BEWARE OF HIDDEN FEES. We paid $1,000 up front for the bus. I tipped the driver $100 upon entry of the bus, thinking I was doing him a solid. At the end of the trip, the driver stated that I still owed $100 because there was a "mandatory 20% gratuity fee" nobody made us aware of. Absolute trash. Would never book this company again or recommend this bus to anyone. This was for our wedding. STAY AWAY! read more

We did a bachelorette party in Holland MI and added on a wine tour with The Magic Shuttle Bus. Matt, the owner was very professional and kind throughout the whole experience. He planned and booked all the reservations for 3 stops and set the expectation for us on what to expect. Day of, Carl was our driver, and he was TOP NOTCH! Very friendly and took great care of us. He called to let us know he was on his way, was early, took GREAT pictures for us and let us play our music as loud as we wanted. He was very cautious with driving and we felt very safe. Max, our driver was super fun and we did have a great time overall, but $150 an hour was excessively expensive for what it was, and I don't really think it was worth the cost, in my opinion. Extremely rude driver on 9-27-2 at 4:50 at Bowers Harbor Vineyard. She parked in the middle of the road and blocked three cars from leaving. When this was pointed out to her she was rude and non apologetic. There are other tours and I will recommend them to friends when they visit us and wish to tour the area. read more

What a blast! Our driver was fabulous and the tour, so enjoyable. Admittedly, I was not sure how interesting the wines would be. Shame on me. You meet the bus in a parking lot (take an Uber) and visit 4 wineries. The views and tastings were lovely. And we did find wines we enjoyed and would buy. Each winery offered other drinks besides wine. Ciders, Frose', slushies just to name a few. So don't be afraid to drag the non wine drinker along. The views and grounds of the wineries are spectacular. We went on a Monday and had 11 people on our tour. I would highly recommend this tour. read more

Owner is insanely unprofessional and argumentative. If you want a private tour with specific places, I would dodge this company at all costs. We had to change our plans 2 times and all less than a week before our tour - it was absolute chaos. When I tried to talk to the owner about changes that needed to be made that the company was accountable for, the owner yelled at me over the phone...how is that okay in any situation as I am the customer paying you for your service....Also, prices online are wrong as well, so don't trust that either. I came to Traverse City for a girls weekend and we did the 5 hour wine tour! It was a GREAT choice. They take you to 4 different wineries on the Magic Shuttle bus. The bus is comfortable and nice. Our shuttle driver, ROSE, was awesome! She was friendly and personable. She went above and beyond to make our experience great! I am not happy with their service. I sent in an inquiry 2 weeks ago about getting a bus for my boyfriends birthday to go wine tasting. The website said that I would hear back from them in 24 hours and it's been two weeks. We have now had to change our plan because I never heard back from them. There should not be something on the website that says you would hear back from them within 24 hours if that is not the case. Very disappointed with their service. I will never try to use them again. I was attending a wedding in Michigan and the bridal party booked this service to take us wine tasting. We were notified that we were starting earlier than planned because the company decided to book another wedding party on the same day... no big deal, we were happy. As we began tasting at our first winery, I didn't realize we were in a bit of a time crunch, we had to be out of the tasting room and on the bus at a certain time. No problem. I began to have a problem when the driver told us we had 30-35 minutes per stop to enjoy a 5-7 flight wine tasting session. Their poor planning and nastiness is not the point of me writing this review. At every stop, my girlfriend and I left my medicine bag (about $120 worth) and a bottle of water in the same seat in the same exact spot. At the last stop, we returned to the bus to find out bag and water were missing. While trying to find the bag and the water, I asked the driver how I could file a complaint for lost or stolen items. He literally laughed out loud in my face. I told how much I did not appreciate him laughing at me and apologized 3 separate times. I admit, I was unhappy and let him know I was not happy in a non-confronting or intimidating manner. The bag was not found. I called the company by phone to contact them about a lost or stolen item and to file a complaint about the driver who had laughed at me for asking a very logical and reasonable question. The person who answered the phone told me that he assured me that I was wrong and that I was taking his laughing at me "the wrong way". He continued to tell me he was just joking when he laughed at me and continued to tell me he meant nothing by it. I told him I understood he meant nothing by it, but at the same time- that is completely unprofessional and he unacceptable. After going back and forth for a few minutes I realized nothing was going to be resolved by talking to this man (the driver's son by the way). A few minutes had passed and I remembered the bus had a sign that said- "video and audio recorded". So logically, I called the company back to see if they could find out anything by reviewing the footage. When I called back, the man (the driver's son) stated, "We do not record video or audio, that sign was left there form when it was an old school bus. " I did not want to argue with this man so I just told him that is all I wanted and hung up. The sign that is hanging that says, "video and audio recorded is in the same font and uses the same paint (on a sign that is nailed or attached on to the bus somehow attached as an add-on piece) as the max occupancy and guests allowed that matched the decor of this entirely renovated and transitioned old school bus. I did not want to argue about the situation with the man (the driver's son) any longer and told him thank you and hung up. I am not accusing anyone of anything- but I feel as I the situation could have been handled better by the company for starters. They should also not have a sign up that says "video and audio recorded" if there is nothing being recorded. And the fact that he told me the sign has been up since it was an old school bus is completely false. The sign was in the same fashion, font, and paint color as the rest of the writing at the heading of ty front of the inside of the bus. I will be contacting the bbb about my interaction with this company and the false signs they have hanging in their bus that mislead me to believe that I would be able to leave my belongings and n the bus while I enjoy wine tasting at various tasting rooms. Overall, a very, very poor and disappointing experience. read more
