6oz. New York , Hash Browns & 2 eggs over medium Sourdough toast for $9.99. A good breakfast!
Gerald P.

After failing to get breakfast @ 2 known eateries because they were both busy & had waiting lines we passed by Arizona Charlies on Boulder Hwy we decided on stopping by to try out their second floor restaurant. The original Sourdough restaurant was closed & next to it, was their steak house, which they were using as the Sourdough Cafe. We were ask to sign in by the male host. 5 minutes later we we're called & seated@ a booth in the middle of a spacious room.Renee was our server who was friendly & professional. We ordered 1 Steak & Eggs , over medium eggs & sourdough toast. 1Farmhouse breakfast. scrambled eggs, sausage & sourdough toast. 1 Diet Pepsi which was served in a small water glass@ $4.00 was my only dissatisfaction. The food was very tasty & presented nicely. Overall a good meal for 2 @ $9.99 & $7.99, discounts were available if you had a club card.Dining room staff very pleasant & efficient. Overall a good dining experience. Will go back if in the area.

Hmm? Idk what to say about this place. It's located upstairs where the old buffet used to be. Chose to eat here cause I had $20 dining credit to use and the prices here are actually pretty decent. And cheap. If you have a True card use it here to save more $ on certain meals. Now with that said. The food is actually pretty horrible. I had the street tacos that came with rice and beans. It was disgusting. Rice was hard and dry. And the beans were dry as well. The taco meat tasted ok. But that's about it. Would I eat here again? NOT ON PURPOSE. lol

Like coming here for the bread bowls or sandwiches . Had a great Ruben the last time we were here . Portions are huge consider maybe sharing a plate . This particular time we ordered steaks . I ordered the sirloin MEDIUM RARE it came out seared on both sides but rare inside . Waitress was nice but place was getting busy so maybe the kitchen sent or rushed my steak out by mistake ? We ended up getting another steak after the Chef Lady came out to scope us out then returned with "another " steak ( only the steak ) . We made no fuss just kindly asked our server for the steak to be cooked properly . I'm assuming I was brought up another steak and not the same one because I had taken 2 bites of the 8 oz sirloin . It was a bit off putting to see the manager question the server as if why I needed another one sent out ? Usually most restaurants when returning anything back to kitchen they replace it with a brand new meal Side and all not here . No manager ever came by or asked if steak was better this time . I understand this isn't a 5 star steak restaurant but honestly no one's gives a flying "star" or looks like they want to be there . It's inside Arizona Charlie's so it's mostly locals but have some integrity . Appreciate the locals too! I did not take a picture of my BLUE steak because I was too busy looking for the waitress. Although , this time I had a bad experience I will be returning because my family likes it here . Will update

We love going to eat breakfast here, $20 ( with players card) for two steak and eggs with hash browns, toast and large pot of coffee plate. P.S. Breakfast all day

Mood - dinner ( seeing what Vegas has to offer in terms of specials that are actually good) Upon entering we were greeted with great customer service. We signed up for a player's card to indulge in this all day special they were offering. We opted for the $5.99 steak and egg special, & $5.99 ham steak and egg special. Neither disappointed in the slightest. Portions were decent especially for the price. The interior is several booths, and table & chair arrangements. Everything was very clean. Our waitress made the night that much more enjoyable with her quick wit. Would def recommend- pricing was beyond reasonable, and the specials are all day. You need a player's card to indulge in the specials however. Location is Arizona Charlie's on Boulder - ample parking

Chicken Marsala on the Early Bird dinner meal deal for $5.99!

Cafeteria food was obviously just what I needed because this hit the spot (plus I was too lazy to take the car and drive somewhere else after driving the length of Nevada--could they make the roads any straighter? Plus, our Saab loves the speed limits or lack thereof). Anyway, check out their before 5 p.m. dinner menu. I ate the Chicken Marsala. It came with some veggies and white sticky rice. I had a moment of thinking I needed some soy sauce for the rice (it wasn't on the table; isn't soy sauce mandatory in a diner like this?)--but then I realize the secret to this meal is the "gravy" I mean, sauce. Mix it around with the sticky rice and Just Eat It! 4 star yummy filled my tummy.

Hamburger and fries $4.99.

If you are in a casino then you will get solid American food at a reasonable price. If you join their frequent flyer club (if you put money in slots or gamble at the tables, you must join their club) you will get discounts on the meal here. This is a typical casino eatery. It is right next to the stuff-yourself buffet where you can eat your fill to overflowing. Here, at the Sourdough Cafe, you will leave with money in your pocket and without spending an arm and a leg. I had the hamburger and fries for 4.99 less 10% for the club card. Draft beer is only $2.00. The hamburger was cooked to order and was just right. You can add cheese or fried onions for a little added extra cost. Across the casino (you are upstairs by the way) is a bar with a number of TV screens that will entertain you while you eat if you are alone. Between you and the TVs is a floor of hopeful gamblers pushing buttons and waiting for the reels to match up and the bells to ring. Jackpot! Enjoy your meal here but don't expect gourmet food. You do however get your money's worth.

Country Pot Roast

Inside Arizona Charlies Boulder Casino and upstairs. The price of the items on the menu were pretty good for the quality and portions of the food. Service overall was not bad. But considering they took out half the tables I expect better service. My waitress actually forgot something the person I was eating with had ordered. But she was nice and accommodating and made sure our water drinks were full without asking. That is a big plus for me. This place is nothing special than any other casino diner. I ordered the Country Pot Roast. It seemed to be good at the time, but it was just okay. There was a lot of fat- enough that I could pile it off on the side on the plate and it a passerby would think I was not hungry. The person I was with ordered the farmhouse breakfast with a stack of pancakes and an english muffin. The food came in a timely manner but our waitress forgot to put in the english muffin order. When we reminded her, she got one to us very quickly. Overall, I would return, but I wouldn't go out of my way for this place. If I'm there and need to eat, I would eat here again, but definitely would picking something else.

Corned Beef dinner.

St. Pat's Day and there at 11am for corned beef and cabbage. Tough, chewy and ice cold. When butter doesn't melt on oven brown? potatoes and carrots that's not good. Water was great??? As was New England chowder.

These are the prices for the value you get at sourdough cafe. The best thing is that the food is good.
Bart G.

The folks here are always make sure you feel comfortable. They even went the extra mile to make sure you are protected from Covid. While sitting at the table the make sure your masked up. Thank you and the food is always affordable and good. Breakfast Special farmhouse

Plenty of parking in the shopping center, the signage is very prominent so there is no mistaking where you're going. Walking in the front door, you feel like you're home again. Lots of cool artwork on the walls, a very wood-based environment, has a country charm to it with a modern upscale feel. We went there for appetizers as we were on a time crunch, so we ordered the blueberry chicken sliders, the corn ribs, and the blueberry chicken wings. I had heard about these for the longest time, and everyone said they were amazing. Well I'm here to tell you that they 100% are! The corn ribs were wonderful with the cilantro dipping sauce. The only thing that would have made them better is if they would have put some Jalisco cheese on it and made it a little more like street corn. But hey who am I to complain about these corn ribs? I ate them all. The blueberry chicken sliders were absolutely off the charts! I had heard about these several times. People saying things like they are the absolute best to your taste. Buds will be stunned for days. Well, they weren't wrong, these sliders were absolutely wonderful. And we cannot forget the blueberry smoked chicken wings. These things were so well cooked and the seasoning was perfect and the blueberry softs on top took it to a whole other dimension. I would eat probably three or four more plates of these. I'm looking forward to going back there for dinner, as they had plenty of options on the menu. Such as brisket, ribs and so forth. Definitely going back for round two. Bottom line? You cannot go wrong with this place. Do yourself a favor, take some friends, and get all of the aforementioned appetizers. Your taste buds will. Thank you!

For some reason, I thought this place was near Downtown--I thoroughly deserved being slapped with the reality of a 30 minute drive given my lack of preparation. The restaurant is out near Henderson basically, in a slightly sketchy looking area that I'm not entirely sure I'd feel comfortable venturing to at night. The staff at the restaurant seemed to all be young kids (college aged), and they were pretty nice and helpful with explaining the menu. There was no one else in the restaurant even though I came around 6pm. A single burger and side of fries cost me nearly $20 after tax and a small tip--although I don't know how I feel tipping for fast food... The fries were pretty good, the beef tallow and coarse salt were what really sold me on the fries. The sauce was also good--it's similar to what you might get at a famous chicken fingers fast food joint. Without these things, the fries looked (and tasted) like standard frozen food distributor fries. The bun was good and the patty was perfectly smashed. The onions weren't actually caramelized though. If I have to be honest, I finished the burger feeling unsatisfied. It was good enough that I considered purchasing another one...but then I remembered the price tag. (Who can afford or sensibly want to spend $10-12 on an underwhelming fast food burger in this economy?) Not worth the hype, the drive, or the money.

Anyways the ambiance is very clean the one thing I can comment on is the adorable hat wall. I love the mixture. Made me think of old traditions with new ideas. Idk. Food wise all food is made in house by scratch! We love love love that! My favorite items were the burnt ends! Little cubes of gold! I loved the street corn, the fresh baked rolls. But I would suggest not to skip on the churro banana pudding! It's a thick custard full of fresh bananas and then topped with mini churros. They were so nice to put 3 churros because it was 3 of us girls sharing a bit of dessert after being full!!! I wish the ribs were fall off the bone tender but they were so flavorful! We did the Chico platter with an extra meet and side. Way more food than we could eat. The iced teas super sweet. All in all a good afternoon lunch for a girls lunch or a double date.

My daughter and son in law took me for Mothers Day. There was hardly anyone inside so already not a good sign. I mean, it's Mothers Day for goodness sakes. The restaurant industry's biggest day of the year. It was lunch time, pretty much straight up noon. It should have been packed. It felt like walking into a cafeteria. Decor was lacking. Looked like they were going for half Mexican half cowboy. And I get that. I also get going for minimalist style. It just didn't feel welcoming. It felt cheap and like they didn't care what it looked like. But, looks aren't my priority when I want good food. Daughter and I each ordered a cocktail. Both were very tasty but also pretty weak. Also, I don't like drinking my fruity cocktail out of a plastic cup. All tableware was plastic. Except the cutlery. If I'm paying $30 for an entree, serve it on a real plate, or even on a metal tray. Not cheap plastic that looks like stoneware. Now for the food: daughter's salad was good. Nice fresh leafy greens with a lime ranch dressing. Her tacos were itty bitty, but for $4 each, it's to be expected. The hatch green chili Mac and cheese was ok. Nothing to rave about but no complaints either. Corn bread was tasty but fell apart when cut. I liked that it was covered in honey. I had burnt ends with brisket and Brussel sprouts. Sprouts were mushy, not crispy at all. The only flavor was the heat. I liked my burnt ends, but I've had better. Brisket was overcooked and extremely dry. Little to no flavor and really small, thin slices. I've had brisket from some of the top nationally rated BBQ places and it's always been super juicy, flavorful and nice thick slices that fall apart between your fingers. I've stood in line in the heat for over two hours to have that food. So I know good BBQ My son in law had tri tip and brisket with fries. And his plate was swimming in grease. That should never happen with low and slow cooking of meats. The amount of grease on his plate, and the state of the brisket are the ultimate reason for this less than stellar review. My daughter and I both wondered if the sandos would have been better choices, but meat that's only good if made into a sando, is not saying much about the meat. Maybe I'll get one and see if it's better. But I won't be back for plates of meat. I only took a picture of my plate. I really wish I had gotten one of my son in laws plate.

They explained how it's done here and no meat grill is involved so it was actually an interesting thing. After deliberation I got the untoasted ungrilled version which was great with the butter and salt. It also actually made a lot more sense with the dish soup I can soak the sauce with the bread. I would have gotten the west of eden cocktail but had a headache. They do batch make them but in house. Not sure why but when I walked in I was told it's a 20 minute wait for a seat at the bar and then when I got sat in 5 minutes I noticed a ton of spots on the bar open and some tables as well. I tend to think it's like a "thing" to have people wait in LA too - but I don't run a restaurant so not gonna assume I know anything about that. It's Monday after EDC. It was full but not insanely loud. Quite pleasant ambiance. The experience is strong overall, though the pricing is difficult to justify. I paid $52 for a pasta dish and a side of bread after tax and tip. That is more than any Italien place I have ever went to (which are all the fancy places in LA and a few around the world). I don't think that's appropriate or called for, but obviously this place is extremely successful despite that. Just something to consider. I had no idea.
