Paul and SOS are fantastic as always. My water heater started leaking while I was out of town. Paul was able to come out on short notice and take care of everything when I couldn't. Excellent communication and professional service. Thanks! read more

My wife and I called Paul at S.O.S. Plumbing when the upstairs sink backup up. We recently had a fiberglass liner installed by another company, and it turns out they missed reinstating the sink drain connection into the main line (that's a BIG oops). As I feared, we had to dig...in the family room...under the carpet...three days after we had the house cleaned and the carpet shampooed from the other guys. We shared our story with Paul and Al, and everything the other company put us through (extended timeline, disorganization, destruction of property, etc.) They felt for us. Given that the family room had to be dug up, these guys did it right!!! They set up ratcheting poles (floor to ceiling) to create a containment area. They put down several drop clothes, to protect the carpet. And they even put the dirt into trash cans instead of on the slab. Imagine that, a tidy plumbing company...I was shocked too. When they left, the job was done right and it was photographed for the previous company. Our family room was as clean as it could be until our carpet guys could reset the carpet and pad they folded over (neatly). And now (three days later), there is NO EVIDENCE that S.O.S. Plumbing was here. They were upfront about the Scope of the project and Pricing. They were very fair and kept their word! They said ONE day, and it was 3/4 of a day! These guys definitely earned a spot on my "Good Vendor List." As a business owner in an industry that is familiar with plumbing, that is a strict list. I also possess the knowledge to understand their process, and to know (ahead of time) these guys are HONEST & hardworking, very clean, and paid to think!! Thanks guys, my wife and I are so relieved to be through this. read more

Called in morning to schedule an appointment to fix a clogged toilet. Very professional and helpful. Scheduled for 3-5pm service call. Paul arrived at 4:30. Was in the bathroom for no more than 10 min. The charge was $221.00 which included the senior discount. Absolutely outrageous. Will never use or recommend. read more

If you want to know whether Chris Fults and his awesome crew at SOS Plumbing stand by their work, read this tale. In 2011, I contracted SOS to fix the sewer pipes at my residence in the Hollywood Hills. It is an awkward 110-foot system that was installed in 1959. Major cracks with root incursions. Chris Fults came out and replaced a major tee connection, and lined the entire system. The job came with a lifetime warranty. Fast-forward to July, 2021. The sewer line became clogged, so I called my regular plumber to check it out. He said there was a blockage, likely from roots. He hydro-jetted the line, and it took hours to break through the root ball. Afterwards, the camera showed that the blockage was open only about 1/3, and most of the roots remained. The pipe was draining properly, and though the liner was in perfect condition, it was blocked at the collar where the sewer pipe connected to the ambi, and exited to the city sewer. That section would have to be dug up and replaced. I contacted Chris, explained the issue and sent him the pipe camera video. He scheduled one of his great teams, Efrain and Armando, to repair the connection. They were able to do the job with minimal trenching, and no damage to my plants or sprinkler system. The new collar and ambi are now encased in concrete, to prevent another root incursion. The entire job was done at no charge, in accordance with the terms of the warranty. I can say that my experience with Chris Fults is that his word is his bond. In this case, he proved it without question. read more

Great Service, helpful with any questions and concerns. They finished on time and at the quoted price. I had a bad experience with having to have my rental property's sewer pipe fixed or replaced, and they had a very cost - effective solution and were able to come out quickly and finish in just a few days. They left everything as they found it and the tenants did not complain about the workers or the work. I would reccommend them for anyone who needs quality work and professional service. This morning when our washing machine was draining, all of a sudden water was backing up in our laundry room sink and the kitchen sinks. Our efforts to unclog the drains didn't work so we called SOS plumbing and Efrain arrived in less than an hour. He unclogged our drains and fixed a faulty pipe connection under our kitchen sink. We were very pleased with the promptness, the service, the price and the professionalism. We will definitely use them again and would recommend them to our friends. read more

Well it finally happened, my sewer failed and I decided to call SOS Plumbing. I spoke with Paul and he set up a free estimate. It turns out I had roots in my sewer line, and it was approx 100 feet long. My house was built in 1908 and my sewer line was 4 and 6 inch. As for my experience as a homeowner, I was very happy with SOS, they were on time and communicated with my wife very well. In as little as two days I had a brand new trenchless sewer liner installed and my sewer was working again better than ever. I called them becasue I did not want to dig as my sewer pipe ran completely under my driveway. I was very happy to learn my repai came with a 50 year warranty!! I highly recommend this company if you have a serious sewer problem. They will repair it and remove all you worries! Thanks to the crew and Paul we are very happy. No more Sewer Problems!! read more

This is my second time using SOS plumbing I've worked with Paul, who has been great at explaining the problem, giving me options and solving the issues. I own a few rental properties and it's great to have a plumber that actually cares not just about the project at hand but gives great advice for future upkeep and preventative measures. I've worked with a lot of plumbers in my business and so for sos has proven to be the most reliable and professional company I've found. read more

We had been having a problem with our main drain line backing-up since the Holidays. We had a "rooter" service come out twice which temporarily fixed the problem but with the buried drain lines being 80+ years old, I feared it was something more. Chris and two of his team came out Wednesday evening to begin trouble shooting - working well into dark they at least had the line cleared for our use but we did not yet have a solution. Thursday morning they arrived on-time to continue troubleshooting. By noon time we had a plan of attack and I had a fixed price agreement to reline the original pipes from the under the house connection to the street. The difficulty was that making working access meant removing 16 feet of deck and digging down 6+ feet at the edge of the house. All this work was completed with minimal daily interruption of bathroom access. The reline was complete late Monday and the decking replaced Tuesday mid day. All told the job took an additional day beyond the original estimate, but looking into the access hole required to make the repair was explanation enough. The entire group of guys working at our home were courteous and professional and took the time to do the job right. Sometimes when you have contractors in you walk away at the end of the job feeling as if you did not get "value for money" - this project left the feeling that we were fairly treated and that the job was done right. read more

We had a backed up sewer pipe, and I called several places before SOS called me back to schedule an appointment for the same day. When they got here, they quickly diagnosed the problem (which was less severe than I thought). While it took them two visits to completely fix the issue, they clearly explained what was wrong and charged us a reasonable price. I would definitely call them again the next time I have a plumbing issue. read more

I live in a 40+ year old house and have had plumbing issues for years. Recently I made the mistake of calling a franchise owned rooter company first for a main line blockage. They may be cheap at first, with a deal like $99 to clear a blockage, but then the up-sale begins. The rooter company did clear my sewer lines, but also found a hole in a sewer line under my house, and wanted me to spend another $12K to re-pipe ALL of the sewer lines under my house! I called SOS (family-owned, a lesson learned) for another estimate, and this is where things got better. Paul and Efran came out and looked at all of my lines with a camera. It cost about $200 for the diagnosis, but it was thorough and well worth it. They determined where the hole was, and that the rest of my lines were fine! They fixed it for a fraction of the cost! Not only that, Paul took a look at the work I had done by the rooter company (I never told him how much I spent) and guessed the amount that I had paid for the work - his estimate for the rooter work was 1/2 their cost!! Efran and Victor repaired the hole in my pipe. They had to jack-hammer a hole in my garage slab, and replace a y-fitting four feet deep. They also came across a couple of hiccups (water lines in the way, that they had to re-route) and handled them perfectly. They were friendly, very professional, hard-working, and thorough. I was worried about a ton of dust from the jackhammer, but they took care to minimize it, and there is hardly any residue. If you want an honest look at your plumbing problem, call SOS plumbing. They are now my go-to plumbers. read more

I have used SOS 3 times for different problems (toilets, leaking water heater, disposal/sink leaks) . They always arrived promptly at the scheduled time and completed the work on time and for the price quoted. The repairman was very professional, polite, and cleaned up after the work was finished. Overall, very pleased with the entire experience. So refreshing to do business with a company that does what it says and delivers on time! I highly recommend this company! read more

We had a refrigerator line leak two days before a Holiday eevent. I contacted SOS plumbing and explained the urgency. They had a plumber out within two hours and he was able to assess and make the repairs in less than an hour. He was very friendly and accomodating as he had to work around drying equipment that had been installed by the water restoration company. He had the correct valve on hand to perform the repair and made sure everything was working properly before he left. This is the 2nd time that they have provided professional and efficient serivee to us and we will definitely recommend them and use them in the future. read more

My wife and I purchased a home in Laguna Beach and found out we needed to re-line our sewer lateral. It was a difficult job and SOS gave us a competitive bid for the work. Well, there were complications and Chris, Paul and the rest of the crew at SOS went above and beyond, took care of everything without trying to charge us any extra. They are very professional and I would recommend them to anyone based on my experience. read more

I called SOS Plumbing on a Saturday evening to schedule an appointment after Roto Rooter did a no show for a 10am to noon window that day. SOS made an appointment for the next day between 12-2. The technician showed up at 1. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. After scoping the main line situation with a camera he determined the problem and went to work. The problem was paper towels in the main line due to my neighboring store flushing them. This is a very hard repair which needed a heavy duty snake that the technician did not have on his truck. Rather than leaving and coming back another day, leaving us with no bathroom, he called in backup and another truck showed up and they fixed the problem. Again, this was on a Sunday. SOS did not gouge us on the price. They were extremely hard working and professional throughout the whole project. I highly recommend SOS and will use them for any plumbing issues from here on out. read more
