    Lobster pizza

The food was great. The pizza with lobster was delicious. Service was great. I loved that the ambiance was quiet and relaxing. The dishes were definitely different. Prices were average.

We have come to La Paz several times over the last five years and each time Sorstis does not disappoint. This past trip we had the pleasure of having Alejandro as our server. Alejandro is by far one of the best servers! Everyone is so sweet, but he made the dinner. Enjoyable fun, and he was so attentive. Thank you for making date night. So much better.

This is a first class operation. Lovely courtyard dining, roving guitarist, singers. Water fountain, old world charm A huge menu with many vegetarian and fish dishes. Unfortunately, they were out of the tuna roll special, but we got vegetarian ravioli. along with eggplant Parmesan two huge perfectly made salads. And a portobello mushroom dish that was nicely presented and tasty. All the portions were very large and could feed two people. Our waiter spoke no English, but we had no problems communicating , and the service was very attentive, Has to be one of the best Italian places in town nd the quality of all the dishes were excellent

If you're a foodie visiting or traveling through La Paz, Sorstis is a must. We found this gem thanks to Yelp, and everything exceeded our expectations. The ambiance itself sets the vibe for a romantic night (or as romantic you can get at our table of six people). You can dine inside, but we opted for al fresco seating in the hacienda-style patio. Surrounded by native plants, hanging lights, candlelight, white linen, views of the wine room, views of the kitchen - and live music... it was a VIBE. We started with salads, oysters, bruschetta; then filled up on pastas, pizza, seafood, wine, and dessert. All of the plates are very generous in size, so consider a shared-plate situation so you can try it all. I ordered the vegetable ravioli and it was a shame I couldn't finish this handmade dish! They have an impressive wine list and cocktails - so enjoy. You're on vacation!

Best wine from Valle de Guadalupe from Quinta Monasterio

We had a great dining experience at Sorstis. Our party was sat outside in their lovely courtyard area and the staff were very attentive. I was thrilled they had red wine from my favorite vineyard in Valle De Guadalupe, Quinta Monasterio. We had starters and salads and decided to go family style with the main course. We ordered the alfredo pasta, eggplant parm, tomahawk steak, and prime rib. The pasta and parm were delicious. The quality of the steak and way it was prepared (started on the grill then finished in their stone oven) was phenomenal. I will definitely be returning to Sorstis on my next trip to La Paz!

The restaurant was absolutely beautiful! The food was very tasty and the wait staff was super attentive. The serving sizes were quite large. The chicken was cooked very well and very tender. The seafood was slightly overbooked. Overall, the b every crumble was my favorite! It's a spendy restaurant but quite good.

Mediterranean base, island flair and ... too much to type! Too good to miss!!! I had the lamb ravioli and it was PERFECTO. Fish carpaccio and the pizza, arrachera pizza, who woulda thought!

We had the pleasure and honor to be Hector's guests at Bleu restaurant last night, under the…read moreprivate dinner protocols he's implemented in response to the Covid crisis. Bleu is (now) a charming small restaurant in the residential area northwest of TS off of Las Playitas, and Hector is a the well-recognized owner/chef. His background is extensive, drawing from well beyond the small TS community. Arrangements began with setting the reservation and a pleasant Whatsapp conversation about the menu. At this time, the restaurant takes one reservation per day, typically for dinner. Between Hector and his very capable daughter we never wanted for anything, service was unobtrusive but always there. We began with Apertifs - Aperol spritzs, done just right - just past sunset. The patio is situated on a bit of high ground with a classic view looking west over the Pacific. These were followed by gazpacho shots and words can't really describe the layers of flavors, we could have finished pints of this. Bleu salads came next, perhaps a dozen ingredients, dressed just right and the best set of greens we've had on this trip (or at home for that matter). Between the two of us, main courses included split and char-grilled locally-caught crayfish (or clawless lobsters if you prefer), grilled Sonoran beef NY strip and delicately sauteed Cabrilla sea bass. These were accompanied by a great selection of grilled vegetables, toasted baguette rounds and garlic butter, and brought on lavishly set platters. Desert was worthy of the meal, a delicious rich chocolate cake for two with perfectly-brewed (coarse ground) French-press coffee. The meal was fantastic, but was just one component of a perfect 2-3 hour experience that I cannot recommend highly enough. All I'll say about price is that its not something most would do nightly but we considered it an exceptional value and felt very lucky to have the opportunity. Salut Hector!

After spending a few days in Cabo and trying to avoid the overpriced tourist traps, we decided to…read moretry Apostolis. It was not loud and crowded like all the other spots. Prices were also much more reasonable. We talked to the person in front of the restaurant because he was actually polite and not pushy like all the other "sales" guys on the Marina. He told us about the different options they have for cooking fresh caught fish. We caught a nice yellow fin tuna the day before and the restaurants offerings sounded pretty good. We gave them our fish, and chose to have them make the tuna 3 ways. They brought out complimentary pistachio bread with olive oil and vinegar as well as pita bread and garlic hummus. Both were pretty good, but nothing amazing. After that, our first tuna course came out. It was a crudo style dish with Parmesan cheese, capers, and a vinaigrette. It was absolutely delicious and i was very surprised that the cheese went with the fresh tuna. I am usually opposed to pairing dairy with my seafood. But this just worked and I could have eaten the entire tuna prepared this way. Then came a grilled preparation of the tuna with a light tomato, zucchini, and olive sauce. It was paired with a Bulgar wheat salad and a beet salad. The beets were just average, but the Bulgar wheat was a perfect pairing with the fish. Lastly, we had a pan cooked tuna with a balsamic onion sauce. We though that the sauce was a bit heavy and over-powered the fish, but it was still delicious nonetheless. It came with a green salad and a garlic mashed potatoes and those were good but nothing amazing. This place did not have the crowds of the tourist traps, but more people should be eating here instead of the Americanized nachos and quesadillas at the other restaurants on the Marina. True, this place is not authentic Mexican either, but its a great change of pace from the other Marina spots.
