My masseuse Poala provided the best massage I think I have ever had. Traveling to Europe to walking everyday for miles on end my body was more than due for a massage. Poala was thorough and strong and it was worth every single dollar spent. If you go to Soulspace request her if you can, you will not regret it and I am so thankful to have gotten such a great massage. She is amazing at what she does. If I come back to Florence I will go see her again! Poala thank you so much!

Soulspace is definitely worth making a wellness appointment for the day of arrival, just allow yourself enough time if walking, because the beauty of the city if the first time as it was for me, was easy to get distracted by the beauty of the architecture and bustle of the area near the Duomo. Owner Zelal, wa ever so helpful. She is a Dr by profession, and did a career transition 15 yrs ago, and developed and grew this incredible spa. Zelal even walked me to my hair appointment and helped me not to get run over by a passing bus. When offered an arm to take as she did, after a most relaxing neck and back massage, take it, as my footing was not as steady as I thought. Thank you Zelal and staff, I will definitely be back!

My husband and I were desperately needing relaxing massages after traveling all over the Europe for a week. We were so lucky to find Soulspace in Florence! We made an appointment online (yelp) the day before and the owner quickly responded with an available time. It is centrally locates and we were served hot peach tea upon arrival to this beautiful/ clean spa. We had one hour relaxing massage and it was exactly what we needed. We both very much enjoyed our masseuses!! Highly recommend this wonderful place to anyone :) - We don't speak Italian at all but the staff spoke perfect English

Two weeks of traveling and my body was so fatigued, I was in dire need of a massage. I found this place after several attempts (they are a bit hidden), made a reservation with a deposit. The day of my massage, I got lost trying to get to them in the pouring rain. I arrived to my appointment 1 hour late and soaked to the bone from the rain. They were amazing! Not only did they welcome me with open arms, they took me in right away kept my appointment. Luna was my massage therapist and she was amazing. She did a fantastic job and even made some suggestions on some problem areas that were holding tension. If you are looking for a spa and need a massage, be sure to stop into this place, it's worth every effort to find them, they CARE about the people who find them. Luna is amazing but they are all kind and gentle with their guests. read more

If you're ever in Florence, Italy and need a deep massage, this is the place for you. Europe involves a LOT of walking, so I really needed a massage. This place was quiet and peaceful and the massage helped. They don't speak English but you can get by with pigeon Italia. Molto bene!! read more

Are my feet the only feet on fire in Florence? After five days of around 15,000 steps a day, my dogs were howling. I can't believe there aren't a crop of foot massage places like there are in LA. I would have gone each night. Here's a business idea... a chain of foot massage joints with air conditioning! This place was super easy to book. I emailed them the day of and snatched two 30 minute appointments. There's a pool there and it's soooo relaxing. It was clean and the staff was professional and kind. I guess it was reflexology but it felt more like a person rubbing my feet with long nails. My feet felt marketably better after, but it's not the Asian type of reflexology that follows a map of my foot that I have grown used to in LA. This nice lady just rubbed my feet. In less desperate times I may have been picky-er, but dang... Italians can't be the best at everything. I got my money's worth. read more

My friend and I were studying abroad in Firenze for a semester and needed a relaxing experience before our final exams. This spa was the perfect place for that!! We only knew a little bit of Italian, but the staff was so welcoming and accommodating. The massage was really lovely and we had the best time relaxing on the loungers with tea, floating in the pool, and sitting in the steam room. I really recommend Soulspace and hope I can go back in the future!! read more

You MUST add this to your to do list in Florence. Zalal and her team have curated a place that sends you into immediate relaxation mode from the moment you walk in. The relaxing massage is just what we needed after a transatlantic flight. Thank goodness I found her massage space! read more

I needed some tlc and soul space provided a much needed massage and spa time. The place is somewhat hard to find. It's in a mixed use entrance and the spa is in the rear. I was able to book a treatment as a walk in the same day. I had the entire spa to myself and the place is nicely furnished and peaceful. I received and awesome massage that soothe my aching muscles and relaxed me tremendously. I spent about 15 minutes in the steam room after my massage and the steam helped cleanse my body of the impurities. I dipped in the pool after the steam and floated in the water for a while. The pool was refreshing, especially after the hot and humid days I've been experiencing while on my trip. All and all, the 95 euros I spent on my treatment was well worth it. I recommend coming here for some pampering. read more

Probably the worst massage I've ever gotten. They didn't ask about any of my problem spots. I only got 45 min instead of an hour. My boyfriend was the first one in and the last one out though. I came with severe back and neck pain and my back and neck were barely touched. I had to ask MULTIPLE times for the pressure to be increased which she would do for about 5 seconds then continued with barely touching my body. I probably could have taught a three year old toddler how to massage how she did. I told the owner how upset I was when I came out and she only gave me a 10% discount. Still had to pay $190. Completely dissatisfied and disappointed. I'm leaving with the same pain I came in with which is extremely frustrating. My neck pain is so bad I've had such a hard time sleeping, I can't look left, right, or up without experiencing pain. Unless you're trying to get ripped off I wouldn't come here again. read more

Hi! I'm an American. Called 5 minutes beforehand and they were able to take us. I was told it'd be 100 Euro for a 1-hr Swedish massage for my friend and me. Massage was decent, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't an hour, and I'm pretty sure we were swindled with the price. Check out their menu...something I didn't think I needed to do if I was being quoted the "correct" price. Lastly, they only massaged my back, legs and chest ... arms? Hands?? Disappointed. read more

Upon entering this beautiful serene oasis, all my daily tensions disappeared. I was greeted by Zelal the owner with the warmest of welcomes. I chose the deconstructing massage due to my tight muscles from work, travel, and the gym. I showed up early to enjoy the wonderful steam room and the pretty plunge pool in the center of the spa. The steam room was the perfect temperature and had reviving cleansing properties and the pool was very refreshing. Luciana was my massage therapist and it felt like she read my body with her hands, like a healer. Fantastic communication in regards to pressure and what my body needed. She has a soothing energy and is very skilled at releasing pressure from each needed area. She transported me to a relaxing and pain free state. After the massage, I sipped on delicious warm tea and cucumber lemon water while relaxing in their cozy lounge. I exited the spa on a cloud feeling like a new woman. I highly recommend this 5-star spa treasure in the center of Florence. read more

My husband and I came to Florence on the 2nd stop of our honeymoon. We were set on wanting massages, and discovered Soulspace comfort-zone had an entire spa. The owner Zelal responded to my messages through Yelp when I requested an appointment for us. She was very quick to respond, which is an A+ in my opinion! We chose to do the couple massage package which included a Turkish bath (steam bath), relaxation, and massage. From start to finish the staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and professional. Our massage therapists were fantastic! We felt so relaxed afterwards, ready for more exploring! We highly recommend this spa for anyone wanting some relaxation or a massage! read more

I had been searching for a spa near in my neighbourhood just before i moved to Florence. I found Soulspace on Yelp and decided to spoil myself. Soulspace is beautifully decorated and very clean. The ambiance, the color of the walls, the warm inside pool; everything is A line. I had a chance to chat with the kind and very friendly owner of the spa to pick the facial for myself. Lucky me, she is a doctor and i was in good hands Doctor Zelal explained me everything in detail. I had an excellent session for the facial and also i have decided to get a massage. Guess what? After 60 mins i felt like a baby. I'm bioker in already for my next appointment. Soulspace is my fav spot in Florence for a massage and facial. Always smells great and everyone is so friendly and professional. If you want to take a break from Florence's rush its wort to shot The they also have an English version of their website if you are not sure which theraphy is best for you. read more

This place is perfect right in the heart of Florence. The owner was extremely nice and welcoming and same with the staff, very reasonably priced. Only wish they would have had a hot jacuzzi, and the towel under my massage chair was kind of dirty but other than that it was delightful. I will definitely be back read more

husband and I went here our third day in Italy, second day in Florence which was really nice after all of the walking. The receptionist did know English so it was easy to book our massage. You could probably do a walk-in appointment but I would schedule an appointment if you can. Either they're not very busy or they did an awesome job of scheduling appointments correctly because there was no one else in the locker room when I was there and we had the place to ourselves. Although I did schedule our appointment right before they closed for the next day at 11 AM, so my guess would be not very busy? They have two different couples massage packages one is a 40 minute the other is a 50 minute massage. I prefer at least an hour but would have loved an hour and a half. The main difference between the two was longer pool time. The massage itself was good, she was very attentive to my feet and legs (she probably assumed I had done a ton of walking). My husband would've preferred a stronger massage. The massage tables did not have a space for your face so be prepared to lay down with your head turn to the side. After you put on your robe in the locker room they walk you down to an underground cave that has a lounge area and a private room where you get your massages, which was really cool. After our massage as they walked us up and showed us the steam room and the pool then we put on our bathing suits, sat in the steam room for a bit, rinsed, and went into the pool. I would've preferred the pool to be warmer and I would've stayed in it longer but after sitting in the steam room it seemed a bit chilly. We did have the whole pool to ourselves. Then we laid in the lounge area and read until it was time to go. LADIES: they do have a shower and hair dryer in the locker room so take shampoo and make up if you'd like to get ready for the rest of your day. I Asked the receptionist for a plastic bag which she promptly supplied for our bathing suits so I could pack them without getting her other things wet. I would say definitely go, it was a cool experience and there's not a lot of massage options in Florence, well that I could find. read more

My experience at soulspace was nothing short of fabulous. I was really in need of some relaxation and a good massage to heal my aching body from walking miles upon miles everyday on our trip. I found soulspace online and I wasn't sure how it would be since I don't know much about Italy and I was scared it would be very different from any American spa experiences I have had, but it was wonderful! Dr. Zelal was very helpeful (via yelp messenger- something I have never used before but thought was really helpful because it can be done over wifi) and she helped me figure out the package I wanted. I ended up doing a massage, time in the steam room and relaxation area, and a facial. The steam room and relaxation were very nice especially since I haven't been able to sit in a comfy space or lay on a comfy bed in a long time because of the hotels we have been at. They also gave me tea and I don't always like tea but this tea was fabulous- I'm not sure what kind but I think it was white peach tea and it was awesome. The massage was then lovely. I'm used to sports massages for an injury so it wasn't as strong as I'm used to but that was exactly what I wanted- just a relaxing massage. Then the facial was fabulous and really long and then she spent a while massaging my face (which I've never had done for more than like 30 seconds and it's usually awkward but this was so nice) and it was exactly what I needed and more than I wanted. Afterward they let me relax in the relaxation area until I wanted to leave even though I surpassed my allotted 1 hour. All in all I definitely recommend, and it really wasn't that expensive compared to many in the US. Definitely try this place! read more

Beautiful space, not a great massage. I've been a massage therapist for 31 years. They have a paper (like in a doctors office) for you to lay on and old towels beneath it. The lady who worked on me didn't speak a lick of English - and didn't understand anything I asked for. She wasn't Italian either. ( I speak some Italian). With no communication, it felt rushed, the robe was too small to cover me. The oil was cheap and greasy. Not a great experience at all. THE SPACE Is amazing...but I think the gal who worked on me was just out of school with little training. Having traveled 28 hours, I was worse off than I had not gone in at all.... If you are used to Swedish massage, this is not the place to go. The kicker - it was the most expensive massage at $100 I've ever paid and didn't even last a full hour. It was a hour from the time I got in the room, and then up and dressed. They didn't ask me for anything that was aching or any questions as all. I felt like a slab of meat getting greased up. UGH! read more
