Beautiful place, with absolutely superb baklava, and very friendly people…read more It is truly a well-established Middle-Eastern pastry master in Montreal since 1975 with premium quality that would never let you down. I have visited quite a number of baklava pastry places and tested them out. This is unquestionably one of the finest bakeries I have ever seen so far. From the very high-quality ingredients, to the good consistency of making each baklava piece, as well as the great freshness of the products, all areas are simply top-notch in the business! Their store layout, their very friendly and cheerful staff, and even their packaging, are all getting together to form a very enjoyably addictive experience. Aside from the artisanal baklava, they also have other pastries, cookies, chocolate, Turkish stretchy ice cream (Maraş Dondurması), premium cakes, cream puffs, fruit tarts, and I can keep going on and on and on.... Just be prepared to spend a lot there because it is simply irresistible. LOL. Take a look at my photos posted, you will get the idea instantly. At the end of the day, these are all sweet treats that you cannot eat too much at a time. So, it will be such a nice feeling to bring the baklava back and share them with friends, families, and loved ones. Such a beautiful place to visit in Montreal. An absolutely delightful experience.

Montreal now has world class pizza! After many years of coming here and being forced to eat…read morepoutine, smoked meat, great steaks, and Canadian interpretations on various cuisines ... I now have a pizza option that rivals the best of NY, New Haven, and all the rest! Pizza Bouquet is labeled as a hybrid of other styles (NY and New Haven) and they are spot on ... more leaning to the NY version. This is exceptional pizza created by an energetic and passionate staff. I have only been there once, but in that short visit it was obvious that the pizza reflects the people that work there ... creative, fun, unique, and welcoming. They sell several great pies and actually offer both slices and whole pies. I ordered a pepperoni and hot pepper pie but as I sat there I had to get a slice of their upside down pie. While they were both outstanding, I have to say, what I cannot stop thinking about was that upside down slice. That was freaking magical. I would eat it there through because of the complexity and nuances of the actual pizza. Do not let this one sit ... trust me. Overall, this is a destination pizza in my book ,,, welcome to the world of pizza relevance Pizza Bouquet ... you guys do it right. Special shout out to the lovely ladies that danced through the entire preparation of my pie. Loved everything about this place!

New Montreal style pizza…read more Considering I've not heard of or tried "old Montreal style pizza"; just sayin'. The crust, similar to the NYC pie. Thin, gently crisp, some chew and char. Easily foldable. Follow it up with just the right amount of quality ingredients are brought together in just the right proportions with quirky flair. Upside down pizza (cheese first, sauce on top) or stranger still, a double carb potato pizza. Speaking of, the potato pie is so good. All the ingredients from a potato mille feuille with a hit of fresh rosemary and grana padano atop the well made crust. Rich, creamy, nuff said. Equally good the mushroom with its "mushroom cream" (think a thin duxelles) base, rosemary to season and meaty creminis and motz to round it all out. Finally the sopressatta. I mean, come on, who doesn't love a cheese pie made even more complex with goat cheese, honey and grana padano? Sold by the slice or whole 18 inch pie. Inexpensive. Is it better than the NYC pie? No. But it's definitely not as boring either.
