Located on the Granville Mall across from Nordstrom = easy to find. A vast selection of candy, gummies, chips, pop, cereal etcetera with many popular imports, you will definitely find something that you love or want to try out. People have the munchies today, as it was quite busy this Saturday afternoon - I wonder why? Warning please ensure your dental insurance is all up to date & in good standing! You will lose several of your favourite teeth after going through several goodies from here. The temptations are endless. There's nothing healthy in here, so if you need to constantly monitor your blood sugar levels, or if you're watching your weight - you can just window shop & wish.

I looked at the sign at all the different types of candy and many of them sounded great! The woman working there offered me a free sample of any of the candy and I tried a mango piece. I didn't find the flavour to be as strong as I like but we decided to get 3 bags for $11 (or $4/bag). I got a bag for friends and I tried the peanut brittle and fizz candy. The bag looks small but you get lots for 100 grams. I liked the fizz candy as it wasn't too fizzy. The peanut brittle was good too and great for crushing and putting on ice cream. Great food truck and location to enjoy during a walk along the seawall. The woman working was really friendly too. Would be great to see more candy trucks!

However, there is no shortage of candy in this city, even organic all-natural dye-free candy. Just look to Whole Foods, Save-on or other bulk foods places around the city and in the GVR. What they do well though is service. How many stores/vendors around this city are giving out free samples? I mean, seriously, do you know of any? I don't. Even places like Kernels and Starbucks don't do it often, and overpriced candy vendors at Granville Island could take some advice from this business. So while my marine life-shaped marshmallows were delicious and cheaper than Butter bakery at only $4, I don't see myself stopping by this truck often as I find it easier to walk into the nearest natural foods store. However, as a person who appreciates good customer service, I will be coming back to buy some product once in a while. Perhaps this business could sell their product in Whole Foods/Choices? Easier access for me!:)

She took the time to explain their varieties of Swedish candies. I let her know that my daughter loves sour gummy candy but is looking for one that has less citric acid coating. Michelina went above and beyond saying she would create a custom bag on the candies we talked about. She emailed me an invoice, I paid online and within a week My daughter was able to enjoy them! What a sweet experience!

Having a sweet tooth this place appealed to me after seeing Carmel Apples made in the window. I entered and found treats I needed. I picked up a bag of chocolate covered pretzels and some toffee with milk chocolate and nuts. Now I should have sampled the toffee at the store. Why you may ask well it was so damn good I ate it all after dinner and had to wait to buy more the next morning. I fantasize about this treat constantly once I ran out. It had the perfict crunch when biting into it. My brain exploded with sensory overload due to the unimaginable quality of the toffee and chocolate zapping every taste bud my body offered. I was visiting friends in the area & drove along Marine Dr when I saw the sign ... Kandy heaven here with a big arrow pointing at it! LOL in my dreams! Ricardo apparently has another shop somewhere up the road & decided to open this massive candy shop right here at White Rock Beach. It seems there's a correlation between toking up Zaza & getting crazy munchies in your belly! The previous candy shops I've reviewed have had Mary J connections (usually a cannabis store next door) & appear to go hand in hand. Regardless, speaking as the strictly sugar addicted lunatic that I am, RKK offers a wide variety of candy selection & humongous gummie options up for grabs! I could see I wasn't the only one with eyes popping out of our skulls as we admired the selection ... kids were jumping around in glee & the moms were smiling ear to ear taken back to their childhood favourite candy being right in front of them. It's incredible to see the number of candy shops springing up due to the pandemic & ongoing border closure (cannot drive down, essential status only) with the States! Almost makes one wish it would stay closed longer ... hee hee! So future candy shops keep opening up & importing all that awesome stuff, Cheetos, ice-cream, Lay's, Pez, Rap Snacks, Dunkaroos et cetera ... LMAO! Ps health conscious nuts need not apply!

Walked around in the mall and finally found it on the lower level. The address listed on google and yelp says V7Y 1E7, doesn't help at all. There's no samples to try in the store, we just blindly trust it's gonna be good. We got milk and dark chocolate selection for gifts. And got a bar of white chocolate with barley for ourselves. Turns out the barley white chocolate bar is pretty good. Barley is quite crunchy and even though it's white chocolate, it's not super sweet. Was a bit sad didn't try the ice cream, it looks pretty good.
