I am now in AZ for the long haul and will be working on filling my life with new green babies. I looked for an independent nursery and boy oh boy did I find an amazing one! Pueblo is truly a hidden gem. A church for plant lovers where worship happens unabashedly! I think my psyche started healing upon crossing the threshold. The shop has several rooms where beauties hide and bloom. I was able to find my curly spider, which was my main goal. I also got a jade plant, which I've always wanted and never tried. My boyfriend found the coffee in the back and said it was delicious. I passed on the cacti because I don't like pokey things, but they had some lovely succulents that I will return to adopt. My boyfriend is sometimes in the area for work and I encouraged him to stop there to buy me plants anytime he is in the area versus flowers or candy. Yes, it's just that good! To say the neighborhood is sketchy is an understatement. Keep your wallet close and make sure you lock your doors. Don't let this warning discourage you. It is absolutely worth the trip. The quality you get is leaps and bounds above anything you'd get at a big box store.

One then walks around to the front where a stone paved sidewalk with a garden variety of beautiful plants, some this summer slightly blocking the walkway, guides you to the main entrance. Inside there are a variety of metal/wood furniture pieces that have been hand forged or updated in numerous ways. An antique writing desk is in a backroom that has been updated with steel pieces giving it a vintage yet contemporary appeal. There was a nostalgic letter inside this desk from no less than the owner sharing its long family history. I have purchased giftware and a metal wood side table for my living room from Urban. There are bars, dining tables, signing and a lot of original art. There is also lighting, some of the Indian variety, and a range of Mexican and Southwest artifacts. It is worth the trip and also making the rounds a few times. I enjoy that someone is not peering down your back and one is left to wander. A Phoenix gem. I will be back!

It was our last stop of store touring and had we known how cool this place is we wouldn't have gone anywhere else. I was in awe of all the artistry in every piece of furniture in here from the moment we walked in. (The landscaping outside was equally impressive.. If only we had a yard!). Once we walked in we were greeted by Nick. We told him what we were looking for and he directed us to pieces he recently finished among others in his store. If there wasn't anything we liked he was happy to put something together. But that was not the case...we liked Just about everything in his store. We had him make us a zinc top table with an angle iron base along with a bench made of reclaimed wood and steel. He custom made these items based on the measurements we gave him and the look we were going for. We left the design in his hands and they came out as we had hoped! We've since been back as his store always has new things. KUDOS for the fact that the one-of-a-kind pieces he made were locally sourced and manufactured here in PHX! Awesome!

I stopped by this place. They had the biggest selection I had originally wanted a turquoise cactus. Which they did have But I ended up seeing some flowers with the hummingbird that I just fell in love with And they were able to cut them right there. It had been 2 inches too big. And they cut it down to size for me I mean, who does that? That's so amazing. I was so excited. Every single employee there is super friendly There is so much stuff to look at there. I wish I needed to buy more stuff I didn't. But I kind of now wanna decorate my whole house in the style of Mexico lol The prices are Uber reasonable. Again, the staff is so friendly and helpful. I also found out that this is a family business that has been going on for like five generations. The original grandparents were here before it was even the United States Go check out the store even if you don't need anything you will find something you think you can use there
