After only dating for a few months that was not in the plans. When we walked in, they were very welcoming and asked if there was anything in particular we were interested in. They actually listened when I said I was looking for a gift idea!! We had the opportunity to look around the store and ask any questions. Even though the goal wasn't to find an engagement ring that day, I did fall in love with one that my (now) finance ended up getting for me! Every time I need to get my ring cleaned or polished I have the best confidence in leaving my ring in their care and coming to pick it up later. In addition to my ring, I have other jewelery items from Murphy's and I love each and every piece I own. They take pride in their work and try to make sure their customers get the best care and jewelery they are looking for!!

The mall's interior never recovered from the store losses occurred during the 2020 COVID-19 shutdown. Yes, a few stores came and went after, but nothing ever stayed for long. Super Shoes leaving only made things even more complicated. The malls interior hours being only 10AM-7PM really limited the crowd that could patronize it. The shopping center portion of the property remains vibrant with Kohl's, Michaels, TJ Maxx, Dunham's Sports, Dollar Tree, and one of the largest Boscov's in the chain all remaining. What comes next for Fairlane is unknown, with the interior almost certainly heading for some sort of demalling. It is exciting in a way because there is demand for more retail in the area. Shame the malls interior ended up like this because in the late 2000's/early 2010's, this mall was really decent. Time to look towards the future.

I have to say the Boscovs is nice. There is a Michaels craft store that's pretty nice. There is a beautiful bright tj maxx and a decent Kohls although I haven't been loving much at Kohls lately. I do like this Kohls because they still seem to have a decent pedestrian jewelry section. The other kohls I've visited have ripped out the lower end jewelry area to add Sephora cosmetics. I won't bother coming back bcs Laurel Mall is closer and more occupied. Very sad to see our malls like a ghost town.

Either way when I got there the set was still there on the rack with the $250 tag on it. I was able to get this item for $199. Not bad at all. In fact for 300 lb Olympics set that's a great price. On tree day, a large group of friends gather at our house for breakfast before convoying to Schuylkill County in search of the perfect fresh Fraser Fir. From there to Stoudt's for lunch; it has been our lasting tradition. http://www.stoudtsbeer.com/ When you arrive, you're immediately greeted by very kind folks, a cozy, blazing fire in the fireplace at the lovely antique barn, free hot chocolate and cookies. The wait is never long for the tractor to pick you up for your hayride over the hill to the tree farm where you can cut down your own tree or select one to be cut for you. I've always wanted to be one of those people who chooses their Christmas tree months in advance and tends to it over the months before harvesting. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KuDoCRsqdAg&feature=autoplay&list=ULne7o-6Of3gs&lf=mfu_in_order&playnext=4 The farm is dog-friendly and the owner is always happy to see that Mary is still able to make the trip. He walks towards her with a delightful smile as he calls to let her know he hasn't forgotten her name. The prices are good (don't forget to tip the workers who are bailing and loading your tree) and $2.00 of every purchase is donated to the local SPCA.
