I attend the hot Pilates. You do have to bring your own mat. Bring a small towel because you will definitely sweat, grip socks and a bottle of water.. the studio is very clean. They have cubbies to put all your personal belongings while you're in the class.. the bathrooms are stocked with basic necessities like deodorant, some hair ties, etc. plus they do offer like mints lol it's just a cute added touch to their brand. If you do forget your mat, they do have one that you can borrow, but they are limited. Raquel is an amazing instructor. She is consistently cheering you on. Her classes is tough but you want it to be tough otherwise what's the point of going and not getting a workout? Honestly, I'm not sure if there's really an easy Pilates class lol. I am currently taking this class with my ClassPass so it leaves me open to be able to explore workout programs that work best for me. I am appreciative that the studio is on ClassPass. Otherwise I probably would have never attempted to try their classes. I highly recommend checking them out. The hot Pilates is my favorite.

Previously, the hot mat room was much smaller, so I was happy to see more spots available in the hot mat class. Immediately upon arrival, I was greeted at the door to check-in. There are cubbies outside of the hot mat room to put your bag and shoes, and the room has all of the equipment needed for the class. Nina was my instructor and she killed it! I definitely felt the burn this morning with how many pulses she made us do! I didn't get a good look at the new reformer room, but I'm hoping to take a reformer class there in the near future!

5 Stars for a FANTASTIC Pilates studio where everyone is incredibly welcoming and all bodies are…read morewelcomed. My good friend Addie recommended I try this studio after hearing I was interested in taking my yearlong at-home matt Pilates practice to an IRL studio with reformers. She let me know what she loved most about it was how inclusive it was of all body types- not just your stereotypical Pilates/yoga body. I mentioned my concern that the classes appeared to always be on a waitlist on the website (they have 12 reformers, so the classes are small), but she let me know people cancel very regularly and you almost always get in. Besides that, if you book a week or two out, you will have no trouble immediately getting placed into the class. The weekend after Thanksgiving, I signed up for one of their intro sessions. These sessions are just 30 mins and only a few folks who are interested in taking classes, but want to check it out first. After our 30 mins with Lisette, we were all down to get memberships. One thing that really impressed me was how friendly and receptive everyone has been since then. I've already been to a few classes (I go hard when I join something! Lol) and the teachers have been wonderful and affirming, while walking around and adjusting us (not physically, but with verbal cues). I planned on doing back to back classes (a reformer flow and then Center & Balance class), but wanted to make sure that made sense and as soon as I called, my questions were answered with friendliness and like I was talking to someone I'd known for a while. Finally, I'm stoked about how clean everything is kept. Everyone cleans all of the equipment they used right after class and it is THOROUGH! There's something about the group pressure that helps keep everyone accountable to doing a great job of cleaning up after themselves. Overall, a great studio! I got the app and have been able to sign up for classes for the same week and have gotten off the waitlist each time. Yay for timely cancelations! (There's a few invited if you no-show without formally canceling, which I imagine helps this process along!)

When Bibi reached back and I explained what I was feeling she said "yes I can help you with that". I was looking for someone that would "train" me into exercising again after having some physical issues. I was feeling unsteady while trying to get back into yoga and my body wasn't cooperating. The first thing that Bibi said was that I had to tell her if I felt any kind of pain immediately in order to adjust the exercises. This is refreshing because we are conditioned to the "no pain no gain" motto. And true to her word as soon as I feel pain she changes it up and shows me a better way to move that won't hurt me. I have had 7 sessions with her and I feel more confident and stronger every time. I love the one on one sessions with Bibi and how she pays attention to details that most of us don't even know about when exercising. Highly recommended!

Wanting to get some agility back, I went to Centering Pilates in Maitland and its owner Bibi. She is aware of the aging process and at every session she carefully stretches and strengthens my muscles. The result has been reduced joint pain and increased balance. After only three months I can see and feel the difference. Thank you so much, Bibi!

It is a very nice and clean studio and the classes are small, usually around 5 or 6 people and no more than 8. The utilize both the tower and the mat. With the classes being small, the instructors can watch and make sure that you are doing all of the moves correctly. Although you are paying more than you would at a gym, it is completely worth it as the quality of instruction is that much better. You get a better deal if you buy the classes in packages. They have classes ranging from beginner to advanced at all times of the day. They also offer private, duet, and trio classes in which you can utilize the reformers. You can conveniently sign-up and pay for classes online. Pilates is a great way to increase core strength and flexibility. It is also a great way to switch up your routine from weights and cardio. I would definitely recommend the Pilates Loft to anyone who wants to give pilates a try :)
