Tons of cardio equipment (two levels) so you never have to wait on a machine. Decent workout…read moreequipment, some could be updated but there are tons of machines so it's easy to see why some are new and some just haven't been replaced yet. The staff is excellent and the people are all so friendly. I've never had an issue with anything here and the staff even let me workout 3 times before I moved here for free just to make sure I liked it. There is a food cooler to purchase healthy meals and snacks from. However, you might need to take a machine wipe to the tables because they're sometimes dirty. Parking is plenty, and the locker rooms are always clean enough. The water fountains are not very good and they sometimes are cold and sometimes room temp. Bring your own water to avoid this. Lots of activities and amenities included. I suggest trying a day for free and experiencing it yourself!

This place has gone. down. hill. It's a part of the Norman Regional Hospital group, which has had…read moreits problems lately with insufficient staffing, poor administration, etc., and this place reflects all of that. They moved a couple of years ago (the photos you see here are from the old place), and the place is smaller, darker, and more crowded than it was before. There *is* a ton of equipment, but nothing has been cleaned in a long time. The people I saw working out there (and working there) didn't seem to be enjoying themselves very much. It was creepy. I went there to tour recently, thinking about joining, and the only way I could get in was a member came through with a fob and let me in. There was nobody at the front desk to see me trying to get in, and no instructions on the door on how to enter as someone who isn't a member yet. The "nobody at the front desk" problem continued -- I wandered around looking for someone who worked there to answer my questions, and there was nobody but a guy who appeared to be repairing a machine. He noticed me wandering around, and I told him why I was there and he went and got the person -- singular, the ONE -- person who was working there, and she showed me around in a very half-assed fashion. I cannot overstate how dark this place is. The walls are all painted black, and it feels like the gym on the Death Star. Only smaller. And dirtier. And less friendly. The place is open 24/7, but only staffed for half of that time; I think I'd be scared to go there in the "off" hours. I noped right out of there. Nope.

I'm really digging this fitness center in norman. I joined crunch after having tried out the YMCA…read morein Norman and having a membership at the Sarkey's fitness center at the university and Crunch is better at meeting my needs. Crunch has an open floor plan, no hidden corridors or hallways to find the locker rooms or the weight rooms. It has a very simple layout and everything is pretty much visually accessible from when you first walk in. They offer daycare services that come bundled with some of the premium memberships or they have a daily fee and you can drop off your children for up to 2 hours. Call to find out the schedule, but their availability offers some pretty good coverage. It's open 24/7 which many of the centers I've used in the past aren't. They have a large selection of treadmills, steppers, ellipticals, bikes, a cross fit section, a large group fitness room, and tons of free weights and machines. I've been able to complete 90% of my workout routine without having to wait for a piece of equipment to become available. This is even during some of their more busier times after work as well. They offer additional amenities like a sauna, spray tan, cryo, and they have lots of skilled personal trainers to assist you as well. Overall this is an amazing facility to workout in. They always run specials for discounts to join so be sure to sign up for their emails. I signed up when they were offering a free month with a one dollar sign up fee. I figured it was worth the price to try it out for a month and I really liked it!

1. This crunch severely lacks on cleanliness, equipment readiness and maintenance…read more 2. Apparently there is a policy that kids can't step on the fitness floor? I understand they can't utilize equipment. However, they can't use the restroom in the locker room when kids crunch is unavailable? 3. A staff member at the front desk gave my daughter who has a soy allergy candy without soy without me there or asking my permission. So we're sitting in the emergency room. Don't recommend
