They were extremely helpful, and even though I accidentally made it hard on them (I went in without her insurance cards, on a Friday when her doctor's office is closed, and only a half hour before they themselves close for the weekend), they got it done for us! I feel bad when I'm one of "those" customers. You know the ones. The ones who don't have anything helpful with them (like insurance info) and come in at the last minute. Yeah. That was me. Yet they remained friendly, helpful, and got me the nebulizer my mama needed! She showed me how to set it up for my mom and how to use it. Letting me know that if I have any questions, I could call them! She also informed me about the quarks of the machine (i.e. Don't leave it on for more than 30 mins at a time, etc.). Worst pharmacy in town, in my opinion. My mom was getting…read moreher prescriptions from here. I asked that I be able to pick up her meds, rather than wait around all day for a delivery. When I did go pick up her meds, the staff were unfriendly and seemed annoyed that I'd come to get the meds rather than have them delivered. 2 months ago, they sent her a text that they had planned to deliver her meds that day (not sure why they ignored my request to pick them up) but had only discovered that day that she needed refills, so her delivery would be delayed for 5 days. No apology, no offer of emergency meds to cover her, I guess she was just supposed to keep her blood pressure down with the power of her mind. Last month, again they ignored my request to not have her meds delivered and sent her a text that the delivery was on its way. No one showed up. She called the next day to ask where her meds were and they said they would be delivered the following week. Again, no apology, no emergency meds. I'd had enough and went to another pharmacy to transfer her prescriptions. The new pharmacy called me and said that Akron Health Mart Pharmacy had actually refused to allow the transfer until I called to tell them why. So, I did. She's now with the new pharmacy and we are so glad to be done with these folks. Please, save yourself the headache and go anywhere else.

It was apparent that she could care less for my business and told me that she couldn't help me because my insurance company was closed for lunch at that time. (Untrue) do yourself a favor and do not waste your time here! Also she never even stood up to greet me from behind her desk that was behind service counter! She was not wearing a mask during this pandemic! But they did have a sign posted for mask wearing! I will use every opportunity to deter people from this awful place! I also asked to speak with the owner and she would not allow me that, stating that she was unavailable and wouldn't even take any of my information so that she could get back to me! Update: The owner called me personally to apologize on behalf of her company and ensured me that she would speak to Susan so that an incident like mine doesn't happen again for future business. There was no answer, only voicemail, even though their hours stated they would be open. I didn't leave a message, but someone called me back almost immediately, evidently getting my phone number from caller ID. The gentleman had a strong accent, and was somewhat hard to understand, though I appreciated him calling back so quickly. I was still in the parking lot. When I explained what I needed, he didn't recognize it, vaseline gauze for wounds. According to my doctor, this was a common item for first aid, but nobody knew what it was! I ended up getting it from Amazon, after checking every pharmacy and medical supply stores in a 20 mile area from Hillcrest Hospital. Even pharmacists had no idea what it was.
