyone but most of the people I dealt with made nothing but excuses for their mistakes and try to fix the problems THEY CREATED by making new ones. I'm not saying don't come here but before they mess up your teeth pls go get a second opinion, if i would've been the same insecure person I was months ago I would've let them shave down my teeth and caused a bigger problem. Speak up about your concerns and if they shut them down LEAVE!
