Poor attention to work…read more PROS: The people who work there are friendly and very laidback, in terms of attitude they do have a very welcoming and easy-going vibe. Another pro is the price because they charge $10 to change a tube for a bike, but here's where I get to my cons... CONS: Service is POOR. As stated, I came to get a tube replaced for my back tire for $10. Not bad, or so I thought. A day later my back tire is flat again. I returned to get it fixed and they wanted to charge me again for the tube. Of course I refused, and when they took a look again they realized they had given me a faulty tube and that it was their fault. So they changed the tube again, no charge. Two days later, guess what happened?? Flat tire again! And also they changed my gear from free wheel to fixed without even telling me (I should have double checked about that one at the shop). Of course, I naturally decided to go to another shop, and it was them who told me the problem was I needed a new tire and that the tube that was placed was old. That means this shop didn't even notice that the tire was the problem. LOCATION: This bike shop is located in mid city. Theres no immediate parking for the shop, but there is metered street parking. Safe to say I wont be coming back here, shame because it's so close to where I live but the service was terrible.

On September 9, 2026, I experienced a popped rear tire on my e-bike near the Beverly Grove area. I…read morecalled the Beverly Hills store ahead of time to confirm they had a 20x4 inner tube in stock, explicitly mentioning that I was riding a heavy e-bike. The staff confirmed they had the part, so I walked my heavy, disabled e-bike a mile to the shop in 98-degree heat, arriving on the verge of heat exhaustion. Upon arrival, the technician barely looked at me or the bike. He nonchalantly stated he had other customers and asked me to leave the bike overnight, which I agreed to do. Three hours later, I received a phone call from the technician stating he had "bad news." He claimed that due to my bike's suspension setup, he lacked the "specialized tools" required to remove the rear wheel without damaging it. As an experienced rider, I knew this was completely false. The rear wheel drops off cleanly using standard hand tools without ever touching the suspension. When I returned to the shop to retrieve my bike, my suspicions were confirmed by the unprofessional attitude of the staff: * The employee at the door mocked my situation, condescendingly telling me, "Well, have fun with that," when I pointed out the fix was simple. * The cashier completely shrugged me off, stating he "didn't know" why the tech refused the work, showing absolute indifference to the fact that they were turning away business. Because of their refusal to perform a basic tire change, I was forced to drag my heavy e-bike another 2 miles to the train station in 90-degree weather. When I finally got the bike home, I successfully removed the rear wheel and replaced the tube myself in less than 30 minutes using a standard wrench and an Allen key. The technician lied about needing specialized equipment. The staff's dismissive, mocking, and unhelpful behavior leaves me to believe that I was either turned away out of sheer laziness or straight-up discrimination. No customer should be humiliated, lied to, and left stranded in a dangerous heatwave by representatives of the Trek brand.

This place is great.., very nicely refurbished bikes at good prices and great customer service…read more About 2-3 weeks after purchasing a Raleigh 10-speed (totally cool bike) I had a slow leak in the rear tire. I brought it back because Jose said I could if there was a problem. It turns out the tire/inner-tube was not defective. Jose parlayed the situation into an opportunity to show me how running over thorns can cause flats. He disassembled the tire where we discovered a thorn had punctured the inner tube. Even though I was "at-fault" Jose still provided his service at no charge - he fixed the flat. Thank you! If you're looking for a bike, I definitely recommend you check this place out. I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the bike I purchased and Jose is cool. If you need accessories he's got those too. Next time I'm in the market for a bike I know where I'll be headed. Thanks also to Ishraq for recommending this place!

A lot of modern bikes out there are pretty intimidating just from a $$$ and technical perspective, I wanted to jump in with something fun. I decided to go with Adopt a Bike based on their selections...it's so exciting getting daily updates on their Instagram page as they put out these beautiful restorations. I tried a few bikes at their location for a few weeks (and they are all amazing btw) until they had a beautiful, vintage silver Windsor that I really loved. I had a few squeaks and bolts loose as I rode it for a few weeks, Jose was really kind and took another look at it for me. It runs almost like a brand new bike honestly, just perfect and exactly what I initially had hoped for. I really want to thank Jose for being so accommodating and patient with me in my recent frustration, the bike is absolutely perfect. If I ever need another bike, I will be back!

This shop is amazing and so is Christopher…read more We walked in on a Saturday morning (the day before Ciclavia) with a bike that arrived with a twisted chain when we pulled it out of the box to assemble it. I was worried they would be too busy the day before Ciclavia to do a same day repair service, but that was definitely not the case. The moment I walked in, Christopher greeted me with a friendly smile and asked how he could help me. I told him about the twisted bike chain on my brand new bike, and he said he could fix it immediately! He said "I need 5 minutes and is $20 ok?" I was thrilled! I ran out to get my bike, rolled it back in, and Christopher fixed my issue in about 3 minutes. He was amazing! The shop is well stocked with all kinds of brand new bikes, from road bikes to e-bikes. They also sell helmets (kids to adults), Kryptonite locks, seats, seat covers, and pretty much anything you could need for your biking adventure. They even do bike tours of LA! This is such a cool shop with a great team, excellent, knowledgeable service, and experienced bike technicians. I will be back for anything we need for our bikes, or, hopefully to book a bike tour of LA the next time we have friends in town. They're also the bike shop in Weho that opens the earliest on weekends - they open at 9am on Saturdays. Thank you for saving the day for us before Ciclavia, Christopher!

I think his name was Kim- he worked on tightening my brakes for probably a good 20 minutes. He initially was baffled in trying to determine what was preventing them from working. I felt grateful this man seemed genuinely concerned & thorough, considering he was providing a free service to me. After realizing he couldn't fix whatever the problem was, he asked his helper to take a look. After about 5 minutes, the helper said the the replacement arm or brake was broken. It wasn't broken when I brought it to them. They wish they would've done the right thing and told me they accidentally broke it and would honor a repair. But they didn't. I said thank you for trying and thank you for your time, left them a tip and rode away. I didn't know it was broken until I closely inspected it after riding off. They seemed friendly and helpful, however I felt duped and deceived.
