Jiffy Lube on Main Street had a busy signal all morning. Their nearest location in Roswell answered, but didn't have emissions testing available, and referred me to another business that isn't open again until Monday. Sonuz was the closest place open Sunday for emissions. So I tried my luck by calling, got a quick answer, and Samsudin confirmed that they're open and available. I headed over, and was seen quickly, and efficiently by Samsudin himself. He was a friendly person, with great customer service, and sense of humor. They were OPEN and the man providing service there was very nice and efficient. However, they charged the standard $25.00 instead of the $17.99 as shown in theses pictures. Since what pictures are loaded and let here, I see this as misleading or false advertising. At the same time, $25.00 has been the standard for most locations in Georgia. I have been coming here for emissions for ~7 years. I only come here for emissions. Today, the woman broke off the pin that holds my gas cap tether and did not tell me. You knew you did it. Now, I've got to pay $40 for a replacement due to carelessness. When you are working with peoples' cars, honesty goes a long way. Don't waste your time as I don't think this place is in business any longer. The sign said it was open at 10 on Saturday. I got there a few minutes before 10 & waited until 15 after with no sign of an employee or opening. There were four cars behind me; when I left there were only two left but I imagine they left shortly too. Had to go to the car dealer ship and buy a new one for $ 60, went for a retest, and had a different inspector test the original cap first and passed, noticed inspector 2 used the brown color test kit and the first inspector used the red kit, no wonder it failed. Asked second inspector what would happen if they used red instead of brown, and she said the test would fail First test 10th Jan 2020 , second test 11th Jan 2020 Post update! Owner reached out to me 12th Jan and offered to either pay for the fuel cap or refund money for the testing. Super fast, super cheap. One of the cheapest places I've found. The guy is nice but.... Maybe I'm the only female who has experienced this since I see no mention in other reviews. The emissions guy can be a little...dare I say...creepy. It's the same thing every year. He pulls up my motor vehicle records. Him: Uh-oh, my machine must be broken. Me: Mmmhmmm.... (I use to say, "Uh oh!" but now I know the routine since it's the same thing year after year.) Him: It's telling me you're old enough to drive. You look too young and pretty to be your age. Me: Ehhhhhhh.... (shudders at the creepiness) Many women might find this flattering. I just don't happen to be one of them. I use to bring both my car and my husband's car in for emissions on my own. I had my husband come with me twice. The guy says nothing to me those times except "hello" and "have a good day." I recently made the mistake of going by myself which meant these comments and more. Stay far far away. I fought the 5 o'clock traffic to get up here and then sat for 20 minutes while the technician tried to date the woman who's emissions test he was doing. He finally lets her leave and I pull up and he tells me that he can't do BMWs or Mercedes today. His story is that the state randomly picks days of the month where a different kind of test has to be done and it doesn't work on BMWs and Mercedes. I call bullshit.
