The installation includes a 1-year service warranty, which has proven very helpful. Side note, if you add a mineral cartridge to your RO system and that RO system supplies an existing copper water/ice line to a refrigerator, be sure to have the ice line replaced with polyethylene tubing. If not, the minerals will degrade the copper ice line, resulting in leaks. Many thanks to José for the super job he did capping our old copper ice line and replacing it with under cabinet-mounted polyethylene tubing--works great, can't see the tubing, no leaks! Many thanks to Niko for resolving a problem we had with melted potassium in the reservoir tank for our softening system. Niko was very patient as he explained the problem and showed me step-by-step how to fix the issue myself if it happens again. He also tested the water until the results confirmed that the problem was resolved. Many thanks to Angel for taking service calls cheerfully and with kindness and efficiency. Our Kinetico system was effecting a major water leak (600 gal over ~28 hours), and I tried reaching them at different numbers after hours; a representative contacted me from each of those lines and set up an appointment the following day, 8a-12p window. Our technician Sonny Vigil arrived at 9AM, very professional and respectful. He explained his triage per step, replaced parts and fixed everything up without hassle. Shared tips about the filtration system and general troubleshooting. He additionally performed a full system checkup and replaced our filters as part of the same service visit; we would've otherwise run out of potable water shortly. Serviced everything efficiently and effectively. I had originally planned to get to work in the afternoon, but everything was resolved and ready to go by 10:30AM.

First-I paid almost 3 times as much for the system than if I would have purchased one from Home Depot or Lowes. Second-The installation I had done on this new product was done by a pro and the programming of the unit went well. Third-Soon after the system was installed it began doing erratic things like regenerating at different times than the one that was set. The regeneration time was cleared and reset multiple times only to have the softener revert. Fourth-I called and Emailed the customer service rep. and he tried to correct the regeneration problem by walking me through the steps but none of those fixes worked. He then contacted the manufacturer and they responded with a new fix but that did not work either. Fourth-The owners manual is THE WORST!!! It is just a cobbled selection of random instructions, almost like you walked into the middle of a conversation and then try to understand what is the gist of that conversation. Early on when I commented on this I received a call from someone at the Clean Water Store and she wanted to know and understand how they could improve the manual. I suggested she look at how Rheem or Whirlpool or GE does it. Their instruction/owners manuals whether printed or online are clear and concise. Doing so would probably eliminate many questions and Emails to the service reps. Fifth-Here I am a year later with an outstanding service ticket. A few days ago the rep. contacted me and said he was going to close out that open ticket. I replied the manufacturer never helped us correct the regeneration problem. He stated, they never got back to him. Sixth-My impression and experience shows that once you purchase from the Clean Water Store you are on your own. The service rep. tried his best but like me he was left in the lurch. The warranty on the product from the manufacturer is worthless, it means nothing. The owners of the Clean Water Store should take heed, they can not ignore ongoing product problems that affect their customers. If they continue to not serve their customers, their customers will find a company that does. STAY WAY! You would be better off throwing your hard earned money in the street.

After the technician completed the filter service, my water filtration system was not working properly. I contacted the owner expecting them to stand behind their work and help troubleshoot the issue. Instead, without performing an official inspection of the system, I was quickly told that the resin likely needed to be replaced and was quoted approximately $500 for another service visit. My system is only about 5-6 years old, so I was concerned that such an expensive repair was being recommended without properly diagnosing the problem first. We later discovered on our own that the actual issue was that the filtration system settings had not been set correctly after the technicians changed the filters. Once the settings were corrected, the system worked. My biggest concern is the lack of communication and proper troubleshooting. Before recommending a customer spend another $500, especially immediately after your technicians serviced the system, I would expect the company to first verify that the work was completed correctly and that the system settings were properly configured. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.
