Not HERE!! We had heard that reds were really making g headway in Leelanau & Boathosue is leading the way. Even their 2022 Chardonnay is quite lovely with notes of oak and spices. Meanwhile, I was take. Aback at how lovely their reds are. Fruity yet balanced & delicious. Their 2022 Pinot noir was wonderful with montmorency tart cherry notes. Yum! The 2020 Boathouse Red bursts with berries but not at all overpowering. Finally the 2021 Cab Franc was solidly balanced. Ask for John & go!

Ergo, I feel qualified to review. I confess I haven't (yet) been to ALL the wineries on the peninsula, but I've been to at least a dozen and... I just like Laurentide wine the best. By "best", I also mean "consistently". Every time I come taste, I really like most of them. A lot. I even joined the wine club; the first and only wine club I've ever joined and I've never been disappointed in a bottle. And the prices are fair. And the people are nice. BEWARE OF HIDDEN FEES…read more We paid $1,000 up front for the bus. I tipped the driver $100 upon entry of the bus, thinking I was doing him a solid. At the end of the trip, the driver stated that I still owed $100 because there was a "mandatory 20% gratuity fee" nobody made us aware of. Absolute trash. Would never book this company again or recommend this bus to anyone. This was for our wedding. STAY AWAY!
