My friend and I stopped into this location because Kemo Sabe previously had a Las Vegas store and…read morewe were excited to check it out. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by a young woman whose customer service was truly impeccable, easily the best interaction we had with any employee that day (December 23rd around 2:30pm) I regret not getting her name, as she set a very high bar for what hospitality should look like. We walked in and found the slap-bracelet koozies and were talking about how nostalgic these are and similar to items we grew up with. She mentioned that a bar had recently opened inside the store - an easy "yes" for us. She walked us over to the bar, where we were greeted by Titus. Initially, he was kind, engaging, and friendly. He made us two cocktails, and we spent some time chatting about other Kemo Sabe locations. The conversation was pleasant and the experience started off strong. Unfortunately, that positive impression did not last. As we exited the bar area and moved onto the sales floor, Titus walked over to two of his colleagues and whispered something to them. Immediately afterward, all attention shifted to my friend and me and four eyes locked on us in a way that was unmistakable and deeply uncomfortable. When I directly asked what had been said, one associate responded that he was "going to get food," which was clearly not the full story. The entire vibe changed in an instant. What had been a welcoming, engaging interaction suddenly felt judgmental and targeted. As customers, we should never feel scrutinized or made to feel "othered" simply for existing in a retail space. I finished my drink and left shortly thereafter because the atmosphere had become so uncomfortable. The two store employees who had been watching us were awful. Locked eyes and all and not even a peep from either of them if we needed help. As someone who has worked in the service industry previously, I understand how critical it is to remain neutral, professional, and aware of the impressions you're giving especially in a wanna be luxury retail environment like KS. Whatever was whispered in that moment led to behavior that felt rude, dismissive, and frankly, icky. Titus left a very distasteful impression, and it overshadowed what could have been an excellent experience. My friend stayed behind briefly to find the associate who initially helped us and shared what had occurred. While that associate was apologetic, the apology does not undo how we were made to feel as customers. This experience was incredibly disappointing and, unfortunately, has ensured that I will never be returning to a Kemo Sabe location. Hospitality and customer service is about how you make people feel and on this visit, that mark was missed entirely and sadly has ruined this brand for me.

It was fairly busy which I understand because it's summer and they do have super fun hats that they customize to fit your style, so it takes some time. So with that said I don't mind waiting at all. But not even acknowledging someone when they have been in the store for 30 minutes is not cool in my opinion!! It was like we were invisible!! Not good for such a high end establishment!! On a positive note their hats, boots and retail items are absolutely stunning!! Maybe we went on an off day.

Double Charged and No Accountability: BEWARE…read more Please make sure to check your credit card statement if you shop here. I was charged twice for a single transaction totaling $227.63-and the way this was handled was incredibly unprofessional. I spoke with a woman named Christina, and rather than taking ownership or even offering a basic apology, she immediately shifted the blame to the credit card processing company. She told me they were closed and the issue would be addressed the following morning. Two days later-no update on my card, no call back. So I followed up myself AGAIN. Christina did not even acknowledge she forgot both to follow up and to handle the issue. Still, no apology for the oversight. Then, to make matters worse, she told me she couldn't credit the full amount and proceeded to argue with me that the store only charged once. She said she has to call their credit card processor for the remaining amount and sounded annoyed. This mistake should have been handled promptly. It's been 6 days, and I have yet to receive my credit back. Mistakes happen, I understand that. But the complete lack of responsibility, professionalism, and customer care is what prompted this review. Make sure you receive confirmation that you were only charged once for your transaction before you leave. Christina admitted it has happened before.

This is my post on FB in most of the local Flathead group'…read more They need to change NOW. I'm beyond frustrated with what's happening at Flathead Industries Industries and I think our community needs to talk about it. This is a NON-PROFIT thrift store that receives ALL of its merchandise through donations, yet prices have become completely out of touch with the people they're supposed to serve. Examples from just today: * Dollar-store items priced at $5 * An embroidery hoop priced at $4 -- brand new at Walmart for $3 * Larger hoops at 25¢ at Thrift Haus, our other local nonprofit thrift store * Clothing routinely priced $10-$20 per item What really crossed the line for me was the attitude. When prices are questioned, customers are told: "You can go shop at the clearance center." So... drive 20 miles to shop what didn't sell? Even worse -- a senior citizen in front of me was excited about her "good deals," only to be told by the cashier that the items were accidentally priced too low. That felt humiliating and unnecessary. Publicly available information shows top executives earning around $170,000 per year. Whether you agree with that compensation or not, it's hard not to notice the disconnect between executive pay and pricing policies at a donation-based thrift store. A nonprofit thrift store should: * Help stretch limited incomes * Support seniors, families, and working people * Reflect community values Charging near-retail prices for donated goods is not charitable -- it's unconscionable. We deserve transparency, accountability, and pricing that actually serves the community that donates to and shops at these stores. If you feel the same, speak up. This only changes if people stop staying quiet. * I am going to edit with additional details- On average, only about 20-25% of donated clothing ever sells in thrift stores. The rest is pushed to outlets, sold by the pound, or baled and shipped overseas. The U.S. exports hundreds of thousands of tons of used clothing every year. Much of that clothing -- especially low-quality fast fashion -- cannot be reused and ends up dumped or burned in countries with weak waste infrastructure, causing serious environmental and public-health harm. So when a nonprofit thrift store overprices donated goods, it doesn't reduce waste -- it often increases it, while pushing costs onto local shoppers and exporting the consequences elsewhere. High prices don't equal sustainability. They equal missed reuse, local hardship, and global dumping.

IMHO this by far the best thrift store in the Flathead. It is always organized and orderly. There…read moreare specials most every day love to come on 1/2 off day!! Woot woot.
