Adam was amazing to work with and I would recommend him without hesitation. We had him reseal our new marble countertops as the installer failed to do a great job and they've held up great the last year. He was responsive and took the time and care to answer all of my many, many questions. He even walked through specific topics while he was here working. After he performed the work he provided a wealth of resources on care and maintenance as I wanted to try and perform the more frequent items myself. I apologize to Adam for waiting so long to write this review. Life, work and kids were very distracting when the service was performed, but his quality, customer service and value stood out so much that I've always felt bad for not getting around to this. If you need stone care, Adam's your guy. read more

We just moved into a home with marble countertops in the entire kitchen and master that were in really bad shape with water stains and rings everywhere. Adam came in and did an AMAZING job refinishing them all. They look like new! It was easy to set up the schedule and what needed to be done plus he gave us lots of great info about products to help maintain the counters from here on out. I'd happily have him back! read more

Adam is quick to respond and thoughtful about his approach. I had a peroxide based dye on my soft marble -- after seeing a few photos, Adam was confident he could work with the situation. He arrived equipped with everything he needed, and got the job done. I highly recommend Adam not just for his work, but for how he operates his business. read more

Even though Adam is based in Olympia, he made the trip all the way out to Black Diamond to seal my marble table. He was kind and the product came out beautifully. I mentioned my granite countertops, so he took a look near my sink and noticed some discoloration from water. He ended up cleaning and sealing it for free. I would gladly go back to him for my future stone care needs, even without him being kind enough to fix up my counter! read more

More than 5 stars! I contacted Sound Stone Care regarding refinishing 3 cream marvel stone counters. I had no prior knowledge of the process, pricing, or businesses offering the service. Adam responded immediately, with details on the range of options and costs based upon my request. He was available in the following week, and was amazing to work with. Great customer service, very, very neat, protecting everything around the areas treated, and when he left, my counters were perfect, and there was no sign that he had been in our home. Left everything immaculate. It was so successful that I have asked him to come back to refinish one of our bathrooms. Adam at Sound Stone Care is the best. I wish I could have him for every job I need in the house. He is everything you are looking for- professional, respectful, and honest. We had a spot on our quartz kitchen counter top that needed to be refinished. I have called a couple of reputable companies in Tacoma. One of them was predetermined that quartz countertop could not be fixed, another one could not guarantee that they would not make more mess that we already had. Adam looked at the photos and said "will do". First of all, Adam has remarkable customer service skills. He quickly responded to all my e-mails, returned all my phone calls. He was running 15 min behind with his previous customer so that he sent me an e-mail upfront warning me about it. He was very nice, really polite and very respectful of us and our house. As for the work quality - he did a fantastic job. I am a perfectionist, and I couldn't have been happier. The surface was as good as new. It was simply perfect. Needless to say that when he finished, our kitchen looked spotless as if nobody had ever worked in it. The price was really reasonable. I am really happy I was able to find him. If you need any stone care, go with Adam. You won't be disappointed. read more

I than took the steps and now my granite countertop looks great. It is now shiney not rough and cost me $100 in supplies. He could have lied to me and got me to pay him thousands to fix this. Adam from Sound Stone Care is truly amazing. From booking the job to completion, every single aspect was stellar. I am beyond thrilled with my beautifully refinished travertine. Adam arrived on time. He was friendly and responsibly followed covid protocols. Aside from the gorgeous job he did (under budget), I was thoroughly impressed by his attention to detail. He carefully protected and covered all areas and baseboards close to the tile. I was impressed by how organized he was in his approach to the job. Everything was tidy and clean when he finished. Although the nature of the job is a bit noisy, I noticed how much care Adam took to be respectful of my neighbors (and my cat). Closing doors quietly and walking softly on the stairs may not seem like a big deal, but to me, it says a lot about his character. read more

A simple weekend project resulted in some minor damage to our granite countertop in the kitchen. Although my handiwork pitted the granite in an area approximately 2"x3", it was something I saw every time I was in the kitchen, and that just didn't fly with me. In an effort to expedite a repair, we decided to seek professional help as I have never done stone work and didn't want set sail on that sort of voyage in our kitchen. We contacted a few different companies on a Saturday afternoon and had a variety of responses. While half of the people we contacted didn't get back to us until Monday, those that did respond that day quoted us upwards of $300 to complete the job. At this point, we contacted Sound Stone Care. We got a very quick response from Adam with questions about the damage. We were able to see some photos of his work and sent in photos of our damaged countertop. Not only did Adam's quote put the others to shame, but he was kind enough to roll out here the following Saturday to complete the job. Not taking time off work was huge for me, so a definite tip of the cap there. He showed up in time and was one of the friendliest contractors we have ever had at our place. Adam has an extensive knowledge of stone applications, styles, types and repairs which eased the pain as the tools came out. In the end, a problem I saw every time I walked into the kitchen had vanished and I was back to happy camper status. Heck, I was watching This Old House during operation countertop during which, Adam expressed his admiration of the show. Anybody who can appreciate the wonder that is Norm, is more than welcome in our house:) With all this said, I think my days of gluing vent covers to countertops has come to an end. Thank you Adam! read more

Absolutely 5-star service from Adam. He was very responsive and pleasant to communicate with to get a bid. His bid was very reasonable compared to his competitors. He arrived right when he said he would on the day of the project. He was very communicative and attentive when walking me through his plan of action before starting. He did an absolutely fantastic job on our stained honed granite countertops. He got 99% of the streaks and stains out without needing to grind or sand. He provided after-care tips and left us with cleaning concentrate that is more appropriate for our granite. He also emailed more comprehensive preservation tips. What more can you say? One of the best experiences I've had with service providers in the Seattle area in over five years. If you're unsure of the best course of action for your granite or marble, give Adam at Sound Stone a call. You will not be disappointed. read more

Adam was out to clean, repair a chip, polish, and seal my 12-year granite kitchen countertops before selling my Seattle condo and I couldn't be happier. We exchange a few emails with photos of countertops and he offered an extremely good price. Adam showed up on time (despite driving from Olympia area with morning rush hour), was professional, attention to detail, cleanup, and performed fantastic work. When I buy a new house, I will keep Adam in mind if I need any stone care in the future. My real estate agent was also impressed and took Adam's business card. read more
