I've been buying audio equipment from Paul & Larry since the late 1980's. They have always given me the best value for my dollar. The real reason I keep buying from them is the service after the sale. I had a speaker driver failure once and it was a few months out of warranty. They took care of it on the spot-I told them it was out of warranty (and didn't have my receipt( Paul was aware of it and still took care of it! He even re-printed my original invoice complete with serial numbers. Do you think Best Box would do that? Not likely! I refuse to buy from the box stores, they don't care, they don't have the product knowledge and while they may carry some of the same brands, you probably won't get the quality found at Sound Ideas. For me, there is NO OTHER CHOICE for audio,video, and home theater purchases! Had the team at Sound Ideas come down to the Tampa area to perform a whole home A/V install on my house (i.e., TV mounting, surround sound speaker installation, network setup, camera system installation, and Control4 integration). He also demo'ed various equipment at the store to make sure I could hear the difference between each tier of speakers so I knew exactly what I was paying for. The system sounds great, even my neighbors think so. He gave us discounts to market prices, other specials when available (i.e. open box), and priced my receiver lower than what was on eBay. He even made a trip to my house to make sure the equipment was the right fit and to provide an accurate installation quote. Neil and Ty, the installers, were extremely knowledgable, very professional, and performed a really clean install.
