I've been coming here since the early 2000s, and after all these years it's still one of my go to…read morespots in Canoga Park for an Italian sub. Not much has changed inside, which is honestly part of what I like about it. Walking in always feels familiar. If you enter through the back you will pass the wall covered with old photos. And if you take a minute to look through them you might even spot someone you know. These days I keep my order simple with a large Famous Italian. While I'm waiting, I'll walk through the little market, check out what they have, grab something cold from the fridge, and maybe bring home some frozen pasta for a future dinner. The Famous Italian is my usual, but the hot pastrami and meatball sandwiches are also worth getting. The caprese salad is simple and fresh, and if I'm in the mood for something heavier, the hot lasagna always does the job. I've been coming here for over 20 years now and it's nice having a place that doesn't need to change.

They've been serving their loyal customers in the San Fernando Valley since 1959! Handmade meatballs and marinara sauce, that's simmered for 7 hours. Lasagna that's made from scratch daily. You can't beat their popular Italian Sub so of course we had to order that! Picked up a couple old school Italian sandwiches for our Hollywood Bowl show. Of course, we couldn't leave without their housemade Tiramisu and Carrot Cake Bar. Trust me, definitely worth it! Don't skip out on their cannolis and other desserts. There's a little market inside and seating. Perfect for a picnic or catering your next event!

I have had Basils in my bookmarks for a very long time and finally decided to try it out…read more I got their chicken pesto panini and turkey sub which were both just fine, nothing special. The panini was toasted nicely and the pesto did that good flavor but the meat was lacking flavor and the roasted red peppers were overpowering. The turkey sub was just a sub and was sloppy looking, meat falling out and the bread getting soggy. Wish I had a better experience!

Let just start with Cricca's Deli makes some seriously well-crafted sandwiches. The quality really stands out -- generous portions of meat, fresh vegetables, and great attention to detail in every bite. You have several choices of bread, and I went with the soft roll, which tasted bakery-fresh and was the perfect match for the sandwich. The large subs are truly large -- easily big enough to share between two people. If you're looking for a deli sandwich made with fresh ingredients and generous portions, Cricca's is definitely worth a visit. If you in the area or looking for a high quality sandwich you have to check this place out - you will not be disappointed. I'll be back For Sure

Our favorite place to get banh mi!…read more Small shop in Bangluck plaza. Free parking located in front of the back entrance. Menu is located on the wall. You order at the register. You can watch them make the sandwiches in front of you. The ingredients are fresh! Our go to is #10: pork banh mi. Today was the first time we ate it right away! The bread was perfectly toasted and had a nice, crunchy bite. The pork was still warm. The veggies were fresh and crunchy! It hit the spot. So good!! We usually order to eat with friends or pack for a trip, and they hold up well. The price for #10 was $10.25, but on the receipt it said $11.25. plus extra surcharge for credit card. I asked about the higher price, and they said tax. It would have been clearer if they specified tax as a separate line item, but at least now we know.
