I've had Spectrum Business Internet for over four years. The service itself is all well and great…read more Speed is wonderful and as long as you don't need customer service everything is fine. We're in the midst of moving to a new location, and the new location is not serviced by Spectrum. I'm not happy to HAVE to leave Spectrum, but boy did they burn their bridges today. I called to cancel my service EFFECTIVE next month. As soon as the call finished, I returned to my computer to continue what I had been doing, only to find I had no internet. I redialed *the very same number* I had just disconnected from, and the automated system says something along the lines "we recognize your number as a residential customer ...." [um, no, I'm a business customer but okay let's keep rolling]. I won't detail the conversation, but each person I spoke with transferred me to another person. At the end of the 35 minute phone call I had spoken with FIVE different people before they reconnected my internet. I'll miss the high speed - but I am hopeful that my new LOCAL internet service will provide me with top notch customer service.

This is the worst company ever! I was a customer for around 8 years. They kept increasing the cost…read moreof my internet over and over again. I had to call and ask why, and apparently the promotion had ended. My only choice was to threaten to cancel or actually cancel and sign up again. The price for my internet reached over 100$ for 300mbs. Can you believe that??! I finally canceled, turned in my equipment and they said I had an old modem from years ago that was replaced still on my account. The person in the store told me not to worry about it because it was old and several generations ago and that spectrum didn't provide any information regarding returning the old modem. Like they did that on purpose. Several months later, they just charged me $90 for not returning an ancient modem. A real FU on the way out for a customer of over 8 years. This f*cking company! The worst.

If you want to know the reason the store has such a low rating, just walk in and try to receive…read moreservice. I'm writing this review after visiting the store twice and waiting in store for over an hour again just to return equipment. Now they do offer appointments, but let me tell you that I have watched more than a few of those people check-in and wait a considerable amount of time beyond their appointment time to be seen, and this is another indicator that something needs to be fixed. The process here is broken, and quite apparently inefficient and not designed with customer experience in mind. The entirety of my transaction took 5 minutes and could have easily been processed numerous times during the hours I spent standing around. This was made even more apparent after watching all of the associates repeatedly wander the store, in and out the backroom, and stop to check in on the same customers standing around waiting for updates and data migrations to complete on their devices, all while there's a store full of customers waiting, many of whom are obviously there for the same reason as I. At one point a manager/leader approached me and mentioned I'd been waiting quite a while, so I explained what I needed to do and he made no offer to help expedite the process. The solution is simple. Keep a register open just for equipment returns and make a policy that anyone walking in with equipment be served in between walk-ins and appointments as associates are freed up.

I currently have AT&T internet, but I don't even have Spectrum. They call me at least once a month…read moretrying to get me to subscribe to their shitty 1 Gb cap. With AT&T and TE, I can get 5 Gb as fast as I want, and they never call me at all. AT&T is vastly superior to Spectrum in almost every way when it comes to speeds. I would go to Spectrum if you want someone calling you when you have another internet service, asking you to subscribe to their shitty service. I've told them I don't want their shitty service multiple times, but they won't stop calling me. Spectrum, you are the worst. I hope you die in hell.
