Not letting me in while I am only 4 minutes late for the class? It's a joke. I can hardly find a reason to come back.

Right next to a PATH station and in the central area of Hoboken. It may be difficult to find parking but if you come early enough, you can find street or lot/garage parking near. The ladies working the front desk were super nice and gave me a tour. If it's your first time here, they offer free shoe rentals and a bottle of water. This is a nice touch. The locker room can get tight after a your ride but is bright, clean, and has all the amenities you need. My ride with Danielle damn-near killed me. She really pushed me and I was soaking wet after the ride. I appreciated the fact that she came and introduced herself and helped me set-up my bike. She was really helpful and it made me feel a bit comfortable. I like that she shout-outs your name if your working hard. Positive-reinforcement much? This place was similar to most boutique cycling studios. It's dark, compact with bikes, and the teacher and music are loud af. I like that and Prime Cycle did not disappoint. Definitely recommend. If you're new to cycling or wondering if this is a place for you, definitely come! They're very welcoming and will give you a great workout.

Every single one I have ever had has always been extremely intense and will work out just as hard if not harder than you during the class. Heidi was no different. Not only was she awesome before class - helping us rookies to Rush Cycling ( which btw, is a spin class on a bike that can lean right and left, so you can get a more full bodied workout), but during the class, watching her KILL it on her bike, while motivating us to keep going, that really left me in awe. At the end of one of the runs, she left out a huge "whooooo" which as any spin person knows, is that moment at the very end, after you've wanted to give up for the last 2 minutes, but you didn't, you kept going, and now you are basically letting it all go by giving yourself a verbal high five for slaying it. It's just cool because spin instructors really work out and work out hard with you. That makes you feel like you can do it too. that alone makes me want to come back. A couple of other things: 1) If you've never done this before, you will feel pain the next day. It might even be hard to walk or sit. Factor that into your plans 2) There is parking in the area 3) Rush Cycling is on the Third Floor of the New Brunswick Center. 4) The studio has towels, butt pads you can borrow for the class, and water for purchase.

Rushcycling has a special kind of bike that maneuvers left and right as your riding. It is tricky to understand at first but after a few classes you will get the hang of it. One tip for all newcomers that want to try spin, the next day, your inner thighs and behind will be in pain caused from the seat of the bike. This is normal! For most people, they don't sit on bikes that often, so it's an adjustment. Can't wait to be back again!

Conceptually, it's much more than a barre studio and actually couldn't believe everything that was included with a day pass: 1. Comfortable, sumptuous space in a few rooms for those in search of a quiet work environment or just want a little socialization on those remote work days. The decor is vintage chic and the sofas/chairs are very comfy, complete with afghans to snuggle in. 2. Zoom booth - soundproof booth for those needing complete privacy during their zoom, podcast, etc. sessions 3. Sparkling water, still water, a couple wines on tap! And ice of course. 4. Barre studio with amazing instructors 5. Salon area where you can schedule blow outs after workout (extra) 6. Inclusive childcare with onsite nannies so you can work out without worry 7. Sauna to unwind and detox 8. Relaxation and recovery lounge where you can try out the full length compression boots. 9. You can get spray tanning if you book in advance (extra) 10. Lockers and shower facilities. For February, they are offering 50% off a day pass. I think this is a no-brainer for women wanting a quiet, safe, inspirational space to work or socialize, especially with the free onsite childcare. I am definitely coming back.

It was my last SoulCycle trip before I head back to Japan and it was a perfect way to close a series of fantastic classes. I've taken Karyn's classes when she first started. She was great then and got even better. High energy, great choreography, and a playlist that I would want. I'm pretty sure that every SoulCycle instructor gets more attractive over time. Must be the SoulCycle effect. Doesn't have the same impact on me though! Team at check-in is full of smiles and helpful. Love the Pride celebration in the month of June.

I didn't love that the showers were quite limited, with only 2 regular showers and 1 handicap. I felt like I had to rush out of class early, before the stretching, to secure a shower. The changing area is quite tight as well and the also limited bathroom stalls (only 2) are a bit dingy. The staff does a good job keeping the facilities clean, however I felt that the studio itself needs renovations. The layout of the bike studio itself is a bit weird and the room was pretty musky prior. The bikes also felt a bit older, as my bike handles were pretty worn. I took a T. Swift x Latino Artist ride and the playlist was just ok. I can see how people may say that SoulCycle is a bit culty - the instructor knew people's names in the front row and this class was really strong and ON IT!! It was definitely motivating. The one thing that I dislike about Crunch Hoboken are the hair dryers, which are old and take forever to dry your hair. At first…read moreglance it's not much, the size of the gym is smaller than other locations but what makes this one stand out than some of the other locations is their "Signature" branding which includes better equipment and towel service. As of recently they've upgraded their treadmills to Woodways which I was very excited to try out. They're quick, smooth and compatible with your smart watch, I just wish they would upgrade their entire line up of treads and not just half the room. The gym itself is a bit warm and kinda humid all year long, there's no fans blowing anywhere to keep the place cool. I've had no issues with staff, everyone has been very friendly. Parking is a nightmare though. It's all paid street parking and everyone is just sharking for the next spot. Sundays used to be free parking but as of recently that's now changed. If there's something I would ask to be improved is for the hours to change. Open up earlier and close later. Lifetime Fitness opens at 5AM and closes at 11PM. Take some notes and learn from them, some of us have chaotic work schedules and the business hours at this location (especially on weekends) are lame. Also please finish updating the rest of your treads to Woodways, I can't stand having to wait 15-20 minutes for equipment to open up.
