I am filing a complaint regarding a very frustrating and unprofessional experience I had with a…read morepediatric medical office on March 17, 2026. I had a scheduled appointment for my son at 9:15 AM. I called ahead of time when I realized I would be late in order to reschedule. During that call, the representative informed me that because my son was sick, they would not allow him to come into the office. Instead, I was told that they would schedule an e-visit (virtual visit) for later that same day at 4:15 PM. I agreed to this arrangement based on the information provided. Later, when I logged into the MyChart system for the scheduled appointment, I noticed that it was listed as an office visit rather than an e-visit. I called the office to clarify, and the representative I spoke with told me that I must have "misheard" and insisted that no one would have told me it was an e-visit. I was then transferred to the office manager, Sharon, who also stated that I must have misheard and that no employee would have given me that information. I explained clearly what I had been told earlier, but she continued to dismiss my concerns. When I requested the name of the representative who originally assisted me so I could better understand the situation, Sharon refused to provide that information. The conversation escalated due to the lack of assistance and accountability. Sharon further stated that if I filed a complaint, it would "just come back to her," which gave me the impression that there is no proper oversight or accountability process within the office.

I was referred here by a old friend to TCP and it has been about 3 years . WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE DR AMY and the front desk staff. I could go to any place of business and I wouldn't care how great the doctor is , if the front desk doesn't match that, I am out. We have recently moved and I still make the drive to come here because I doubt I will find somewhere better than this. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK DR. AMY AND STAFF. -Andria Villarreal

They did take my son's vitals but was misdiagnosed with the flu. They did swab him there and the result was positive? And was told he had the flu the DR tried to prescribe Theraflu and cough medicine although my son had zero! no symptoms of flu, not even congestion or cough. Then he tried to say maybe my son was having anxiety. Which we have never dealt with. My son ended up just having a stomach bug. The reason I took him was because he felt lethargic and had vomited at school. The next day I took him to pediatriciAN, he was already fine and was also tested for flu and he was negative! He did not take any of the prescribed medicines prescribed by Pandas.

I've had multiple appointments at Kelsey, and unfortunately, my experience with the front office…read morestaff has been consistently disappointing. More often than not, the front desk employees come across as passive-aggressive, rarely acknowledge patients when they arrive, and don't seem welcoming or friendly. For many patients, the front desk staff are the first people they interact with, often when they're not feeling well or are already stressed. A warm greeting and a little kindness can make a big difference. Instead, the interactions often feel cold and uninviting, which leaves a negative first impression. I hope Kelsey will provide additional customer service training to ensure every patient feels acknowledged, respected, and welcomed from the moment they walk through the door.

He gets 5 stars. However, the nurse practitioner who "helped" her daughter yesterday deserves less than one star. I'm going to refer to my friend's daughter as Jane because I don't want to disclose her real name. Anyhow, Jane had been dealing with a terrible cough and lots of congestion for a few days and my friend took her to this office to get some meds for her. After waiting the usual ridiculous amount of time it normally takes in a doctor's waiting room, Jane was called to the back. Unfortunately, the doc was out and a nurse practitioner had to take his place for the day. She checked Jane's throat and ears and.... Well...that was it. Keep in mind that my friend doesn't even live in Pasadena, so she drove all the way over there to wait forever just to have an appointment that lasted less than 2 minutes. The practitioner told her that Jane was fine and that they could leave. That would have been great news if It wasn't obvious to even a blind person that Jane was ill. Today, Jane was seen at another doctor's office and we found out she has an ear infection. How did the nurse practitioner not notice any inflammation yesterday?!?! She was given an antibiotic and also some meds for her congestion. Had Jane's mom trusted the nurse practitioner at this office, only God knows how bad her ear infection would have gotten.
