I was in and out pretty quickly. The only downfall is that I have an antique bed which is a full size and mattress companies are not making full sizes. He was able to get two special ordered for me (might as well get both beds a new mattress at this point) and he apologized it would be a two week wait - I have no choice so I can wait. The next day he called me and asked for measurements on my bed frame to ensure the foundation size I had ordered would still work. Not many people would do that and that extra detail did not go unnoticed.

VERY frustrated. Husband and I bought a mattress back in November. I was 6 months pregnant at the…read moretime and we were looking for something more comfortable. Found one we liked in the medium firmness, bought the 365 program membership and a mattress cover so that everything was under "warranty" (whatever that means for them). The woman told us that it would be firm at first but overtime it would soften. Told us to rotate it to help break it in. We had the mattress delivered and installed. For a while we were uncomfortable but remembered what she said about it breaking in and rotating it. Fast forward 7 months and my husband is having chronic neck pain due to the matters being too firm. At this point we had had enough of the discomfort so I called to see about an exchange (since it was under "warranty") and the man on the phone confirmed we had the firm option for our selected mattress. My husband and I were GOBSMACKED!! No way on planet earth at 6 months pregnant would I select a FIRM mattress. The customer service guy gave us all the info to get started on the exchange. We get a call saying the restock fee is, "typically $800 but they'll only charge us $400." Obviously frustrated that I'm paying basically a car payment for a mistake made by the sales rep, I call customer service, the man on the phone tells me that typically if it was at fault of the sales rep, we won't be charged a restock fee but he needed to send me to mattress services. The mattress services woman tells me that because we didn't complain directly after the "30 day break in period" there's no proof that we were unhappy that we received the wrong mattress. I tried to tell her time and again that we were listening to what the sales rep told us about waiting for it to break in. Then she said because we failed the check the receipt or the law tag, we have to pay the restock fee like everyone else. Is everyone else getting sent the wrong mattress too??? Doesn't make any gosh darn sense to me. So now we are having to pay a $400 restock fee because I had to much trust in the sales woman. Only positive is that they weren't pushy in the store.

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU BUY AT ASHLEY!!…read more I was going to buy two armchairs for the living room. The tag had two prices on it; $587 regular and $499 member. I take responsibility for not noticing the word member until my third visit. I talked to 3 different salespeople. Each visit I was told if I pay $139 and become a member, I would save 15%. Using the $499 price I said if I paid the $139, by the time I saved the $150 (15% of a $1,000) I would save only $11.00. They said nothing. Nothing. Today I went in to buy. The total for the two chairs was $1,174. I asked how two chairs at $499 could be that price. I was told I had to pay the $139 to get them at $499 each. Without the membership, they were $587 each. This is the FIRST time this was said to me. The old bait-and-switch routine I thought only car salesmen used. Even with the new information on the price, I was going to go ahead and get the chairs. I have to admit the salesperson was genuinely charming. After thinking it over, there's no way I will ever buy from Ashley in Norman, Oklahoma. The price was only $137 more than expected, and I really wanted the chairs. However, I will NOT buy from any deceptive business. Just be upfront and honest with customers. You lost a sale and are getting a bad review because you tried to deceive me. That is NOT acceptable. By the way, I am from Norman, Oklahoma. I'm not sure why it says I'm from San Francisco.
