I was looking for somewhere to get my ears professionally cleaned, and was so impressed with Dr…read moreThakkar's glowing reviews on yelp and his website bio, both my husband and I paid a visit, and we both ended up ordering custom ear plugs. My husband - musician ear plugs; me - swimming ear plugs. The procedure for getting molds of our ears made was fairly fast, not uncomfortable (just a slightly weird sensation), and the ear plugs were ready to pick up in 2 weeks. As someone who generally does not like having my ears plugged, these custom swim plugs (different colors too, to identify R and L!) have been a revelation. They are really snug and comfortable, don't fall out, don't let water in, allow me to still hear some sound, and I was told that they also float if they should fall into the pool. I haven't tested this. I highly recommend Soundscape Audiology! It was very easy to make appointments. Dr Thakkar was great - he explained everything very clearly and we felt safe and assured throughout the whole process. Note: no credit card payment. We paid by venmo.

I am a healthcare professional of 41 years so I know what I'm talking about. Jessica Paz is the best person I've ever encountered to guide me through a new process. She's so confident, and at every single step made sure I was comfortable and knew what was going on. She was attentive to every single thing! When I met Jessica this was all new to me. She cared about my comfort, I had very little knowledge, she explained everything in a way I could understand. And I'm an old senior so I need a little extra encouragement and teaching. She even wrote things down for me, very reassuring! If you need to get your hearing checked, or equipment to do with hearing, Jessica Paz is your expert!

And for the dizzy spells they told me to balance in the corner on a piece of foam. I came back and demanded more tests and so they put me on a table and got me dizzy. He told me to go back to them and get more tests done, however by the time I finally got into the neurologist and he did scans and tests, my insurance was about to expire. I am still experiencing issues and trying to get referrals to another ent but this place was a waste of time. They just shrug your issues off and push you onto somebody else.
