We just checked out this place for the first time. We got enough chicken to grill for 5 people, bag of chips and house made guacamole for less than $10. It's a total steal. The marinade on the chicken was delicious too. Most the chips were just standard. I think a fifth star could be earned for some fried on site? But, otherwise we will be back. I honestly can't recommend this place enough! My favorite meat store. The owner Artemio is amazing super friendly and helpful and always giving tips on the best way to cook your meat and also has the best seasoning in town. Staff is always super friendly that's a plus. The store is pretty small but definitely worth the meat. They also have a food truck that you won't regret especially their chicharron meat bomb!!! read more

Bought a few rib steaks here the other day. Not sure where this place gets their meats, but I must tell you the steaks had an off flavor, sort of gamey, hard to describe and tough. Barbecued them and the lack of marbling was obvious. For what I paid, was not what I was expecting with all the rave reviews this place gets. I have one steak left and will cube it up now for chili, don't think it will survive the barbecue by itself as it has zero marbling and don't want to deal with another tough, chewy and stringy steak.
