They didn't provide a clear order of services and multiple people seemed to be coordinating the clean up but all insufficiently. We had to repeated call the office to get updates and know when people were coming into the house. The cleaning crew did a good job on the attic insulation and vent cleaning. But we had to call the powers washers back because they missed a few spots outside. They had the main interior cleaners come before all the other work was done so we had to ask them to reclean the house (we found a lot of dirt and footprints in the house). There was mismanagement of the workers by the company. Our main agent couldn't make it and the replacement they sent to pick up our check straight up lied and ghosted us. All in all, the job was complete and they were open to redoing work when it wasn't done. So we appreciated that.

I…read morewasn't sure how to proceed, but one thing that was confusing was pretty much no remediation people I talked to would actually patch up the walls/floorboards/baseboards after taking them out and getting rid of the mold! Daniel and his team on the other hand.... They did everything! Daniel was so friendly and chill and seemed to know exactly what the problems were and even pointed out other problems as they went through our repair job that were helpful for preventing further damage and such. When work started, they put up plastic to isolate the problem room and cover furniture that couldn't be moved, took out all effected materials, and Daniel's guys even went to source some floor boards they had to remove due to damage which was something we were having a hard time doing ourselves. It was so appreciated on our part because he went out of his way. Real stand up guy! They patched everything up and it looks good as new and no moldy smell even a month later! When we first got a quote we balked at the price... everything is so expensive now and we weren't sure what to do, but it had to be repaired... so it was worth the price to have the convenience of the team who took out our walls and floors and such to be the ones who put it back. So overall, it made sense to go with Daniel and is team just for the consistency of the care. And they did a great job on both ends!

I got quotes from other places that included drywall repair but they were a few days out. So I decided to go with Green Planet because they could start immediately. The only thing was that their quote didn't include drywall repair. I was told it's another dept and I would need to get a quote or I can find my own handyman. Ok how much can it be? Well after the water damage was resolved, I started getting quotes for drywall repair. I found out it was very expensive. In fact, well past the quote from the other places that included drywall repair. If I were to do it again, I would get quotes for the complete work so I can compare apples to apples.

I cannot say enough good things about Restoration Masters and the way they handled our home after…read morewe experienced smoke and debris damage. From the beginning, they were professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and extremely thorough. What impressed me most was that they truly advocated for doing the job correctly. When the initial insurance scope did not fully address everything that needed to be restored, Restoration Masters took the time to document the damage, explain why additional work was necessary, and provide the information needed to support the supplemental work. They weren't interested in taking shortcuts--they wanted to make sure our home was properly restored and safe for our family. Gary was especially wonderful to work with. He was patient with all of our questions, kept us informed throughout the process, and helped us navigate a stressful insurance claim when we weren't always sure what the next step should be.
