This place is Great! I needed to take my grandmother for an appointment so I called the office the girl who answered the phone was very nice, she provided all information I needed prior going in the office. I was really glad that she exampled everything to me because sometimes I go to a doctors office's and the receptions don't tell me what I would need to bring with me! When we went in the office the office was very busy but overall our experience with Eduardo Leon and the staff there was great. Later on I found out they have another location in Glendale which is much closer for us so I now take my grandmother there. read more

I had a hearing test back in Sept of '24 at this office. Oddly, no one seemed very interested in selling me hearing aids. Impossible to get anyone to return phone calls or e-mails. POORLY managed office. Find somewhere else that really wants to help you solve your hearing problems. read more

My initial experience with This office was not positive. Even though this facility has "care" and "professional" in their title, I did not find these attributes in any of the employees I originally interacted with. I thought my middle aged neighbor would benefit from this facility for help with his hearing needs and found there was a high level of insensitivity and hostility from the employees for dealing with a new client. Again this was my initial experience with them. I found that they did not return phone calls and if you inquired why they don't return calls they become very upset with you for asking. At first I wanted to search for another hearing aid provider to help my neighbor out. However, in the days that followed my initial horrible experience with Sonus Hearing Care Professionals I found the attitudes amongst the staff changing. They eventually did help my neighbor and he eventually did get a hearing aid from them. Is there a lesson in this? I'm sure it's to treat others how you want to be treated and sometimes an initial bad experience with a provider doesn't mean they will act like that all the time but most people usually can only make a judgement based on their initial experience. read more

Took my mother today to receive her hearing aids. She seemed a little nervous at first, however; the clinic manager (Eduardo) calmed her and explained perfectly well on how to use her hearing aids. Dr Keiko Gibson needs to have her license taken away. Her behavior was DEMONIC (yes I used that word) towards my 95 year old grandfather who has no sight nor hearing. She couldn't control herself and absolutely TERRIBLE - rude is not even the word. Gibson was aggressive, unstable (emotionally & physically with hands shaking), impatient, & impetuous with the sound making machine that when my grandfather didn't respond right away (because he was EXHAUSTED from the wheelchair ride to downtown), she aggressively & impetuously put the sound machine to the HIGHEST volume just to prove that he doesn't respond that WE were able to hear the sound from outside the test room - I can only imagine how LOUD it would've been in grandpa's ears - could have damaged his ears! When I asked her to be patient and try it again, clearly, my grandfather was able to respond that he was able to hear by saying "yes" and when he got too tired from saying "yes", he simply nodded. Immediately, she put "x" marks constantly and tried to prove to us that she can't finish the test so we have to reschedule and come back after another month. I'm not sure who this manager guy Eduardo is, but if it was that man walking around the facilities with his head down so he doesn't have to confront our distressed situation, I personally don't think you're as great as everyone says you are. You are supposed to give us a call, so let's see how long that takes. Meanwhile, I'm praying that Gibson doesn't treat anyone else this way or stops her practice. read more

Everyone at the facility are very helpful and nice to their patients they made sure my father and i didnt have any questions.

So they decided what type of hearing aid zi needed without consulting me.. the was a year ago. When I kept having problems with it I was treated very poorly and lied to.. I was then told because they already charged the insurance I would have to wait until February 2022 the get an upgraded hearing aid. I wait then explained why I was making an appointment so they made me an appointment. I went in and more disrespect and more lies? When I left my ride home asked why I was in a sore mood and asked if zi had went to SONUS hearing specialist. I said yes.. the driver proceeded to tell me their families experience with the place and that they were indeed a RACIST organization and fraudulently charge your insurance and lied to them as well.. they only cater to a certain demographic type of people.. very sad they wouldn't help even when I begged for it to hear better.. sorry excuse of a doctor's office read more

We called this Sonus location to address a hearing aid emergency. While vacationing, my wife's hearing aid receiver was chewed up by my daughters dog. The receptionist directed us to Eduardo, the audiologist and he invited us to come in to see if he could do anything to help. He replaced the damaged receiver in minutes and refused to accept payment. He and the Sonos staff ensured our having a great vacation. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE This location Sonus Hearing Care Professionals on 1127 Wilshire Blvd 12 floor Los Angeles, CA 90017 I took my Mom there for consultation and are very rude since the beginning to the end of the consultation, specially the receptionist seems they are part of the Doctor's family when you complain the Doctor always makes excuses to protect them, and at the end the paying patient is the bad person. They don't care about their customers or their time, I give them a chance 3 different times to change my mind about their services but their attitude made it the worst experience. The reason I keep on giving them a chance to change my personal point of view is because they probably had a bad day, but their attitude seems they just don't care about patients. You got to be sorry if you are late for your appointment, they don't even send a reminder letter or give you a courtesy call to confirm your appointment, they just say when they called you you were given a time to show for your appointment but you don' t have a proof of it. if you are late BAD NEWS they just will not see you, they will not care if you drive from long distance to their location or even if they make the mistake when the appointment is made they will say it's your fault and you have to reschedule if you want to be seen. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THEM EVEN IF THEY ARE FOR FREE.. GOOD LUCK TO FUTURE VICTIMS. read more

Good update. So one of the Audiologists at the downtown LA Sonus office contacted us and was really eager to solve our problems. After months we were finally able to get our refund and I was informed that they had made some changes to their staff. I'm not exactly sure what that meant but in the recent calls I have made to the office there seemed to be someone different picking up the phones who was a lot more helpful and 999,000% less rude. I feel like the Doctors at this office actually do care and seem very eager to make things right. We are going to give this office a second chance and I'm hopeful that their actions match their word. read more

I have never had a more difficult time dealing with someone on the phone, simply to make an appointment with an insurance referral. Rude! And thoroughly disrespectful!
