    Monica and her team did a fantastic job at our wedding! We loved the ivy wall photo booth, neon sign and the music created the vibe for a wonderful night. All at a great value! 5 stars we highly recommend Sound Event DJs!

    If you're looking for a company that will treat you like family and be there with you every step of the way in your wedding planning experience, stop looking!!! Sound Event DJ's is a family run business from Jorge our DJ to his wife Monica and their lovely daughter they all made our special day amazing. Monica must have fielded 25 calls from my neurotic fiancé during the year planning the wedding. And she always answered every call and handled every little issue or concern she had, and would even calm her down when she was stressing over other aspects of the wedding planning process. DJ sound Events was especially accommodating when it came to having to downsize the wedding and change venues at the last minute do to the Covid pandemic.     Sound Event DJs made our wedding come to life! We absolutely loved their easy-to-use planning website. We were able to pick and choose which songs we wished to be played at our wedding. Monica and Jorge did an incredible job hosting our reception. Everything from the bridal introductions to the lighting was perfection. Jorge was a very charismatic and entertaining MC. He did a great job hosting our shoe game and making sure the evening's events ran smoothly. Our guests absolutely LOVED his music selection! Jorge definitely knew how to get everyone on the dance floor. The equipment Sound Event DJs used was clearly top of the line. The intelligent moving lights were able to turn our elegant venue into a rocking night club. It was incredible to see the transformation. Choosing Sound Event DJs for our wedding was the best decision we made! We're excited to use them again for future parties and events. We can't thank Sound Event DJs enough for giving us the greatest night of our lives!

    Monica and Jorge were fantastic. I hired them to DJ our wedding and they kept that dance floor moving all night!!! Everything was perfect!

    My siblings and I had the misfortune of choosing Decorento Party Supplies for our rental decor…read moreneeds. It was rated highly on Google search, however if I could give negative stars I would. Our experience was no where near 4.5 stars on Google! The first red flag was the location itself which was difficult to find/not matching Google maps address. The second; the business itself looked like a hoarders house on the inside. The owner Elisa SEEMED to be a kind older lady and told us she was in the process of moving locations. That is why everything was in disarray and haphazard as we picked our way around. We explained that we were hosting a 70th birthday party for our father on September 14th about a month away. We gave our theme and colors and she showed us some centerpieces which we loved. We began to plan our decor around it. We listed items we would need. Elisa assured us that she had these item in her warehouse and what she didn't have she could get for us at a good price. She asked for a list of what we required so she could begin gathering everything and provide us with the cost. The invoice came to approximately $1600. It included 13 lighted centerpieces, satin and dupioni tablecloths with matching napkins, square mirror chargers, water goblets and later an addition of black seat covers and a black throne chair. We paid on August 24. From our initial meeting my sister met with Elisa three times about table setup and made multiple calls to her about decor. We were again assured that everything was well in hand. So imagine our displeasure when we reached out to confirm everything again September 8th---and received a text in response from Elisa stating that two of the items we paid to rent; the centerpieces she told us she had and the chargers were not available! The ones we built our theme around! A week before the party! Why were we just now being told this? Why was this not said during our previous communications with you? If we hadn't reached out, then what? The response? She THOUGHT she had them! She tried to order them but they won't be in until AFTER our party. When did she order? The day she received payment....and two days after. Soooo Elisa knew the day we paid that she did not have the centerpieces we paid for...in August and that the chargers were unavailable and yet choose to remain silent until September 8th.....when WE reached out to her! We requested our money back for those two items as we were now in a time crunch to find new centerpieces and chargers that would arrive on time. We questioned if she actually had the other items we had paid for? We wanted to see them to confirm. She told us that the items were at her other location and she would get them together so we could see them but every time we asked she had an excuse as to why the items weren't ready for viewing. But they would be for our party. We received the napkins so we could wash/fold them into designs so while not confident given her failure we focused on finding items to replace what we no longer had and closing the loop with our other vendors we were using for the party to ensure no additional mishaps....as it was tedious trying to hunt her down for stuff...,only to realize that again our trust in Elisa's professionalism was misplaced. The day of our party she arrived an hour late and arrived alone with a bag of stained linen table cloths of various lengths, mismatched seat covers and dirty water goblets. Needless to say we were shocked and stressed. We paid this lady. She had ONE job. To provide us with the items we asked and paid for. It goes without saying we shouldn't have to say we want our items in serviceable and clean condition. Without bleach, oil stains and dirt! These were items going on the tables for our guests! So Elisa didn't 1.) check the items 2.) make sure the items were clean/sanitized and 3.) didn't bring spare or back up items. She showed up alone without a crew offering to help us set up but she brought soiled items. Her lateness contributed to our party starting late as we had to do our best to pick through the items she bought and adjust our tables accordingly. Her response; she has other clients that she is working with...yet she took our money. We are also clients. Then upon her return for clean up, Elisa had the temerity to ask us to use our Amazons boxes to carry some of her items in, as she didn't bring any of her own! We try to support local and black owned businesses but this ain't that. Don't be deceived by the kind motherly act! Elisa is unprofessional. Not only did she fail to deliver what we paid for but she made excuses for it. And there is no excuse. She didn't set aside time for us as clients or exercise due diligence to make sure we had a great experience. She wasn't prepared, honest or punctual. This is clearly a side hustle for her and we got hustled.

This brand new location resides in what used to be the Party City store, directly next to Planet Fitness. The size of this store is big enough to accommodate the entire Madison Scare Park display, however, it hasn't been fully set up yet. It's still a bit early but I'm happy they're open so I can check out this year's goodies. Most costume sections were well stocked, displaying newer releases & older stuff from years prior. The T-shirt wall was loaded with cool designs, I'm definitely coming back to snag one. There were a good handful of accessories out like the neon LED signs, mini busts, door mats, yard props & more. Although not many, some of the shelves seemed a little empty but I'm sure they'll be tended to in the next few days. An employee told me there were still loads of boxes in the back that they're currently sorting through & placing out. When everything gets set up this is going to be a great location. Sometimes the prices are fair & sometimes they're a little high for the quality of what you get but overall I love buying stuff throughout the season. Always be sure to double check the items you buy because I've learned from experience their QC isn't the best. If you've never been or were waiting for a sign to visit then here it is. It doesn't get much better than Spirit opening in September. May this spooky season be a great one!

Costumes, make-up, props, or decorations.... you name it, Spirit Halloween has it. This pop up location is where the Party City use to be next to Planet Fitness on Pines Blvd. Perfect location that's spacious and well organized. Everything is easy to find and categorized perfectly. Love the display in the middle of the store allowing you to interact with the Halloween decor that's great for kids to enjoy. Everything seemed fairly priced and reasonable. Get there early before the rush as Halloween approaches. There's limited staff at the time but they are hiring for the rush and demand in a couple of weeks! Beat the crowd and the madness when you can and best to get your hands on that costume you want now before it's gone!
