So if you have multiple scans, you need to make more than one appointment. Come early to fill out your screening paperwork. They have lockers to lock up your things. Make sure you remove all jewelry, watches, phone and metal. Better to wear a bra without wire and sports bra. You can keep your street clothes on if it's appropriate (meaning no metal zippers or clasps), otherwise they have gowns to change into. I'm saying this to be funny but very serious: if your hair extensions or wig has metal clips in it, it has to be removed. The machine is loud and they do provide ear plugs. Be prepared to lie flat for about 20-30 minutes. They do give pillows and blankets to make you comfortable. Most importantly please be absolutely still and do not move inside the machine! They have to stop and start over and that creates delays. Both of my appointments were delayed 30-45 minutes because of previous patients. She made me nervous because she acted so strange! After she finished with her procedure she did not wipe off the gel she used for the procedure. This is the 1st time in 10 or more ultrasounds that have had that the tech didn't do this which further added it to my concerns! This is the first negative experienceI have had at Herman Memorial imaging center, and truly, I could've done without it! If it were possible, this experience would rate zero stars! Dr. Davis isn't what I thought she was. She super failed me. I came here because I had an infection…read moreand needed some medicine to cure the problem. The visit was all well until I took the medication. With her being a doctor she should have been more alert that I was a young adult and couldn't take a high dose of medicine. She gave me 500mg of Flagyl and I took that as the directions told me too. That medicine gave me the worst allergic reaction. All of the side effects that is under that medication I went through. When my mental state changed I called her office to let her know that I was having complications with the medicine and she put in a lower dosage to my pharmacy. I called my pharmacy and then was told that the medicine was never called in by the doctor. The doctor was careless and pregnant. She should have been more aware because after all that I had went through I had to be rushed to the emergency room and stayed there for 6 days. Then after that I still couldn't get my mind back to normal. I had to be rushed to another hospital and stayed there for 15 days. Horrible. I will never come here again, I will just have to find me another and BETTER DOCTOR! After all the hospital visits, I had to drop all my classes from college and quit my job. She nearly killed me and with that medicine. But thank God, I pulled through! Beware of this doctor, or enter at your own risk! I am a living testimony! She may be nice, but there's always a price you have to pay with niceness. I paid that price!

Ugh, finding a new OB-GYN -- probably one of the most underrated female fears of moving. Having visited Houston Women's Care Associates in the Med Center for my well-woman exam last year, I was pleased to find out that The Woman's Place here in Pearland was one of their partnering offices. Scheduling an appointment was easy: the receptionist returned my call promptly, she was very friendly and pleasant to talk to, and I was able to schedule an appointment two days later w/ Dr. Morgan. Their office is located in a small plaza on Broadway/518 near 288, devoid of insane traffic or parking fees like their main office in the Med Center. If you're a new patient, arrive early because of paperwork... paperwork that contains basically the same information you provide to the receptionist when setting up your appointment. Weird. The office is nice and cozy; big waiting area and such. However, after being spoiled at the main location, where the examination rooms have plush pillows, chairs, changing curtains, and other little goodies, the rooms here are more... traditional. Nothing fancy. Nothing extra. Dr. Morgan is very sweet and has great bedside manner, but my visit felt very quick. Again, perhaps I'm spoiled by my experience @ the HQ, where my OB-GYN took the time to talk to me in her office before bringing me to an exam room and getting down to business. I have no major qualms about The Woman's Place -- I mean, Dr. Morgan told me right away that everything felt normal, and I got my BC refilled -- but it was definitely one of my more impersonal visits.

You are allowed up to 5 guests at your ultrasound and masks are required so I felt very comfortable with their covid precautions. The facility was very clean and ultrasound technician was very friendly and was able to explain the image on the screen well enough that even my dad finally saw a baby and not just an inkblot. We chose to do the platinum package with the HD images and they turned out better that I could have imagined. When I shared them with friends, some of them thought we had delivered early and they were actual pictures. If this is something you are considering doing, I would highly recommend it.

My doctor wanted me to get an MRI due to a recent fall I had that has had me in pain for over three…read moreweeks. The price I was told to pay (after insurance) was $1,091.22. Which is more than I can currently afford to pay. I was referred to go to Green Imaging who found an affordable MRI location. With my insurance it was still going to be a pretty penny but after receiving the doctors order they said they could do it without insurance for $250 (left knee only without contrast. It is very no frills but in no way lacks professionalism and good service. I was treated with respect and dignity and care. The MRI is located in a trailer behind the building. It's is cold to prepare yourself. I only had to remove my shoes, my watch, and my jacket due to the metal zipper. They gave me a blanket to make me comfortable but it was still cold. The imaging took about 30-35 minutes. After I was given a cd of the images to take to my doctor. A report will be sent directly to them in 2-3 business days. A great experience and I am grateful that it was within my budget!

I went into the emergency room with severe abdominal pain and the staff got me in with 30 minutes even the ED was full - they recognized that I was in severe pain. I was the admitted to the surgical unit and prepped for surgery. My surgeon showed up at 11:00PM!! And I was in the operating room within 15 minutes. They saved my life! I would recommend this hospital to anyone in the Southeast Harris Co area and beyond. Everything the medical center can offer, they can do as well, except heart surgery.
