Many options were available and samples were provided behind the counter by a worker offering to taste test. Many of the candies offered are gummies. I know what you may be thinking. You can get the same high sugar octane candies at Bulk Barn, Couche Tard or Jean Coutu for half the price that they sell here. Yes folks.....you sure can. However the candies here have a different taste than the run of the mill Bulk barn Swedish berries or gummy bears. To me actually taste fresher and better. This is for one person who used to buy gummy bears and cola bottles by bulk at BB. However Bulk Barn is most likely the cheapest in QC to purchase candy. Then.... I discovered Haribo gummy bears. You pay more but I believe quality and taste is like a party in your mouth. Haribo does claim to have invented the gummy bear in Germany many moons ago. Back to Squish they are trying to conquer the market of premium candy. The store is bright and there is lots to check out if you are a sweet tooth. They have spent time on aesthetics such as a fresh clean store design and modern upscale looking packaging. Of course this is needed to convey an upmarket image. Excellent as a gift or stocking stuffer or co-worker (that you like) gift. Go for the 3 for $15 deal if you so desire and if available. Squish away.

I think their model is to buy award winning game in bulk to sell them at competitive prices. No obscure-game-you-never-heard-of. Catan, Carcassonne, Code name and more. Oh, they had Catan Star Trek and Harry Potter Code Name.

I haven't been to their store in Laval, but I've had their candies…read more I like that some of their candies have ingredients like blackcurrant juice concentrate, tomato juice concentrate, pumpkin juice concentrate, apple juice concentrate and carrot juice concentrate. It makes me feel just a smidge less guilty about eating junk food, lol. Despite all the above ingredients I listed, these candies are by no means "natural, health food store gummies." They contain artificial colours and flavours and preservatives, like all the other mainstream run-of-the-mill gummies. They're pretty tasty though. I like the variety packs as they have different types all mixed together. The Sweet Sixteen Jujube and Gummy Mix has gummies of different shapes and sizes and textures. I love variety so I loved this mix. The only thing that would have made it better is the inclusion of sour gummies, like the Sour Patch Kids type. Actually, I think they might have a mix like that. Gonna have to check. Anyway, I like their candies. And I like that they are a Canadian company :)

Great for fine foods, treats, teas, sauces and even beauty/cleaning items that you won't find elsewhere. I was particularly interested in the French skincare care brands such as Le Petit Marseillais and Dop which are normally very hard to find in Canada. They had a decent selection of soaps and bodywashes priced fairly compared to the original prices in Europe. If you are not familiar with the brands, you may still be impressed by the goods - we ended up purchasing some specialty sodas and unique potato chips along with other snacks. Excellent and friendly service from the staff. Wish the selection was bigger and some things more affordable, I noticed they had a section of discounted goods that were close to or past their best before date therefore I think this shop doesn't get enough customers or may not sell enough products.
