The dentist was very sweet and answered all my questions with a smile along with the hygienist. My girls were both comfortable here. I really am so blessed to have found this dentist. My son had a bad experience at another dentist…read moreand these folks are so kind and patient. The dentist himself is very personable. Great with the kids. They also don't take xrays every single time the kids go in unless they have a reason to do so which I appreciate. I mean, who's keeping track of how many xrays they've had? They do the coins and the balloons and everything else a good pediatric dentist does. They have toys in the waiting room for the younger kids and a tv playing disney jr. I wish there was stuff for older kids to do in the waiting room but I've never had to wait long so I'm not gonna ding them for that. I appreciate too that they offered to give me a discount as I'm paying out of pocket. And that they don't"trump up" a bunch of unnecessary stuff. My one son had the beginning of a cavity and they used s water pik and blasted it clean. No problems since then. Yep. 5 stars.

Initially all my visits were routine with a cleaning & check up every 6 months.Until recently. I needed to replace an implant tooth & the capped tooth next to it. Needless to say, I was apprehensive as this was my 1st experience with cosmetic dentistry with Azalea City Dental. I also had a deadline to replace these teeth as I am traveling abroad & wanted to take my smile with me. Dr Kern & his assistant Jamie Smith took the time to allay my fears & replace my teeth in a timely manner. The results are fantastic! I highly recommend this very professional, skilled practice. My sister asked me to come with her and get a cleaning when she booked her appointment, as she was a little scared too. So I did, because you know...sisters. And I love her. Anyway, I was panicking all morning, but I was sooo pleasantly surprised! The whole place is totally new and spacey, like something out of Dr. Who, and my dental hygienist was AWESOME! She was nice and she calmed me down, great sense of humor too! Efficient and confident. The dentist was also nice and practical; he wasn't over dramatic and demanding, like my last one. It turned out to be a great experience; not something I was prepared to say about a dentsist office---ever! Anyway, 10/10. Getting a cavity filled soon...expect it will go just as well!
