There's a place in Menlo Park where I charge my car for $0.11 per kWh, so it costs about $6 to fill up, if I had to charge at home with PG&E it would be more expensive than a gas car. This company needs to be broken up and shut down.

It said my power would be shut off if payment was not received by the stated date, and I didn't even receive the letter until AFTER the date stated above! I paid that Monday morning via my renewed credit card Monday morning, but my power was still shut off the following Thursday afternoon. To restore power, I was forced to make another payment of the same amount that same day! They did process that payment sooner than the first one. The end result was that now I have a credit amount for my account, and won't have to make another payment for several months. No wonder Pacific Greed and Extortion is one of the most hated companies in California with such incompetence. To avoid future problems, I have reverted to receiving monthly bills in the mail since I do not trust them at all! Besides, in my neighborhood in the northwest corner of Pacific Grove CA there has always been several power outages every year, some lasting twice as long as other areas due to their inability to adequately manage this utility, something I never experienced in areas of the country with much worse weather conditions. I will always hate them the rest of my life. Besides, they poisoned the groundwater in Hinckley Ca several years ago and caused a San Bruno CA neighborhood explosion that killed several people, as well as others from wildfires caused by their avoidance of modern equipment, all indicative of their greed! I would rate them zero stars if possible!

We were worried about our home being red tagged if we didn't finish it before it rained again but the owner Allen ensured me that he could get it done. Well the winter came and gone and nobody came. He kept giving me the runaround and avoiding my phone calls. A year and a half went by and finally I just wanted the money back I had given him and hire someone else. Allen then said he was going to be dropping off materials and equipment for the job and would have everything done in a week. He dropped off some equipment and a month would go by then it was the run around again until finally it was the second winter and it started to rain. Instead of building the wall I paid for he brought big cement blocks and lined them up on the side of my driveway where the side of the hill was sliding away. It was a mess! The side of the hill slid away and pushed the blocks down my driveway blocking the road and blocking my vehicles from leaving my driveway. Allen refused to help and I ended up hiring someone else to move over 30 giant cement blocks that I no use for and because the erosion had gotten so bad the county made me hire an engineer to design a wall I bearly could afford. Allen cost me hundreds of thousands of dollars and made me want two years before only making the situation worse. This is the absolute worst company there is do not hire them!!!

Given our house…read morewas over 100yrs old and the line was likely the original, a complete replacement was recommended. Carlos was extremely helpful in helping us arrive at a cost we could afford. The TrenchFree crew were timely, knowledgeable, and hard working given the 100+ degree temperature the 1st day of the field work. Repair consisted of solid piping under a retaining wall, through an area that had to be backfilled to take out a sag in the line, followed by lining approx. 50lf of existing CI piping that would eventually fail given its age. In addition, my wife and I made an unusual request regarding payment. We applied for and were approved to receive a 21-month 0% APR CC with Chase that would allow us to cover the repair interest free. When I explained the situation to the Accounting department, they were kind enough to defer payment until we receive the CC from the bank. All around excellent service during a very trying time. Hats off to the TrenchFree team for a job well done! I'd be happy to refer you to anyone requiring your services in the future!
